Needed to cap Hit: seems to be double counting focused aim.
Feature request: better accounting for hit in the gear planner (or perhaps a 3rd +hit mode). this has probably been suggested before, but this is something that shouldn't be too hard to implement (I did it a little with Cheeky's unlocked spreadsheet). Consider the following situation:
With talents and buffs I need 5% hit or 164 hit rating. With no cape I'm at 150 hit rating, and I'm currently wearing [Cloak of the Gushing Wound] (so I'm somewhat above hit cap). When considering upgrades for the cloak, I would consider this to have 14 effective hit rating. To calculate the value of this effective hit rating, compare 163 hit rating vs. 164 hit rating (or maybe 162 and 163), and multiply by 14. Now, when considering replacements, find their effective hit rating which is min(itemhitrating,14).
What's probably more common, is that people are very close to hit rating. In this case, they'd want replacements for items that grant +hit to have equivalent/appropriate weighting for other items with +hit. Meanwhile items that don't grant hit wouldn't weight unreasonably toward items with a lot of +hit. It's sort of a mix between assuming 100% and not, but it should be more accurate for single slot upgrade scenarios across the board.
This is a bug yes. It can be circumvented by setting another weapon then Thor'idal on your gear tab before running the 'Ranged Weapons' button on the Gear Planner. I should have it fixed for next release.
The Dwarf racial should be working, it should show up on the Race line on the Gear tab when you have a gun selected as your weapon.
Yes this is my mistake havent noticed it in racial string.

Just a little question :
How do we manage to save different profiles ?
How can i choose which one to load ?
I mean, i can only save my profile over yours, is it possible to make two profiles ? like the current one and my dream gear one ?
Save the dummy profiles as one of the preset profiles (i.e. Open the Gear tab with Shandara's profile and scroll down the various "None" settings and click save). You should be able to then edit the profiles normally--you can't start a None profile as a blank slate. At least I haven't been able to.
This was confusing me as well until I asked Shandara and was promptly answered (Thanks!).
You can click in any cell on the Overview tab in the Profiles table and name it whatever you want...
Then the actual selection/changing/edit of the profile happens in the Gear tab. In the titles of the columns the one listed by default as Shandara is a dropdown selector if you click on it. Any new profile names you have added, will now appear there and you can choose them.

This is how the current Gear Planner works, it only considers what hit could actually be used when you replace an item. If you are very close to the hit cap any item with a lot of +hit will have 'wasted' a lot of this +hit and so be less of an upgrade.
Hit rating is bugged now in 78d . It seemed to be fine for me in the previous version , even accounting for focused aim. The previous version said I needed 15 hit to be capped which worked out in the sheet. The new version says I need -50 to the cap (showing me over the cap) even though it still shows my hit % against a boss as the same 99.53%. I don't think any change needed to be made. 78d also shows me with more dps than the previous one. Also, the level 80 dummy target is missing.
I have 2 points in focused aim and the sheet is calculating it for 3. Like I said , it worked fine before and carried over to the main page perfectly, now it's off. It also has thrown the gear planner out of whack which was working right before. I'm sticking with 78c.
I see what it's doing now. It's giving 66 hit rating for every point in focused aim instead of the 33 it gave before.
Hit to cap always did take focused aim into account, now it seems to be doing it twice.
Could you unprotect <settings> -> Gem Options, so that it is possible to change the default gemming. I find that I am well over hit cap on my calculations, and having to manually change the gems from vivid to balanced everytime I look at a different piece of gear is annoying.
I also note that I do not seem to be getting any value from my [Meteorite Whetstone]. The crit seems to be taken into account, but not the haste proc.

Use the yellow fields next to them, which are labeled 'custom values'.
Updated:
- Fixed HitRatingToCap
- Depraved Linked Belt spelling corrected
- Sun Scope fixed
- Added every quest/reputation reward to the "non-Raid" filter on the Gear Planner together with all 5-man content gear.

Cool, sorry for the noise. It seems likely that what I'm seeing is just a manifestation of the focused aim bug then (i.e. this exact cloak seems to be devalued because of its hit rating while I'm actually slightly under cap).

Just in case people (like me) have a hard time figuring out where to load profiles.
After you put a name in the in the Profiles Table in the Overview tab you can then load that profile in the gear tab. The drop down box is in Column B, Row 7 and here is a picture.
Hope that helps people find where to save.
I also wanted to inquire, I know for some this Spreadsheet is intuitive, but is there a FAQ in the works? Maybe there is and I just have not found it yet.

Reason: Hit the wrong button! Scrubbed Names!

I believe Drotara over at Less QQ More PewPew will be updating the old Cheeky's guide for Shandara's.

This screenshot is... scary.
How did my name end up in there?
It may have been mentioned but I found this issue today, and I don't know how to debug the Code so I'll leave it to the gurus.
I get run time errors if I do the following:
1. Create Profile in Overview Tab
2. Change Character, Realm and Server settings in the Overview tab.
3. Go to Gear Tab, select the new profile.
4. Click, "Load from Armory"
5. Run Time Errors.
However...no errors if:
1. Create Profile in Overview tab.
2. Change Character, Realm and Server settings in the Overview tab.
3. Leave Shandara as the selected Profile in the Gear Tab.
4. Click "Load from Armory"
5. Gear loads (some problems with items not found or supported)
6. Change Profile from Shandara to new profile created in Step one by accessing the drop down box in Column B, Row 7.
7. Save Profile.
Forgive me if I'm double posting. Do you need a SS of the debug tool?
On the gear planner, if you just have WotLK selected, you get two 5-man necks showing up
I would like to request the ability to turn off 25-man (or heroic) loot for those who are just doing the 10-man route
Trinket Grim Toll only drops in 25-man Naxx not 10-man Naxx
There are some items, like Loatheb's Shadow, that drop in both 10man and 25man instances. Your spreadsheet doesn't handle that at the moment. Perhaps just have the location as 'Naxxramas' so it's clear it'll drop from either.
