One additional complication to trying to sync this is that, at least in my case, my raid leader attempts to sync heroism with DBW (as it procs roughly at the same time for the people who have it) and, like the haste buff, heroism doesn't offer the best synergy with berserk. Also, just having enough spare attention to watch for it may be a problem on some fights.

Syncing berserk with hero is less loss than the gain from syncing berserk with DBW. Also, ask for shattering throw during this same window, and hysteria if you've got someone to give it to you.

i looked up the BiS list, isnt [Cryptmaker] better than [Distant Land]?Due to the massiv agi /crit of ICC-Items plus trinket proccs im already near the critcap.Second point, why i want to take the mace instead the staff is the fact that it has a LOT of hit AND armorpenetration.
(Sorry i'm talking about the normal versions, not heroic)

This mace is a loss of stats over using a staff. Notice your typical staff has agi/stam + Arp, crit, and AP (or some combination like that). Cryptmaker comes with less stats on it but higher top end melee damage because it is designed to be used by something like a warrior/deathknight/ret paladin.

A BiS weapon with ArP on it allows non-BS/JC ferals to cap a lot easier now, you should be seeing all the offset pieces being shuffled around now to cap hit/expertise more effciently. Hoping to get my hands on one soon

Although, a weapon with a lack of any proc is sort of disappointing.

There it is, finally. Drop on Ikfirus, get nonset gloves. Gem hit/exp (the only hit item could be rep ring). And plenty of sockets left. Its also easy to achieve almost all socket bonuses. Non hit/arp/exp sockets could be filled with haste or str/haste.

Temelin: You may also want to look into getting precision on gloves (20 hit) versus 20 agility. This frees up a hit gem as well for something that may rate higher (haste possibly).

I'm a bit confused on this. It seems that almost every BiS scenario drops gloves from the set. Why, on the other hand, couldn't one go with [Sanctified Lasherweave Handgrips] and [Bladeborn Leggings]? You have haste and arp on the gloves, the only drawback is the missing expertise on the tier pants. Or is there something else I'm unaware of being considered in these BiS lists?

edit: Pre hard mode... current gearing considerations.

Also, have you looked at [Bloodfall] over [Distant Land]? Also, keep in mind that we are talking about the normal ilvl 264 weapons here.

[Idol of the Crying Moon] has 20 Agi more than [Idol of Mutilation] on static fights.
On the relic section above the BiS list, I mentioned that the mutilation idol is better on aoe fights or fights with dps interrupts. Just read...

Concerning the two items you posted:

16 Agi

vs

24 Haste
32 AP

Now obviously the 24Haste + 32 AP is much better.

I've been looking through.. but I attained DBW last night, as well as did some testing with HWT.. I found my dps went down, swapped back to DV and dps went up.. I was over 11.3k dps for the majority of Fester.. (I had to pass on all loot that raid to even have a chance at DBW, so when It dropped, I unloaded all my orange gems for ArP the next fight and felt normal again)... now that i'm 1074ARP again, I'm having to go back to ArP food(Sad face:-/)... Has anyone found with DBW and berserk up, its better to shred spam with zerk up? Aka~ Shred til 5cp, refresh roar.. shred til 5cp refresh rip.. then with whats left of berserk.. to just shred spam? I found doing this my dps went up about 900 or so rather than FB spamming with excess zerk time. I've been testing on a dummy various rotations to try and figure out best way to dump the last of zerk energy... Anybody else have any thoughts on this?

Hello.

Just got 4 piece Tier 10 last night, and with it went under the hit cap due to losing the hit from helmet, but went a bit over the expertise cap.

Up until now i have just been putting +20 arps into Red/Blue sockets and Agi/Crit into Yellow slots. Yesterday i shifted some Agi/Crit oranges for Agi/Hit ones so i could be at hit cap with Draenei.

I was just wondering if im doing the right thing here, i know in the past hit/exp have not been very important stats for us, but it seems in ICC gear alot of Ferals are gemming/gearing to get expertise and hit capped.

Should i switch all my oranges to pure Arp gems and just try to get as close to the hard cap as possible? Or am i doing the right thing by actually caring about the hit/exp caps?
