Deathbringer's Will really seems to get interesting but in my opinion with the 155+600ARP proc it is worse than Mjolnir, with 155ARP+600Agi it is better than Death's Verdict. I hope it will have a class consideration/specc consideration/gear consideration (e.g. gemming for ARP or reaching the hardcap via gear + ARP procc seems to be able).
btw there are some new items
-ring with haste/arp ilvl 264 here
-same ring ilvl 251 here
-new gloves ilvl 264 here
-gloves with ARP and hit ilvl 251 here
-a bow ilvl 251 here
-waist ilvl 251 here
and some reserved positions
- crossbow #51802
- gun #51845, bow #51927
- crossbow #51940
- polearm at #51949 (just behind the 10man heroic ilvl277 axe so perhaps Lich King loot?)
- crossbow #50733
- bow #50638
Yes I know nothing confirmed etc. But I am pretty sure about it especially the "reserved" ones have new shiny icons and we should keep an eye on.
I'm seeing Culling the Herd 3/3 in the Spreadsheet (which is still red-ed out on the Pet Talent page, btw) as a straight 3% damage buff to all shots except SrS. Is it supposed to apply to SrS as well?
Esoth had a "napkin math" post a while back (#3669) which seemed to show 83% uptime assuming a 20% pet crit rate and a 1.25 sec pet GCD. The spreadsheet seems to show 100% uptime for me, with a 21.01% pet crit chance buffed.
If 1/5 pet hits (20%) crit on average - once every 6.25 seconds (1.25 sec GCD x 5) - and the effect lasts for 10 seconds, 100% uptime seems reasonable since your pet would have to not crit for 8 hits for the buff to fall off. Possible of course, but unlikely on average. Is 100% right?
I'm not sure how much item correction you are planning on doing while it's still on the PTR, but here's a couple:
Toskk's Maximized Wristguards - the haste should be ArP, for heroic and regular
Scourge Hunter's Vambraces - same as above
For some reason the spread sheet is telling me needle-encrusted scorpion is a downgrade on the gear planner tab compared to mjolnir, which is clearly impossible since they have the same stats only the scorpion has more. In the calculations tab the sheet says the average Arp benefit is less even though it was the same calculate uptime. Maybe something is calculated wrong there.
We have a new trinket from 10 man ICC. The normal 251 version:
Whispering Fanged Skull
Binds when picked up Unique: Whispering Fanged Skull (1)
Requires Level 80
Item Level 251
Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 131.
Equip: When you deal damage you have a chance to gain 1100 attack power for 15 sec.
Plugging this in with a 10% proc puts it above Mjolnir but below 245 Death's Choice.
Also if possible you might want to restrict people from equipping both the normal and heroic versions of this as it appears to be limited to one at a time. This is also the case for the two Deathbringer's Will trinkets.
Why does the spreadsheet assume that each ISS proc will be used by a Chimera Shot? Many time I will get ISS right after I fire my Chimera shot and the only alternative I have to to have my Aimed shot eat it or let my aimed shot sit there and fire off 5 steadies.
It only assumes that if you've entered a rotation that results in all aimed shots being directly after firing a chimera.
If what you're getting ISS procs before Aimed Shots in game, but not on the rotation tests, you are not playing in game as you claim to the spreadsheet you are.
(you can't get an ISS proc "right after I fired a chimera shot" - if the steady you fired previously procced ISS, then the Chimera you just fired will consume the ISS charge. The only way to get an ISS proc after a chimera and before an Aimed that'll actually use it is to fire a steady shot between your chimera and aimed.)
I tried finding Shifting Dreadstone in the gem dropdowns for gear... is it not there? I found Shifting Twilight Opal! But no luck with the epic! 10 Agi 15 Stam
One helpful option is the ability to display only epic gems in the Settings Tab. This dramatically reduces the length of the gem list. Note that you must hit "Sort Gems" first to rebuild the gem list.
@Shandara: if it is possible, could you please filter out and not display Dragon's Eyes when the option to not use them is selected? This was requested in this post but you did not address it. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
I believe I have found an error in the calculations for the Needle-Encrusted Scorpion.
On the Calculations tab, cell Q155 for the ArP cap on NES procs, the calculation is:
100*ArpRating-B56 (where B56 is the Hit Adjustment of -3%) = 100*~14-(-0.03) = 1399.6
The similar calculation for Mjolnir Runestone in T177 is:
100*ArpRating-E18 (where E18 is the Gear Penetration Rating of 577 for me) = 100*~14-577 = ~823
Note that ArPRating is approximately 14. I used 14 above for ease of writing.
It seems that the intent of the calculation is to determine how much ArP is left after removing the passive amount to determine how much ArP of the trinket proc will actually count towards the cap. As such, I believe that Q155 should be using E18 instead of B56.
Note that if you have less than 722 passive ArP, that this error will not impact the calculated benefit of NES and its relative benefit to MR. However, if you have more than 722 passive ArP, the benefit of NES may be overvalued since the the full ArP of the trinket may be used in the calculations instead of the cap limited amount.
Some additional "bugs":
- When entering NES into either Trinket 1 or 2 slots on the Gear tab that the Item Set field has a 0 in it.
- It appears that for the Herkuml War Token that it is implemented as a straight up 340 AP and that the 15-20s stack up time is not accounted. This is probably a fine approximation, but can slightly skew trinket comparisons. Assuming a 20s stack up time and a 5 min fight, the approximation estimates about 11 more AP on average during the fight then what actually is present. Do you plan to keep it this way, or do you plan to implement the AP stacking part like you did the Fury of the Five Flights?
