Are you able to post a screenshot of your UI in a full raid environment? I like to see how 'busy' the screen gets when things get hot. I'm in the process of redoing my UI at the moment and have found some great ideas so far, thanks all.

I found a HUGE flaw with my UI. I don't have anywhere to put ToT. With the raid I don't really need to see many people so, I would just stick a minimalist Grid on the left hand side somewhere.

I did a rough version of TimeToOom here. It uses the same algorithm as TimeToDie did, so the result may be a bit rough, but it's a starting point and can be fine tuned.

Are those pitbull raid frames? Can you download them without getting the whole pitbull pack?

i noticed you have omnicc yet the bosses debuffs dont have cooldowns over them. how did you manage to do that?

I've noticed this thread starting to slide in usefulness. Let me clarify: Please do not post your UI and a list of addons you use unless you believe you have something original or useful to show people. If you do, then explain it.

Also, find a way to use thumbnails for large images. It makes the thread more readable.

I'm a big fan of simplicity, and symetry. I like things to be as simple as they can while also being very clean. As BM you'll want clear view of your pet's health as he is a huge portion of your dps, so I opt'd to have his unitframe as large as my own. The large, long frame in the center is my target. Debuffs going up.

I like to keep it simple. Hopefully someone with similar taste finds my UI useful in their own building process.

Recount opens up in top left corner, party frames top middle, omen right off the middle frame block and minimap top right corner just below the buffs.

There are a lot of other options, but one alternative I happen to like is ForteXorcist.

That does look really good.
Think I'm going to "borrow" some of the things you have there.
Only question I have is if the buffbar is movable.

edit, more questions: where does the vehicle stuff pop up (the controlling of dragons for malygos etc) and where's the petbar?

This is a slightly older version of what I'm using now [gonna update this with a better screenie when I can get home] - some inspiration taken from a few nice UI's I've seen and then just reworked for my tastes.

I've since added a debuff/buff tracker called NeedToKnow which I REALLY like alot and helps me track things easier then staring at debuff timers.

I'm not totally 100% pleased with everything yet but I find this UI is both clean, effective and just looks snazzy to me

Self buffs are controlled by buffalo if you mean that. You can freely move them and make buffs grow down/ap with how ever many rows you want.

Vehicle buttons replace my only visible action bar. It also uses my own keybindings so say if I want to use engulfing flames on Malygos that'll be G11's keyboards G18 button. :p

Pet bar shows up when I mouse over it in the bottom right corner. I only really need to see it if I want to turn autocasts off or on hence it's not visible.

Haven't done much posting here, but I do a ton of reading. Thought I would share my UI since I recently did an overhaul.

Not completely done, but it's close. A really old version of Ryas' UI was a loose inspiration for this one. Omen is normally in the top right gradient in the SS but does not display for dummies. Both the gradient frame and Omen fade out when not in combat

I use the addon "Nudge" for my range display. It is green when in melee range, blue when in ranged range, and red when out of range. It is very simple and scalable. I have it located right above my target information.

Here is my UI during a 10-man Naxx from a few weeks ago. I am in the process of whittling down my UI a bit to increase my frame rate during some encounters. I have redundant information coming from multiple addons. I welcome any ideas as to how to simplify my current design.

For Action Bars, I'm currently using Bartender4. But it's kind of irritating when i switch between PvE and PvP because I have to change the entire set up manually. Is there some other way to solve this problem, or an alternative add-on that i can try.

Also, I have an alternate. I realise that they share the key bindings to the action bars. i.e. When i change Bar1 Button 1 to E on my hunter, Bar1Button1 of my mage changes as well. Again am I missing some higher level function? I tried profiling. It only seems to be able to allow my characters to have different action bar appearance, if you get what I mean.

Couple of ways of doing it. Create separate profiles and character specific keybinds, I believe both are options in Bartender4, if not, Dominoes definitely does it. Also, for switching from pve to pvp keybinds etc, an addon called "Simple Action Sets" will save your bars, abilities and keybinds for you in a profile and set it all up for you automatically.

By creating two profiles, two characters can have independent bar setups and binds. Hope that helps, good luck.
