Long time reader who finally signed up and this is my first post.
Possible Bug:
When reading gear from the Armory using the current PTR version a box appeared that said:
+25 hit & +25 crit is not a supported melee enchant. This happened twice with one hand weapon's I have slotted.
When I manually pull down the box, Accuracy does show and works correctly when selected.

Circlet of True Sight is mistakenly named Circle of True Sight in your SSheet. Just thought you should know.

Update:
- Changed pet armor debuffs to %-based modifiers. Acid Spit same as Sunder Armor, Wasp Sting same as Faerie Fire, Spore Cloud 3% (and doesn't stack with Faerie Fire/Wasp Sting).
- Added Swordguard Embroidery
- Added option to load alternate talent spec upon Armory import
- Corrected spelling of various items
- Black Arrow scaling changed according to Ravenfire's testing
- Added a setting to disable automatic pet priority (for those for whom macros don't work)

Hello. First of all I want to thank you for the spreadsheet. My DPS in game moreless doubled after finding it
I noticed that my DPS is now greater with hit rating 262 than when I exchange one Deadly to Glinting Monarch Topaz and get hit capped. It looks like my increased crit overpowers some misses, but what about my pet? I always thought pet hit rounds down, so when I have 7.99% hit, my pet will have 7% hit. But when I looked at Overview tab I see "Needed to hit cap: 1" and "For Pet: 0". Did it change in 3.1?

This might be a faulty rounding issue, I will investigate.

Hi! Thanks once again for all the work you do.
Running around as a MM, like most, I have run into some mana issues with bosses without mana to leech from. While it's guaranteed for me to go oom in every one of those situations, I can not duplicate it in the spread sheet, and have not found the reason (its most likely just me, not applying the correct raid buffs or uptime)**edit: I figured out I had to change my latency settings, makes more sense now**, but here are a few things I wanted to share:
I think the formula for roar of recovery is not quite right. I am not even sure exactly how the formula that is being used came to be.
In my mind E125= (E124*E123)/E122 no?
In my case, my mana pool(buffed) is 15071. The spread sheet MPS is 0.42 for RoR. Now 30%= 4521(right on E124) which gets applied twice for a total of 9042 mana. Now for the whole 9042 mana to be applied, the encounter would have to last 369 seconds. To keep it simple, lets say it will only really last 360 seconds, therefor you can only use it once, that is still 4521 mana applied to 360 seconds for 12.56 mps.
I have also noted how on the dragonhawk, there is no Crit/Resit modifier, just a Resist modifier, but I thought the initial fire application could crit.

You are correct in that the formula is wrong. In a 360 second fight however you can always use Roar of Recovery twice (assuming you get low enough mana in any case). With a 3min (180 second) cooldown as long as you use the first early enough the cooldown will be up again before the end of the fight. Even if the third one's cooldown is not up before the fight ends you've still used it twice.

Aye, getting late, and I have no clue where those 369 seconds come from. That would bring the MPS to 25.12, in my example. If the rest of my math is not off, it will be plenty to keep me out of viper
I also edited my previous post and had a question with the initial application of a dragonhawk's fire breath, and how the dps is being calculated. Thanks again.

After using spreadsheet recently I found two strange things:
1) I have more agility in spreadsheet than on live (same equip, gems, chants, both unbuffed) - live was ~1463 as you can check in Armory (same gear used) with ~1540-1550 in spreadsheet.
2) After checking around two pieces I've recently got: Bracers of the Smothering Inferno and Iron-studded Mantle (using T7.5 gloves then) started fooling with new glyphs. When changing from Steady to Serpent (Explo and Kill being other ones) one my pet's dps goes up (while mine and overall goes down). I'm assuming that it would be because of more GCDs spent on shots = crits = GtTT = focus = dps. But with ~41% crit unbuffed should it still be like that?

I'm working on my own spreadsheet for quite some time, I recently added shot rotation simulation like Cheeky's, and I also incorporated Improved Steady Shot according to the simulation model. (I don't know if Cheeky is doing it that way).
Basically the simulation lists your next 400 shots according to your priority choice, and then the spreadsheet checks how many steadyshots are fired before each Chimera/Arcane/Aimed shot consecutively. If there is 1 steadyshot fired before an Arcane, it calculates the average damage of Arcane shot according to that. It does it for every single shot in that 400 shot list. And then adds up total damage, and you can see the exact dps contribution of improved steady shot and it's extremely weak.
Gives around 30 dps for 3/3.

1) The proc from Darkmoon Card: Greatness is included in the total on the overview/gear page. I'll make it exclude procs for the next version so comparison with the in-game value is easier.
2) This is probably because of higher uptime on procs/talents/etc.. that trigger from hits/crits, thus boosting your pet's AP slightly.

These seem to have been disabled for some reason, I'll have that fixed in the next release. For now you can type 'Prismatic Socket' in Cells A49 and A55 on the Gear tab which will open up the drop-down list (I forgot to lock those cells so they were overwritten at some point).
