This idea could also be spread to the Gem section, and I think it's fair by now to exclude all pre-Wrath and green gem cuts (aside from Shifting, seeing as theres no rare version.)

Flipping through the gem list looking for something I'm not sure about the name of is one of the most annoying parts of the spreadsheet. Not asking to re-invent the wheel, but I don't think anyone in their right mind is going to use old-world gems. I'm sure the same can be said for enchants as well.

Changes to the gem, enchant and food list would probably remove a good amount of bloat from the spreadsheet.

It's probably been brought up before, but incase it hasn't I just noticed that the 1% crit to bows Troll racial isn't accounted for in the spreadsheet, or at least it isn't in the gear planner.

It is displayed on the 'race' line on the Gear tab if you are a dwarf with a gun or a troll with a bow. But you are correct that it is not considered when comparing upgrades on the Gear Planner.

As for the food/gems' names being confusing. I agree. I'll have to think about how to do this in the best way.

Agreed, though please keep the green Northrend gems in. The green Northrend gems are better than the epic (and even the JC only iirc) TBC gems, however the difference between green northrend gems, perfect northrend gems and blue northrend gems are minimal.
Apart from being a hunter who doesn't want to spend several hundred gold gemming a subpar piece (not that I really have those anymore) I also wouldn't suggest an applying hunter to go all out if the gear is set to be replaced within a few runs - we are very low on the hunters, shaman and warriors and due to the rate of new characters in this grouping we can almost guarantee that these characters will get new gear if they don't have better from somewhere else already.

I'll admit I still use green gems too, mostly because of the expenditure of the blue ones, and the difficulty of finding a jewelcrafter that can cut them (I am lucky I have a JC character too, but the token system makes it a looong trip to pick up all the gems that are needed).

Shandara, is there any way to implement the benefits for Mixology? I know it may be more difficult, but it would be nice to have a little yes/no menu that would then show the benefits for elixirs/flasks as a result of having Alchemy as a profession.

As I was testing the effects of changing Serpent Sting priority for my future Survival shot rotation, I noticed that I'm getting the same exact total DPS having Serpent Sting prioritized before Explosive Shot and Aimed Shot as opposed to directly before Steady Shot. I don't want to debate which priority is best, but just want to point out that the damage bonus from Noxious Stings doesn't seem to be tied to Serpent Sting uptime.

The "priority" queue simply adds the DPS of each shot together, it's not actually using a priority system for determining the DPS listed there. When you test out your rotation, it uses the priority queue to see what it would look like, but positioning the shots doesn't have any effect on DPS.

I've always been sceptical of Rabids uptime based on what I've seen on on test dummies so I went and did some testing.

Firstly, do special attacks trigger Rabid Power (the stacking buff)?

The only clear cut way was to use a ranged special attack so the only attack that hit a target was the special attack. The result: Nothing. Using lava breath only on the target with Rabid up, I got no Rabud Power buff.

Second, is Rabid Power really a 50% chance?

For each Rabid buff duration, I counted the number of hits during the buff and what stack it got to. I then added the total number of hits and compared it to the total number of Rabid Power triggers. The result: Around 35% chance to trigger Rabid Power.

Now granted I only did ~350 hits, but the results look interesting. Can anyone else check this as this would impact the spreadsheet calculations.

Would it be possible to unlock the "Default gems" section? It's a great option, but it's kinda stupid that it's locked since at least for me it's set to entirely wrong gems.

You can edit the column next to it and if you set the switch on top of that worksheet to not use defaults, then it should use any custom entered values in the lighter colored column.
