Is the macro posted on page 9 still viable?
Use the WiseEclipse addon. It does what the macro did, but better.
So I finally got my 2 trophies. I bought the T9 chest, but now I can't decide what 2nd piece to get. I have about 55 badges, so I can get glove/shoulder now or helm next week. I have all 5 T8, [Stormrage Crown], and [Handwraps of the Lifeless Touch]. Which combination is best based on my current gear?

Head/Chest T9, Shoulders/Legs T8, Lifeless Touch. Plug it into something like wrathcalcs to be sure. Should be about right though, just wait another week for the badges you need.
till today i have been using the script/macro to go from SF to Wrath eclipse, which worked quite well but sometimes i just used it to early or late. So when updating some mods today i thought i'd give WiseEclipse but its giving me a lua error when i start casting SF when the eclipse procced. Did anyone else have this? or does anyone know how to fix it ?

Yeah, I updated WiseEclipse yesterday, and saw that sometimes when I was testing on a dummy. Couldn't reproduce, though.
The error is now fixed, uploaded in wowinterface, as always.
It was a misplaced 'local'

Hello! I recently was wondering exactly at what point in a Moonkin's socket bonus would one choose to favor that bonus! (I'm actually a resto druid but wanted to make a little guide for my Moonkin guild mates) So I went to this thread and stole your handy info on Moonkin's stat weights and came up with this, I thought I would share.
After posting this I thought I could even do another section for Potent Ametrine for if one is haste soft capped. Blah! I'm too tired now
Hi. at first I want to tell my thank for this boomking guide. My dps is much better now but still have some problems with basic spells - SF and W. I have read this long thread but can somebody tell me how to boost this spells. I know dps depends on my stats and equip but still my awerage hits with SF are around 8K and I cant improve it. I saw on youtube some viedos about boomin dps.. And most of this videos are showing Boomkin hits with SF about 10K and more and almost same hits with W. This never hapend to me. I know I dont have best equip for my character at now but I will be very gratefull for any ideas.
This is link to my char ... so you can check stats and equip.
Your gear is plenty good for 10k SF crits. Unbuffed your crits should be over 9k. Not bad at all for reaching 80 about six weeks ago.
Make sure you've trained (and are using) the top rank of Starfire. I think your tooltip should read something like 1131-1344 damage for Starfire, but I'd have to check in game to be sure.
i am really thinking to leave 2t8-2t9 combination and to get 4t9 or 2t9 + other ilvl245-258 for anub heroic. nearly half of the eclipses are ignored to aoe adds. stats are getting more important cos at least %30 of the damage dealt in fight is hurricane. any suggestions??? maybe i should leave one point iff and get typhon.

Get typhoon, it will be a good dps boost. Build up stats with your gear, the only set bonus that comes in handy is 2P T9 so just maximise haste for the AoE. You still need a decent amount of crit for NG procs, but starfall/moonfire should cover those procs alright. This is from my experience which atm I can't back up with any math.

Thank you all ... I finaly solve this problem ... I had SF rank 8 in my AB instead of SF rank 10. Really noob mistake ... but I did not realize that because before when I ding lv, every skill I got automatically replaced old one in my AB.
Now my SF crit hit for 10K and more unbuf.

That's most likely due to a quirk in the dual-spec system. If you train a new rank of a spell, it is not automatically updated on the action bars of your inactive spec. It is a fairly common problem, you are by no means the first person to fall victim to it. Make sure to check the ranks on your other spells, you might be using lower ranks of those too.
Another thing for the boomkin community to ponder. Recently one of our guild members switched his druid to be his new main, raiding boomkin. Quite honestly if it was my call I'd flat out boot him from the guild for ignorance, but as he's the GM's pet this is a very unlikely happening. Currently, he does not take starfall, nor glyph of starfire, and uses what I've come only to describe as a spec only a window licking child would think is good.
However, it did get me thinking over the boomkin talents as a whole which leads me to the questions. Given the current content and fight mechanics, is starfall a waste of a talent? with all the AE damage going around is a point in owlkin worth considering? Take a look at his build 56/0/15 and give me your input on it.
Owlkin Frenzy doesn't proc off of many damage effects. If you want to make a case that it's worth having, go into heroic ToC and comb through the log to figure out the uptime. When people have done this in previous instances (like Ulduar) it was concluded that it wasn't worth it.
Separately, you can evaluate the relative usefulness of talents with WrathCalcs. Starfall is generally a weak but dps-increasing talent on single targets. It is useful on the only current difficult progression fight. Even against single targets, for my gear at least, it is better than improved IS. And if there is a fight where unglyphing IS is important for the debuff, glyphing starfall is the next best alternative.
Note: Take everything I wrote here with a grain of salt, unless someone else confirms it.
Abyssal rune ? I'm sorry, but you are wasting a slot there. Even the brewfest +crit trinket (copy of pocketwatch) would be better. You are over the 401 haste softcap, so crit should be much, much better than haste for you.
Get rid of Owkin Frenzy. It is useless. I don't have any points on Intensity, and neither should you. In your case, Dreamstate _should_ be better (do the math, please).
Also, you should do the math and see if 2 more points on Moonglow wouldn't benefit you even more.
And get rid of ImpMF. Really not worth it. better to put those 2 points somewhere else. There is some math on this thread to prove it.

You are right that we shouldn't need any points in intensity, neither should you have any in dreamstate. And if you don't have mana problems then genesis is better then moonglow.
I'm currently running around with 28.4k mana raidbuffed as boomkin, intensity is still remarkable stronger then dreamstate if i would want to invest in a regen talent.
With T9 2pc set mf crit bonus.. and in addition with the T9 or T10 idol you should try to have moonfire up 100% which makes impMF a no brainer to take.
If i would the have the luxury to take 2 balance pve specs then the first would have 2/2 in gale winds and the second i would take 2/3 owlkin frenzy, other options are 2/3 brambles or 2 extra points for genesis.
Dreamstate and Intensity are both pretty useless too, as you really shouldn't oom that much unless we're talking long fights or aoe fights like Anub.
IIRC haste doesn't get that bad after the cap, it's quite even with crit (?)
I don't have any points on either Dreamstate or Intensity. As long as other people (healers etc) don't need my innervate, I can go on forever.
I forgot about 2T9, which might actually make ImpMF worth it. The last time I checked ImpMF numbers was during T8 content.
And no. Crit is better than haste if you have more than 401 haste. That is not saying haste is bad after that point. It is still huge, but since Wrath is responsible for at least 40% of your damage (or should be), and you will be hitting the GCD at 401, that haste is just wasted during that part of your rotation, while crit will benefit everything.
And since we are talking about T9 content, is Typhoon still worth it ? I'm speced for it, and it was great at Ulduar, but ToC ? I'm seriously considering dropping it for something else (please consider I run around 300ms latency, which makes breaking my rotation even worse).
Been thinking a about changing my spec. I'm 4T9 right now, with the T9 idol.
With 2T9 and IMF, you should only have 1/3 Moonglow. That frees up two filler points--I currently have them in Owlkin, which is just as good as any other option.
The exception is Anub'arak 25H. There you need Gale Winds, and I'd recommend the point in Typhoon as well (as well as Glyph of Typhoon and Glyph of Starfall).
Well, my guild is nowhere near 25H Anub, so I'm not going to worry about that right now. we are still struggling with the NB on 25H. I can see your points there, tho, and agree about Gale Winds. Just not so sure about Typhoon. But, to tell you the truth, I'm just bored with that spell, so I'm biased.
