In the particular example I'm referring to the gear list is as follows:
- Betrayer of Humanity - Massacre (Two Hand)
- Blue Aspect Helm - Arcanum of Torment - Relentless Earthsiege Diamond (21 Agi) - Glinting Monarch Topaz (8 Agi, 8 Hit)
- Favor of the Dragon Queen - Vivid Forest Emerald (8 Hit, 12 Sta)
- Valorous Cryptstalker Spaulders - Master's Inscription of the Axe - Delicate Scarlet Ruby (16 Agi)
- Drape of the Deadly Foe
- Chestguard of Flagrant Prowess - Powerful Stats - Delicate Scarlet Ruby (16 Agi) - Vivid Forest Emerald (8 Hit, 12 Sta)
- Slime Stream Bands - Fur Lining - Attack Power - Vivid Eye of Zul (10 Hit, 15 Sta)
- Frosted Adroit Handguards - Crusher
- Depraved Linked Belt - Eternal Belt Buckle - Perfect Bright Bloodstone (28 AP)
- Leggings of the Honored
- Icescale Leg Armor - Delicate Scarlet Ruby (16 Agi) - Vivid Eye of Zul (10 Hit, 15 Sta)
- Boots of the Renewed Flight (Greater Assault)
- Surge Needle Ring
- Ring of Invincibility
- Fury of the Five Flights
- Darkmoon Card: Greatness
- Envoy of Mortality (Heartseeker Scope)
Nothing in that least is at all sensitive to proc rates (or should be), so that doesn't seem like a viable explanation.

When i equip those items and add a belt buckle i get this dps:
Vereesa's Silver Chain Belt: 4588.18
Sovereign's Belt: 4590.55
Sovereign's Belt is lower in gear planner but gives a higher DPS. Am i using the gear planner wrong? This is after calculating atrributes.

I believe the gear-planner undervalues hit because it does not count hit past the hunter's own hit cap. In point of fact, hit rating on gear may still contribute to pet hit, even if it does not contribute to hunter hit. I actually found that 1 hit rating gave as much dps as 1 crit rating after maxing my personal hit due to the positive effect on my un-capped pet. This bug primarily relates to BM hunters with the focused aim talent.
All of this, of course, is from my non-visual-basic-savvy point of view, but I believe that's what's happening.
Edit: An alternative or addative cause may be the arpen on Vereesa's belt. I've noticed the gear planner and the spreadsheet proper do not always agree on the value of Arpen, even after calc attributes; the gear planner things the Incisor Fragment, for example, is a top-tier trinket, but plugging it into the spreadsheet proper yields significantly lower results. So in addition to hit rating as a possible culprit, Arpen may be the issue.

That's (a) not much cheaper, and (b) no more legal than pirating unless you're a student.
Openoffice might not be compatible with the logic built into the spreadsheet- there's tons of scripting in there that would essentially have to be rewritten (and updated separately) to port it. If a rewrite happens, it would be better to port the code to something that's built for a project of this complexity like a web page with a database in the background.

Didn't see this in the update list, but Unleashed Rage (BM Tier 3), has also been nerfed to 3/5/9/12/15%.

Hello, I wanted to ask if Grim Toll is implemented correctly in the spreadsheet, as it is waaay below other trinkets, even below TBC ones!
I guess it might not be at the same level of Fury of the Five Flights/Bandit's Insignia/Greatness Card, but its indeed worth more.

Why are they nerfing us? I have been in 10 and 25 mans and have yet to see a Hunter top a damage list. It's always a Death Knight. If there are 3 Death kNights in the raid, they have the top 3 spots. I did 25 man Naxx last night and the top 4 spots were 3 DK's and a mage. The best hunter only managed #4 and had better gear than the DK's. Nerf the Death Knight, not Hunters.
I sure hope some of the changes get filtered out during the PTR testing.

not the place to qq... also, if you haven't seen hunters in top 3 dps for 10/25man naxx.. you run with some horrible hunters.

According to mmo-champion the feral staffs are no longer for druids. They removed the Improves attack power by X in druid only forms. This now makes them viable hunter weapons coming up in the patch, and by the looks at it they are going to be pretty darn good.
For example, compare Journey`s End with Betrayer of Humanity.

Could we get the staffs implemented into the spreadsheet? Thanks.

According to the spreadsheet, spore cloud does not add any damage to my pet's output.
Spore Cloud
Dusts nearby enemies with spores causing [rank] Nature damage every 3 sec for 9 sec and reducing armor by [rank].
So, the rank 6 version for a L 80 spore bat does 22 to 28 damage, and reduces 700 armor.

Spore Cloud isn't implemented. It does, as far as I know, not stack with other armore reducing debuffs which is why I didn't implement it.

Wolverine Bite caused my pet's damage to go down when enabled, which shouldn't be the case. It hits harder than any of the pet's other attacks and doesn't cost any focus, so I can't see why it would lower damage. Some people say it doesn't activate the GCD, but I haven't checked that at all.

Patch 3.0.2 - On Debuffs, Buffs, and Raid Stacking
I'm fairly sure it does stack, but I don't have a druid near by to test with. On a side note, I have its spore cloud set to auto cast, but it never does, not even with full focus. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?
EDIT: I can confirm that the DoT will be applied whether or not Faerie Fire is up, however I'm unsure as to whether or not the Ignore Armor function is being applied in that situation. Is there a way I might be able to test this?

Per the calculations page, Grim Toll averages out to around 100 ArP. You can put in to the hand-adjust fields on the Gear page the same values as that trinket (83 hit, 100 ArP) and get the same results as putting the actual trinket in. So there's nothing broken with the trinket implementation.
It is true that the gear planner undervalues Grim Toll by about 21 dps for some reason but the gear planner is just a guide -- you should always insert your gear into the Gear page for the best estimation of actual dps.

To me that smells more like bad implementation than actual design logic. I'm sure Shandara will fix it?

You and a druid can test it on a beast mob. You an use Beast Lore to see the exact amount of armor a beast NPC has, so if the two stack then you should notice that value go down even further from when the first is applied.

I've found a weird thing with v80. I haven't touched any of the default settings that play around with AotH/DH settings.
On the Calculations panel under Ranged Attack Power:
Aspect of the Hawk: 242.94
Aspect Mastery: 59.02
Shouldn't that be 300 and 90? The reason I ask is because my ingame tooltip ap is 3982 but in the spreadsheet adding those same values up i get 3894.
Edit; This is with buffs "cleared". It looks when I load 80 Raid Buffs its correct with 300 and 90.
