Lots to work on here. First, you should probably familiarize yourself with the forum rules, as these sorts of posts are frowned-upon.

Having said that:

1) Download the spreadsheet (look for the thread in this forum). Learn how to use it. Ultimately, almost any talent, gearing, or shot rotation question can be answered by "what if" analysis in the spreadsheet.

2) You've got a lot of pretty poor gem/enchant choices on your gear. The spreadsheet will give you details, but basically, you should gem/enchant for hit until you are hit-capped (263) and then for agility. Given that agility is red, and hit is yellow, you should almost never need any tri-color gems in your gear (so get rid of the resist all and +all to stats).

I have scanned the entire thread and have not found an answer to this question:

Can anyone confirm if Mirror of Truth and Darkmoon Card: Greatness share a common internal cool down?

The reason why I am asking is that I was noticing last night that whenever Reflection of Torment was up Darkmoon Card: Greatness would not proc. I was under the impression that they do not share the same internal cool down.

No, they don't share the internal cooldown.

Hello,
i was wondering at what amount of raid dps its usefull to specc 1 hunter of the raid BM because of Ferocious Inspiration (Ferocious Inspiration - Spell - World of Warcraft), so the dps drop of the hunter himself is balanced by the push of raid dps.
Thanks for answers

Simply put, none if your raid already has a ret pally. Sanctified Retribution will provide the same effect without lowering the contribution to the raid of your producing better personal DPS, and will be up 100% of the time.

If you don't have a ret pally in your raid then it's a different story and the answer is group make-up specific.

Remember a ret pally brings the same 3% buff and is generally a better source than a BM hunter (its an aura, not a proc based buff, and they don't have to spec into a sub standard spec to bring it).

If you don't have a ret pally though, having a hunter spec BM will be very dependant on the hunters skill, and the encounter. If the hunter can keep the pet alive and DPSing 100% of the time, then it will be almost always better to bring a BM than SV. This also assumes that you are getting your replen from somewhere else as well.

For non-so pet friendly fights (where they have to be pulled out alot), or if the hunter can't keep their pet up, then its really going to depend on the fight (or more specificly, the up time of FI)

edit: too slow.

If it ain't broke, don't screw with it. If you already screwed with it, blame someone else.

Ok maybe i am having an issue finding this, or have just skimmed past it searching through the hundred's of posts.

Does anyone know if the T8 Set bonus is on an ICD or not? I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I've searched here and maybe im just searching the wrong area but there only seemed to be assumptions. Google didnt produce much success either.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time

According to Wowhead (which one should use before google?) the internal CD is 45 seconds. I do not have proven this ingame though.

Item - Hunter T8 4P Bonus - Spell - World of Warcraft

Yes but according to that, it seems the comments are assumptions.. And it was a generalized "Well assuming it has an internal CD"

What i'd like to know is if anyone has any actual proof of it, i don't have any set bonus at the moment so i can't test it.

Since 3.1 hit I've had no clue what specc are top dps and for even longer then that, pvp speccs has been even more confusing. Now I know this ain't exactly PvP forums, and I'm gonna ask at Arenajunkies aswell, but I just thought i'd check here first. PvE first though!

PvE
What specc is top dps? Is it Survival or Marksmanship? Some say Surv is best until you reach a certain gearlevel, and then MMS is better. Where is that line drawn? What speccs and glyphs should I be using?
My armory: The World of Warcraft Armory

PvP
Same goes for PvP, what specc and glyphs should I be using? Generally Surv seems to be most used, but MMS has a lot of utility, and so do BM aswell. I just keep getting so much options, please go back to BC with faceroll 41/20/00 specc

I am currently survival specced, but have gone far enough down the MM tree to get Aimed shot.

My question is this, should I use Aimed Shot or Multi Shot in a single target fight?

I have seen mentioned that Multi Shot is good .... but I am assuming that against a single target, only ONE of the three shots will strike ..... is this correct?

Help please - I am a little confused

If you're specced for it, use Aim over multi for one target. It benefits from Sniper Training unlike multi.

Against a single target aimed and multi are the same base damage, multi just costs more mana. Aimed shot is modified by sniper training so when that buff is up aimed does 6% more damage for a lower mana cost than multi shot.

I'll let you do the math, but aimed is more for less on one target, anything more then go multi (unless there is CC or you need the debuff).
