WotLK DPS spreadsheet - Page 30

Shandara, a stupid question, but the search doesn't seem to find it, and I've spot read a lot of this post...how do I get the spreadsheet to let me set up different profiles? ie Raiding, PVP, solo, etc?

Edit: second question...using the Drakkari Hunting Bow, and the gear planner just shows '0' in all my delta's...searching 'Drakkari' didn't turn up anything, is this a known bug? or did I just do something wrong?

On the overview page you can set up the names for your profiles. On the gear tab, select the profile you want to edit/save/load and make adjustments.

I'm not sure what you are doing with the Hunting Bow? Just select it from the drop-down menu.

Couple of small things:

Prison Warden's Shotgun doesn't import correctly from Armory, because it is spelled Prison Warden's Gun in the spreadsheet.
Mirror of Truth is a badge reward, not a 10 man Naxx drop.

Another minor issue:

Heavy Borean Armor Kit is missing (I am a leatherworker and made a couple of these to level up my leatherworking skill, then applied them to my own armor, but they don't show up in the spreadsheet).

It's a 'dps' spreadsheet I can't really see the need for a stamina armor kit tbh.

With Survival talent Hunter vs Wild stamina gives attack power to both hunter and pet.

Pawn is an addon that will put a value on your items hover display based on values you input for the various stats, allowing you to compare different pieces of equipment. You can either input a value for each stat in the addon or else input a full string (easier when you get the string from another place, such as the spreadsheet now.)

Like this one posted in PAWN string forum (spreadsheet will give values like this because of its exacting nature, other pawn strings just round up values, for approximations):

Talents from "Focused Aim" do not add +hit to general +hit in Gear sheet.

It seems that focused aim does not effect pets hit.

I wonder if they really changed it since Beta.

I remember that during testing Focused Aim I had one result where my pet missed about 1% as well, but the other trials he had 0 misses in a few 1000 attacks.

FA not affecting pet hit is consistent with my personal analysis of many days of 10 and 25 man raiding. I posted my own numbers from one night in another thread; glad to see others corroborating my results. Perhaps it did change during beta, but right now, it doesn't seem to affect pet hit.

There's also something really strange about player hit cap as 8% hit gives me zero misses on heroic training dummy. This was with ~4k attacks. When I tried to drop hit to 7.94% I got a miss in 500 shots. I could've been lucky but 4000 is just a number that shouldn't be possible. :/

That's consistent with your other screenshoot.
You had 6.13% hit rating, and your pet had a 1.6% miss chance. Which adds up to about 8%, not 9%
It's over 4000 attacks, and you had 1.6% instead of 2.87% miss chance, which is pretty significant.

Maybe they changed the hit rating needed to "5% base miss + 1% for every level above" or so?

[Edit]: Do pets inherit expertise?
Hunter Pet Scaling 04 - Spell - World of Warcraft seems to suggest that they do. Does anyne have some leftover expertise from quest gear to test it?
I know that it's completely wasted for ranged attacks, but it might well be worth it for BM hunters for example.

im not sure what might be causing this but the spreadsheet says i have 73str 859agi 832sta +1882ap 500crit

both armory and my stats ingame say 83str 889agi 875sta +1880ap 450crit

i dont have any buffs on, not grouped, loaded everything in from armory to the spreadsheet.

I am missing base stats for every race but Night Elves. If you can help me with your base stats I'll add them.

Stats for Nerubian Leg Reinforcements come up as 70 AP, 18 crit. Should be 75 AP, 22 crit.

Small update:

- Some more enchants + corrections to some that have changed since beta
- Spelling corrections
- Added Figurine - Sapphire Owl (2340 mana every 5mins = 39 Mp5)
- Fixed socket bonus on Choker of the Betrayer and Plunderer's Helmet
- Focused Aim no longer benefits pets

I just noticed, but I believe the armor on these bosses are higher than 11990 as in this spreadsheet.
As seen here, the boss armor is believed to be 13083 (basically anything with skull has this armor).
Only thing this will really do is lower our dps, and ArP rating still is a bad stat (1 ArP ~ 5 armor ignored).

Hi I was using version 78b (78c isn't uploaded yet).

I have couple questions as that I came across after playing around with the spreadsheet.

1. Is the stats increase for aspect of the dragonhawk properly coded?
I assumed there will be a dps increase but it didn't change at all so I got confused. I tried looking for where the code for aspect of the hawk was and couldn't find that one either.

2. Currectly I use a cat for my pet and when I change the spreadsheet accordingly the pet's dps seems low. The skills "claw dps", family skill dps", and "KC dps" are all zeros.

This has been reported before as well, but I have been unable to reproduce it. Can you list your non-default settings? Especially the pet rotation.

Thanks, I've been playing around with it more and realized that I can't match the stats with my character's stats.

Anyways my non-default settings are...

No - Use Rotation Test results instead of frequencies (same as default which is weird)
73 - Custom Target Level
7700 - Custom Target Armor

everything else is blank.

For pet rotation,
1 Call of the Wild
1 Rabid
6 Monstrous Bite
11 Bite
0 None
0 None
0 None

To test out if I inputted all my gear correctly I compared it with this profile, but it seems off.

And you use a Cat right? Cats use Claw and Rake, so unless you have your pet set to a Devilsaur this will indeed put Claw Dps and Family Skill DPS at 0.

As for the stats, I don't have the correct level 80 stats for most races yet (Orcs for instance), so it will be off a little bit.

EDIT:
On that note, I'm using the Armory to scour for players of the correct levels to get the stats, since the Armory seems to have the correct ones now, but if anyone has any base stats they wish to share, PM me.
