Someone brought up the mongoose enchant again due to the 2% haste on it. I actually found a 5 dps increase switching to mongoose on all the profiles I've previously ran versus berserking.

Let's go back to the lessons originally taught by early Toskk theorycraft: the more you increase one stat, the more value the rest have relative to it. Haste doesn't go up much at all from BiS T9 to BiS T10 (since it's on less gear), which means its value is getting scaled up by all the AP /crit/ArP we're adding. Raw AP, though, is increasing substantially.
This might not explain all of haste's improvements, but Berserking never had more than a 5-10 DPS lead in the first place.
I've tried switching berserking to mongoose with Furion's (modified for NE: one hit gem switched to ArP and heroic presence turned on) and my own profiles. It resulted in 11-12 dps loss for all mangle profiles and 6-8 dps increase for ones without mangle.
Professions are JC+Leatherworking, actions list is Furion's. Even after changing reputation ring proc chance to 1.667% and ICD to 60 seconds it seems to give better results than Frostbrood one: 14050 for non mangle profile with mongoose and 13770 for mangle profile with berserking.
Edit: modified Furion's profile gives 13964 and 13712 respectively, all with 10000 iterations.
Edit: When I increase "dot.mangle.remains" above 0 it won't recommend shred anymore so that part does not quite do what I want. Should only be relevant for Mangle profile.
Yeah, the change makes sense-- don't shred if Mangle and Rake are expiring. Putting all those shred conditions on the same line hurts my head though!
They are getting complex enough that I feel as though we need expression aliases or something. Every time I see "buff.combo_points.stack" I wish I could just use "cp" like we can outside of the "if=" blocks.
As for the "dot.mangle.remains" part... did you try "debuff.mangle.remains>=1"?

edit: debuff.mangle.remains>=1.1 seems to work with manglebot profile and is a small dps increase. Setting it to 1 or lower doesn't seem to do anything, though...?
If anyone is interested: My current approach is to use ovale to visualise what simcraft does so problems are easier to spot and then I can use simcraft to fine-tune the numbers.

Interesting. A nice extension of the DPS timeline SimC provides would be a graphical representation in which horizontal bars represent cast time and running dots. It would only work for a single iteration and it might turn into a pile of work. (As if everybody didn't know how stingy I am when it comes to allocating dev time to the interface...)
Or I could just get the combat log generation working again so folks could upload to World-of-Logs and let them handle the graphics......
Using the same priority list as Immortal and using this profile I managed to get 14152 dps with someone else applying mangle. Note that when importing from wowhead you need to manually change the proc chance on the [Ashen Band of Endless Vengeance] to 1.667% and you need to add a [Precise Cardinal Ruby] to [Distant Land] because for some reason the wowhead version of the item only has 2 sockets as opposed to the armory version
I posted in the Simple Questions/Simple Answers thread, but have a feeling it may not be so simple. I was wondering if anyone knows the script required to SimCraft Hysteria as a feral druid. I've tried using the code provided by running a BloodDK sim, and I edited multiple times to try and get it to work, couldn't get it to activate / work at all. Appreciate the help.

There is no simple buff you can click on: You'll need to include a DK in your sim.
Make a copy of Death_Knight_T9_51_00_20.simc say DK_Hysteria.simc and change the actions+=/hysteria line to include ",target=your_name".
Add a line with just DK_Hysteria.simc in your profile and that toon will also be loaded and buff you with Hysteria.
When using immortal's profile I only get 13940 dps. Difference seems to stem from him playing alliance and getting heroic presence.
The current shred profile I use results in 13983 dps for horde (with jc/ench):
I ran a few different sets including ones with [Frostbrood Sapphire Ring], [Arcanum of Ferocity], Berserking, and Engineering/JC instead of Blacksmithing/JC. This was the best set I could come up with at 14530 dps. I included Heroic presence and mangle as I am Alliance and typically have an arms warrior in the raid.
Odas, your gearing is off due to a bug in the latest SC release. For some reason, the crit conversion on white hits is gone in the latest release, so I am seeing no white hits with BiS profiles. This leads to crit and agi being slightly overvalued in your profile, especially with the choice of using Ashen Band of Endless Vengeance instead of Frostbrood Sapphire Ring. Even in that case, though, I ended up with with more DPS using Frostbrood over Ashen Band. Caveats are that this is JC/Enchanting with bleed and bleed damage unchecked (IE mangle profile and assuming that a warrior does not crit off the bat on the boss, but shouldn't make a difference since you should rake before your first shred). This is also a horde profile, so no Heroic Presence.
Also, I manually edited in socket bonuses where they are activated.
And just to see what I got, I converted 1 hit gem to haste and 1 to 10str_10hit, changed the race to night elf, enabled heroic presence, and turned on the mangle bot and ended up at 14551dps.
Running your second setup changed as suggested to Alliance in simcraft 330.7 I only got 14420dps. Where did you get all of the socket bonuses for the heroic pieces?
As a side note, is it possible to have the source profile display on the output? Its annoying when I'm running several profiles that I have to try to remember which profile corresponds to which result.
The socket bonuses remain the same going from normal to heroic. Don't forget to change a few of the gems to work around the hit cap due to going from tauren to night elf.
Using the socket bonuses I got the 330.7 dps up to 14536 and the 332.0 dps up to 14573. When I did run your profile on 330.7 I changed the race to night elf and changed the gems as you suggested. It still came nowhere near the number you suggested. Are you sure you didn't mean 14551?
Yea, that was a typo on my part, I fixed it to 14551. I also see where we both went wrong, you are using JC/BS whereas I am using JC/enchanting, so the 2 profiles can't really comparable. Try making a profile using Band of the Bone Colossus and Frostbrood Sapphire Ring instead and then adjust gemming accordingly to try and line up the hard/softcaps. When I tried to use the 2 rings you suggest in your profiles(with modified gemming for hit/arp caps), I saw a dps loss.
I still cannot replicated your 14551 in simcraft 330.7. I can however get 14451 using the same items as you as Night elf with hit, arpen and expertise (almost) cap.
It would be convenient for the purposes of comparing profiles to use the same versions. As you noted that 332.0 does not include critical suppression I reverted to the previous version (330.7). The oldest version I have is 330.1 and it does not run your profile, which I believe has to do with both the line
It looks like further testing by Aldriana and Landsoul shows that crit conversion was "fixed." It is now just crit depression so you can crit cap and not have any regular hits. I'll have to redo my gemming with that in mind.
