The Hand-Mounted Pyro-Rocket engineering tinker got some changes in the latest PTR build. Its damage was increased, it no longer is on the GCD, and the CD is lowered to 45 seconds. It probably is worth supporting as a dps enchant.
Source: World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> [Feedback] Pyro-Gloves
On another note, Nitro Boots give a passive 16 crit rating in 3.1, so also they too may be worth supporting.

Small bug report: Darkmoon Card: Death is adding additional DPS whether it is equipped or not. At present, (well on my sheet anyway) its an extra 65 dps we shouldn't have in the calculations.

Where does this get added (row & column)? (will probably help Shandara find it)
also, are you sure its not a static value you've found and the actual inclusion would be elsewhere? (I found some of thos myself - that is, calculations for stuff I don't have - be that items or talents)

When attempting to CalcAttributes against a TBC boss (either TBC Boss 1 or TBC Boss 2 presets) The spreadsheet asks to debug with the error: "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" pointing to the following line:
Worksheets("Overview").Range("DPSHitTemp").value = (Worksheets("Calculations").Range("TotalHunterDPS").value - HunterDPS) / HitToCap
in the " ' Check if there was no +hit" calculation.
Edit: This also happens if I manually set the target to lvl 72 in custom options. I would imagine this has to do with the complete lack of needed hit (that we are over cap naked) against a lvl 72 ?

Just a quick question regarding the PTR spreadsheet. You have Bandit's Insignia as a 30 second cooldown. Is this a change that was made on the PTR? Because on live its 45 seconds. Really curious because Bandit's Insignia is now second best in slot, and I'm wondering if I should be passing on this or rolling on it now.

I was kind of wondering the same thing actually. I have MoT and Bandits and have struggled with what to keep paired with Greatness. If this is infact going to be made better it makes the choice that much easier.

He's right,on the calculations tab under Gear + Damage DPS, the Death card is adding in 57.13 to my total and I don't even have one. I guess it would be column Q, row 6.

Bandit's is better than MoT even if the cooldown is 45. In fact, for me, as BM in the new sheet, Bandit's is 16 dps better than Greatness with no buffs applied. With the default 25 man buffs,(which I never come close to getting) Greatness only beats Bandit's by 1.5 dps. With 10 man buffs, Bandit's is better by 12. I will never have Greatness because I will not pay the cost of the deck, so for me the best combo is Bandit's and Grim Toll, which exactly maximizes my hit.
In the Live version sheet Greatness beats out Bandit's but Bandit's still beats MoT. I would like to know, as well, what the actual cooldown of Bandit's is going to be in 3.1.
It should go without saying that for SV, Greatness beats anything, but even in SV, Bandit's beats out MoT handily.

Do you have any idea what changed the calculations for attributes in the last update?
In V86e, AP comes out at 1,065 dps per budget, with agility at 0,883 per budget. No changes to buffs, gear, rotation, pet, target or anything else from 86d.
In V86d Calcattributes comes to 0,687 per agi budget and 0,671 for ap per item budget. Something changed - not only did AP get back above Agi (where it should be from every previous thing) but it increased in value by an enourmous amount almost doubled) - was the calc attributes broken before?

I'm unable to reproduce this. Loading the "Best BM DPS' set and running 'Calculate Attributes', both V86d and V86e end up nearly the same (small differences because I adjusted the BM spec a bit for V86e).
EDIT:
I meant V86d/e instead of V84d/e naturally.

For Surv, Bandit's is only a very small upgrade over MoT. With my gear (very close to BiS) I'm seeing less than 5 dps increase by switching to Bandit's.

So I searched this thread and found a few people asking about my same problem, but no real answers.
I've seen a few people say "you can edit everything you need to". This is Most certainly false.
I'm using Microsoft Excel 2007 and I just downloaded the most recent spreadsheet. However the ONLY cells I can edit is the "Custom Values" in the Settings tab. I'm unable to change the character name/server cell and most certainly can't click "Load Gear From Armory" in the Gear tab. It insists I need to unprotect the sheet and when I attempt to it asks for a password.
Love the spreadsheet, and I appreciate the work you guys are doing. I just wish I could use it =(
Help?

This sounds like a security issue. Some people have reported that Windows marks the sheet as being from the 'internet' and thus disables a lot of things it wants to do. Also, Excel might not have the proper macro security level set (it should be set to low) which prevents the use of any buttons.

I've already unblocked it in Properties, and I just tried setting the macro settings and neither of those worked. It is still insisting I unprotect the worksheet with a password in order to change values (such as the character name and server to load gear from the armory.)

There seems to be a minor bug related to The Undeath Carrier in the newest version. It doesn't show up in the Gear Planner, though, when I equip it manually, it is a dps increase. Current weapon is Cryptfiend's Bite.

@Slaythem:
I've double-checked, but all the proper fields on the Overview tab are editable for me. I wonder if Excel 2007 is the culprit (since I use 2003), but that'd be a first since I know quite a few people use the sheet with 2007 without problems.
@Conscience:
Have you run the 'Calculate Attributes' button and resorted the Gear Planner? For me, the Undeath Carrier is on the list but gets pushed out of the top-10 once I enable Ulduar gear. If it's a dps increase for you but not on the gear planner top-10 it's most likely you need to update the list first (by running the attribute macro and sorting afterwards).

@Slaythem:
I run excel 2007 and I save the spreadsheet into a folder that is trusted by excel in terms of macro use.
When I first open the spreadsheet it is read-only. Only after I save (and I save down to 2003 not 2007 format). close, and reopen am I able to begin my studies.
PM me if you still have issues so as not to derail this thread.

I noticed that in the latest version of the spreadsheet Kibler's Bits are still listed as 30 str/stam- on the latest PTR patch they are only 20 str/stam.

Is there a way to use the buttons in this sheet on macs? For example I can't get it to run my rotation or upload profiles.
Thanks!

I've never been able to. Some stuff kinda worked in Office 2004, but it's completely broken in Office 2008 since they removed VBA. They're supposedly going to put it back in for the next release.

Shandara I think I figured out Black Arrow's damage equation. I posted the long version of how I figured out the equation here but the short version is:
Total Damage = (AP * 0.1 + Base) * [Black Arrow Modifier * Imp Tracking * (Trap Mastery + T.N.T. + Sniper Training)]
Where:
1) AP is the larger of the two Attack Powers, Melee or Ranged.
2) Black Arrow Modifier is found via the following equation:
Black Arrow Modifier = AP / 225000 + 1 (Basically BA affects itself at a rate of 1% per 2250 AP)

I've been trying to import talent specs from wowhead's PTR site, but apparently only live site is accepted.
Last attempted in 86e with this url:
ptr . wowhead.com/?talent=cZ0eVoobZe00i0cIhxdAhsu
I figure it's a minor change to let it understand both www . wowhead . com and ptr.wowhead.com but I might be wrong.
Thanks for all your work with this, it's highly appreciated.
Edit: spelling and extra spaces in URLs to suppress bloody auto-code generator :s
