Druid FAQ: Read Me Before Posting

Welcome to the Druid forum of Elitist Jerks. We're glad to have you join our community, but in order to have you remain with us permanently it is important that you be a contributing member. When I say contributing I mean that you do not violate the general forum rules during your stay and also that you do your damnedest not to make useless posts.

Posts you should read before posting anywhere:
  1. General Forum Rules

You are expected to make a reasonable attempt to find the information you are looking for before posting your question. There are people who are longtime contributors to this forum that have put countless hours into mathing out responses and doing research on your behalf. Do not belittle their effort by being lazy. This will most definitely earn you an infraction.

You should avail yourself of the two easiest methods to do this:
  1. Use the Search Function
  2. Look in the appropriate thread (see below)

Before you post in any thread you should read the FIRST post of that thread. Some of the threads have a specific purpose, if you post outside of that purpose you will receive an infraction. You would do well to read the last 5 pages of the longer discussion threads so you are up-to-date on any current discussions and do not bring up something very recently discussed. Discussion buried deep in the threads is likely not in line with the current patch, so some discretion (regarding infractions) will be exercised if you ask something already talked about awhile ago.

For quick questions (that you have already searched for using the above methods and cannot find an answer to), feel free to make use of our Simple Questions and Answers thread. Here is a good example.

Quick Druids Facts
Feral: Tanking, Cat DPS
Restoration: Resto PvE Compendium and General Discussion By Hamlet and Glyph Discussion by Rijndael
The first 2 posts have a ton of information that you should read before posting.
Moonkin: Moonkin PVE DPS (by Hamlet)
This is also a great source of information. Please note that this is an article in the Think Tank that Hamlet keeps up-to-date and only questions/comments about the article itself should be posted here.

General Discussions

There are many threads about things that are very specific. For your convenience I have made a list below of general discussions. Please make sure you are posting in the correct thread.

General Cat Thread

Restoration
