This is the highest dps I've gotten, using my own personal character stats (The jewelcrafting neck, [Hard Khorium Choker], is more dps, but not available to me at this time.)

I used Cheeky's raid buffs, but changed the food buff to [Spicy Hot Talbuk]

Also, the dps would be higher if [Adamantite Sharpening Stone] were added to both shiv's. I'm not sure whether that would do more dps than [Righteous Weapon Coating], but I don't think there's a way to factor that in on the spreadsheet yet.

while you're right, I couldnt find a "none" option so my assumption is either cheeky forgot to put one or he made it so the bow didnt have its passive +15% ranged haste and as such has you keep a quiver/pouch for the calculation.

I started playing around with the spreadsheet some more tonight to come up with the best possible setup. This isn't the actual setup I will be using because I run with a boomkin, but I am fairly certain this is the best possible setup in the absence of Imp FF. Some of the key factors for this build are the use of the Accurascope in order to drop the IC ring and use the badge ring instead. Of course ring enchants and JC neck/gems are a big plus. Don't forget the Naxx shoulder enchant and the single agi/hit gem to get you closer to the hit cap. Also, at some point smooth lionseye became better than wicked pyrestone again too.

I encourage everybody to find a better build should it exist, but please remember not to get too caught up in these spreadsheets. They are an entertaining exercise of the mind, but when it comes to in game reality (oxymoron right?) your raid/group composition can vastly change the gear that will be best for you.

so I read kamaa's post, without realising it was his, and then redid mine to try and get better dps only to realise once i was done that I had copied kamaa item for item my bad man.

But I wanted to ask if you were using lurker as a target or someone with more armor? Possibly your dst procs are less? IDK but I seem to get ~250-300 more dps than you with the same set up and IDK why.

I made an interesting find today. Replacing DST with [Berserker's Call] boosted DPS to 2680. Thor'idal does not play well with haste?

Hey I have a quick question. Do any type of sharpening stones work for hunters?? I've been looking around alot for the answer but can't find any confirmation. And what sharpening stone is the best for max dps?

Sharpening stones apply the + damage only, but not to steady shot.

Weight stones apply both the damage and the crit.

I am wondering is the Hard Khorium Choker also best in game for a Survival hunter? It lacks a lot of agility even with a +10 spinel in it.

Hey just wondering with a wind serpent is there a point where it is ok to use lightning breath and bite?? Like at a certain crit that yields higher dps?

I can't find the Brutal Gladiators chain gloves. And the worksheet is password protected. Any advice?

Yea I'm definately noticing a huge difference w/ bite on auto cast, my pet is destroying other hunter's pets dps, specially on entropius. Trolls ftw 37 passive crit.

Is it worth updating this for MM and 3.02?

As it is right now the spreadsheet and the hunter class are still updated too often to make this thread work reasonable. I guess I´ll wait a bit longer until the pace of changes slows down somewhat before thinking about making the effort again.
