Create custom gear with the same stats as the tier gear. The enchants will stay the same but you'll have to account for the sockets and socket bonuses. Subtract your dps in the custom gear from your dps in tier gear. For me, 2pcT7 is worth 52.34 DPS. I also see a difference of about 70 DPS between the Saronite Mesh Leggings and Valorous Cryptstalker (this is a pretty hefty upgrade by the way; most linear upgrades occur in much smaller steps), so your 20-ish DPS gain sounds about right.

The question though is if the way 2pct7 works in the sheet versus live are the same. As I posted. The pet AP differences etc.

Quick update: the devs are looking into the problem with T8 2-set and Chimera Shot. Since I didn't get the "working as intended" response, there's a good chance that it's just bugged.

Acid Spit doesn't seem to be affecting the hunter's DPS in v88b
The Armor debuff field in the Total row stays at 5.00% (from Faerie Fire) even when the "From Pet" row shows 18.07% instead of multiplying them together and then affecting both pet and hunter DPS.
Of course, this situation only shows up with Sunder Armor disabled and Acid Spit does seem to properly affect the pet's DPS (when you disable it in the pet rotation, pet DPS goes down).

The desired result is to compare a Wolf to a Worm in a 10-man raid that lacks a warrior or rogue to see if Acid Spit causes the Worm to help the hunter's personal contribution more (ignoring the impact on the rest of the group for the time being).

I've noticed that DKs in general don't seem to keep a very good uptime of Horn of Winter; closer to 50% or 60% than 100%. Would it be possible to introduce an uptime value for that buff?

Also, I see that a poster asked this in February, it may have been overlooked: can Improved Icy Talons be put into Pet Buffs?

Thank you very much for all the hard work you put into this spreadsheet.

EDIT: Also, each Curse of Elements rank now has a slightly different value of resistance reduction and spell damage taken increased, and it is no longer improved by Malediction; and, Improved Moonkin Form gives Moonkin Aura the same buff as Swift Retribution (which now applies to any aura a ret paladin has on).

I just tested it in-game and 2t7 does NOT give +5% pet AP (the numbers the sheet calculates match in-game within +1/-1 variance due to rounding).

Seriously, it's a 2 minute buff and if your DK's can't keep it up you should slap them instead of asking to introduce a silly feature in the spreadsheet. Horn of Winter should be up 100% of the time or your DKs need a stern talking to.

Shandara, I have noticed when trying to delete profiles using the "Delete Profile" button on the gear page, I get a run-time error. "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch.

Clicking on the debug option take me to the function listed below. The bolded line is apparently where the run-time error is occurring. I hadn't tried to delete a profile in 88b, however, I got the same error in both 88b and 88c. So there may be a semi-long time running of this error that just hasn't been caught yet.

I figured this was true, but considering that it's one of the few buffs/debuffs that isn't 5 minutes, player error will come into effect more often, and an uptime column is arguably useful to help model what some folks can expect to see -- especially since it's not in the hunter's control. But, I can understand why some folks would find it a silly feature.

Doing some naked testing here on 2p T8 on a level 60 target dummy with a fine light crossbow. Spec: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

Now, with 4118 AP and 2p T8:

Theory 1(multiplicative with noxious stings): (4118 * .2) + 1210 = 2033.6
2033.6 * 1.3 * 1.1 = 2908.048
2908.048 / 5 = 581.6096

Theory 2(additive with noxious stings): (4118 * .2) + 1210 = 2033.6
2033.6 * 1.4 = 2847.04
2847.04 / 5 = 569.408

Test Result: 569-570

Has anyone tried to simulate the updated version of the Magnetized Projectile Emitter? I tried inputting it in the custom gear section but it reported #VALUE! or some such.

Sthellesta I assume you mean Improved Stings (30%) instead of Noxious Stings (3%) here. Would be interesting to see how the 2p T8 bonus works with Noxious Sting however...

Thanks. I am not sure why I am showing higher AP with the T7 legs then with the Saronite on my pet. But I will take your word for it.
