Let's say someone has 14.89 mastery, is the .89 mastery useless? (marks mastery)

Is it possible to que a spell even though you do not have enough resource to cast it?
Will the client automatically reject the request, even though your regen may give you enough focus by the time the server actually processes the que?

Mastery applies in parts of whole numbers as well. The tooltips should tell you how much your mastery rating/score increases your mastery percentages.

The client will reject a spell that you do not have the resources for, the client cannot predict when the server handles the request, and thus cannot predict whether a possible queued spell will be eligeble by that time.

When you scroll over your haste stat on the character screen, it shows you the rating and %. Does this include Pathing in it?

For example, if it shows 10% haste and I have 3/3 Pathing. Is 3% of that haste being shown from Pathing or is it not included? Thanks.

Regarding H Omnotron: Does somebody know if the snake trap does trigger Electron's shield?

I like to use both traps in that fight because of entrapment, but I wonder if the snake trap might be a problem sometimes.

Yes, it is included there in "Ranged" section as Pathing only affects your ranged haste.

I doubt it is worth the time it takes to fire the extra trap to be honest, unless your raid is quite low in dps. I dont even use entrapment in my 10 man, we just keep the frost up under the boss the whole time and make sure everyone switches.

One question about Power Generators. we do need to re-apply Serpent Sting while in one to gain the increased effect?

Quick pet question for MM. Assuming that party/raid buffs are covered but physical target debuffs are lacking, what would wield the highest personal DPS for a MM hunter

Ravager: 4% increased physical damage
Hyena: 30% increased bleed effect (PS)
Raptor: 20% armor reduction (@ 5 stacks)

The best answer is to use femaledwarf.com for your specific character, but when I did this for my hunter alt recently, it resulted in 4% physical being the best by 10 dps over sunder, which in turn beat increased bleed damage by ~150 dps. That is all close enough that it probably is going to vary depending on your specific gear and other buffs/debuffs. I think the 4% physical debuff only comes from Cunning pets however, so that will probably make it favor the other two.

It's even worse because hyena Tendon Rip has a bug and doesn't work on most bosses (see post 175 in this thread), so you have to bring the tenacity boar to reliably get the bleed debuff.

For personal DPS, all these three buffs are practically equal. The only difference is that a feocity pet will add the most to your personal numbers, which means for now raptor is your only option. But the "proper" thing to do is look at your other DPS and figure out which buff is going to help the most number of people. For example, if you have a lock, boomkin, mage, and priest as DPS along with you, then the bleed debuff is far and away a better choice than either of the other two.

Later on in that thread in the german forums, somebody claimed that the hyena seems to be fixed in 4.1 (=no more immune bosses like Valiona & Theralion etc).
I've seen no logs nor did I try it myself, though.

I can confirm a Hyena's Tendon Rip has been working since 4.1 on every boss in T11 at least. Here's a log with most of them:

Hyena's Tendon Rip doesn't work on any boss on Throne of the four Winds, and last time I tried on Cho'gall didn't work either.

I'm not sure the last time you tried, but according to logs they've been working on all of those as well.

I figured this questions is better asked here than in the MM thread. I'm trying to get used to MM rotation as I've been playing survival for quite some time now and reading through the MM OP I noticed mention of using traps during fights, but then they are not part of the rotation.

Is using Explosive trap part of MM's single target rotation? If so is it used on CD?
