I just got a question about how you calculate the DPS you gain from items. According to the spreadsheet I would gain 41.4 DPS if I get Valorous Cryptstalker Handguards, but comparing the stats I only gain 26 AP and 5 Intellect for the loss of 13 Agility. For the info I got Grotesque Handgrips now.

You're currently 1/5 T7. The 2 piece bonus is what's giving you the 40-50 dps increase. If you already had 2/5 T7 the grotesque handgrips would be better (as the gear planner would reflect).

There appears to still be an issue with calculating hit rating past 100%. I was doing some enchant and gem swaps but I noticed that in my setup if I were to switch [Arcanum of Ferocity] with [Arcanum of Torment] and replace the [Wicked Monarch Topaz] with a [Item not found!] the dps is lower using Torment and Rigid vs Ferocity and Wicked even though there's a 12 crit increase by using the former.

The proc rate may indeed by 50%, but something else may prevent a proc from occuring, or something else that limits how often it can proc. It could also be bugged in numerous other ways hence why I asked if people saw the same results I did, especially with regards to specials triggering it.

This is a good catch but I think it is misdiagnosed. From what I can tell this can be tracked to a bug with Arcanum of Ferocity. It looks like it's adding a static haste component (compare Calculations!H22 with and without it) and this is boosting your auto shot dps (you're already capped for steady shot).

I think this haste should be attributed to the Arcanum of Rapidity, but it's still incorrect. Wowhead currently says it's 10 haste rating, whereas this spreadsheet seems to use 1% static haste.

Item against item though, I still think the T7.25 gloves are better than Grotesque - They are in my spreadsheet and have been for as long as I can remember. The 2p bonus really does bump those tiered pieces up though.

It would be nice if when importing from the armoury, it also added the gathering skill bonus as I always forget to add it. I also believe that it should be saved in the profile. Same with target selection.

This is a little outside the scope of this thread, but yes I generally recommend that folks hang onto their epics, for at least one tier's worth of content, and especially for pieces of equal item level. There are often pieces that are big upgrades, but only if you are flexible with the other gear slots you have (e.g. switching out Leggings of Failed Escape and Valorous Leggings).

I'll do some testing myself when I get the chance, but my initial thought is that it is only a 50% on successful attacks, and pets are not expertise capped. That's probably not enough to cause a 15% difference in uptime but it would make some difference.

It's pretty minor, bould could you add Arcane Torrent for Blood Elves? Should be pretty easy to implement, it restores 6% of max mana on a 2 minute cooldown, and isn't on the GCD.

I am fighting the lvl 60 dummies and got no misses, parries or dodges.

I did another round using a different pet (level 80 cat as opposed to lvl 75 core hound in the earlier test) and got 33% proc rate. Most bizzarre.

I second this. Just over the hit cap with Torment, but when I switch to Arcanum of Ferocity the dps doesn't even drop. Also, steadyshot cooldown on the Shot Rotation tab drops to 1.43s from 1.45s when I do the switch.

Edit: I'm getting inconsistent behavior. Maybe it's another buff that's interacting with it?

Blacksmith bug ?

Apologies if it's the wrong place to post a possible bug report about the spreadsheet.

I'm Blacksmith and thus can put a socket in my bracers but apparently the spreadsheet doesn't see it from the armory and doesn't let me add a socket manually. I'm using Slime Stream Bands and i guess the spreadsheet doesn't let me add a second socket as there's already one in.

As has been mentioned, the solution/simulation of the additional socket is to manually put the value of the Gem you have in the socket in the Hand Adjust row.
