Import/Export isn't working for me on Vista64 with Office 2007. Probably a permissions problem with "C:\Hunter_DPS_export.bin"?
"Run-time error '75': Path/File access error"
The rogue spreadsheet's import works, but that one just has you select the old spreadsheet directly instead of using an intermediary file.

@Midnight
Thanks for uploading. It confirmed what I was suspecting. Latency is in seconds, not milliseconds. So putting the value '10' in there means you have 10 seconds of latency. Maybe I should put a note with it.
The Gem was indeed yellow, it's not surprising one or two gems got in faulty since it was a huge batch of 300+ gems added in WotLK.
@Vith
I don't have Vista myself, so I can't really check it. But yes, it's probably related to the permissions of the file. If anyone has an elegant solution for it, I'll be happy to use it.
Update:
- Pets now benefit from Hunter's +hit
- Reworked Glancing blows mechanism for pets
- Fixed bug in profile saving if you had no shots in your shot rotation queue
- Bright Scarlet Ruby is now a Red gem (instead of yellow)
- Hunting Party now has a proper range from 0/5 to 5/5 talent points
- Pet hit now affects pet spells as well

Is it possible to have the path not be hardcoded and simply be a field on the Settings tab? I don't have a C: drive, so I have to manually upate the VB macro everytime a new version comes down.
Also, was something changed with the Import/Export process such that exporting from version 69 and importing into version 72 could possible stop working? I tried to do an export of my set up in v69, but when I import to v72a the data references on the Settings/Results tab are incorrect?
I can try to post a screenshot if necessary.

Good point, I removed the Glyph Mastery glyph somewhere in between so that probably broke it.
As for the file name, there's no particular reason why it's hardcoded, except that's how Cheeky did it. I'll add an option for it next release.

Hmm, the Gear Planner says there is an included option on how to apply hit? I can't seem to find the dropdown menu =P

That option was removed, I just forgot to change the text explaining the gear planner.

Yeah, I have a Recount screenshot showing 0 pet misses on the PTR. Glad to see the change.
@Shandara - So I assume it selects gear based on current hit then? =)

I tweaked the logic so it bases the DPS boost based on the hit that would be used if you replaced the item currently equipped with the one being compared, which is the logical way to do it really. It also counts gem sockets/socket bonus.
E.g. If you're at the hitcap and your current belt has no hit then all compared waist items' hit is useless and thus worth 0 DPS.
Conversely, if you're 4 rating below the cap then any item with more than +4 (+current hit on the item) to-hit will waste part of it.
It's my hope this will make the gear planner more accurate, in that an item that's listed above the one you have currently equipped will always increase your DPS (rather than the old spreadsheet where you'd have to fiddle with the settings in an all-or-nothing setting).

A simple "ignore hit cap" check box and a resort would be pretty helpful. While that's not 100% accurate, as your dps will fluctuate a bit as you change gems around, most of the time if I'm hit capped and an item would put me 10 hit over, I still want it, its still better, and I just need to change some gems or something around after I get it. The dps difference between different gemming setups is fairly minimal to where just ignoring the hit cap when you have that checked seems like it would provide a much better idea of what is and isn't an upgrade. People will still be able to uncheck it, and tweak their gems around to get the exact numbers.

Update:
- Aimed Shot is now 8% mana (12% for sub-70 ranks)
- Kill Shot now deals 200% weapon damage + 0% RAP + 410/500/650 damage for rank 1/2/3
- Multi-Shot now costs 9% base mana (13% for sub-70 ranks)
- Focused Aim now gives 1/2/3% to-hit
- Surefooted and T.N.T. swapped places
- Scatter Shot moved to SV tree, Trap Mastery as 41pt talent, Readiness to MM tree
- Point of no Escape has now only 2 ranks
- Implemented Readiness to work with either The Beast Within or Rapid Fire (select which on Talents tab, not saved in profiles yet)

You should probably add:
Spell Critical Strike Chance Debuff: Improved Scorch, Winter's Chill
EDIT: Why choose which spell is affected by Readiness? Shouldn't it reset both?

Good point. I should wake up properly before I make changes.
Edit:
On the subject of Scorch and Winter's Chill, what of our shots are affected by this? Same goes for our pets.
Arcane Shot works of our ranged crit chance, but is affected by, say, Curse of Elements. Does it gain extra crit from the mage debuffs too?
Explosive Shot the same, but also has ticks. Do the ticks benefit as well?
I'll try to test those questions today.

Following up on this, I tried to do the import with the latest v73 and got this. I wasn't sure if your reference to the removal of the Glyph section was in response to me or not, but I'll assume so. For now I'll just manually key it in like normal folks =P

Yes, it was in response to you. Anything pre-Glyph Mastery removal won't import properly. You can fix it by hand by editing the profiles tab, though.
Providing conversion in these cases hasn't been very high on my priorities, I'm afraid. Once WotLK hits and updates/major changes are less frequent I'll probably consider it. One down side by the way I save profiles and import/export stuff now is that it's done in blocks of data, rather than each cell one-by-one. So correcting changes is slightly more iffy. It's a lot faster though.

Build 9014: SV talent Surefooted no longer offers +hit. That has been moved to Focused Aim in MM tree.
I didn't see this change in your v73 notes. Sorry if this is redundant.

This change is in the change log.
Small update:
- Aimed Shot is now instant and no longer clips Auto Shot
- Readiness now doesn't require a selection, works on both abilities a the same time

Yeah, I was thinking more for pets specials. I see no reason why they shouldn't benefit from the +10% crit debuff.
EDIT:
Aimed Shot's damage has been nerfed to about 25% of its previous value. Check the added damage in Wowhead.

I have a picky but simple request. On the "Settings and Results" tab, I'd expect to see the results of all the inputs. It gives me the most basic one in DPS, but then it also provides, health, mana, resilience, armor, dodge (all things I really don't care much about, but some might), but it doesn't list things everyone cares about like AP, Armor Pen, Agility. Could you show some of those, so we can compare builds that we've saved in different profiles without cycling through, loading, and moving to the separate tabs?
Also, the one thing in the "Hunter Basic Statistics" box at the top, hit and crit are listed. It would be helpful if these were listed below with the saved profiles, also for comparison's sake.

Most pet specials are still attacks, so they shouldn't be affected. Neither should your shots.
It doesn't matter whether it's magic damage or not.
Death Knights have 2 melee attacks that deal magic damage but still work just like normal attacks, not like spells.
Things like Lightning Breath should be spells and be affected by the +10% spell crit and Moonkin Aura, but not Leader of the Pack.
Things like Bite should work like attacks.
It's a spell if it has a 17% resist rate, cannot be dodged/parried, (usually cannot be cast while silenced) and goes with spell hit / crit mechanics.

I've got two feature requests:
The Talents tab already indicates you've got an invalid tree when you forget to include a prerequisite talent. I'd like it to check on the right amount of talent points in lower level tiers as well. (At least 5 points in tier 1, if you put points in tier 2, etc.)
On long fights a hunter will probably switch between AotH and AotV repeatedly. If that's so, talents like invigoration and efficiency will affect long term dps: longer in AotH and shorter in AotV. In order to compare the long term dps of different talent builds (with this in mind), I'd like it to show the average dps of one AotH/AotV cycle. Perhaps its best to make it optional or additional to the current way, for people who couldn't care less or who can stay in AotH for long fights.

Given that Bestial Wrath, Rapid Fire and Readiness are on the GCD, should we add them to the shot rotation table since they will consume GCDs? There is a selection for the GCD near the ability but it is protected.
Also, Blood Fury is on the GCD by the looks of it, so that will probably need to go there too

The weapon enchant Greater Savagery only gives 85 AP not 90 AP.
edit:
Typo with Perfect Steady Dark Jade and Perfect Steady Dark Jade where it says Pefect instead of Perfect. Also the Perfect Wicked Huge Citrine seems to be missing completely.
Not necessarily a bug, but more of a suggestion: For metagem slots would it be possible to only show metagems that fit into the slot, not the "normal" gems?
edit2:
Nerubian Leg Armor only gives 55 AP and 15 crit not 60 AP and 15 crit

Update:
- Some corrections to gems and enchants
- Aimed Shot now has the new +damage values
- the Settings and Result tab now shows AP/Crit/Hit and ArPen values of the saved profile (you'll have to re-save any existing profile for these values to be filled in properly)
- You can now select Rapid Fire, Bestial Wrath and your Racial (if applicable) in the shot priority queue
