Resolution is set at 1920x1200, thats what I'm most worried about :S

Awesome, I'm going to play with it now. 1900x1200 isn't a problem because that's exactly what I'm playing with too.

I was using Faceshooter before instead of Faceroller, since FS contains the aspect watch thing that you are now considering using a different addon for. Is that on purpose?

To be completely honest, my officer told me try that one out and I didn't give it much thought. But now that you mention it faceshooter does have quite more downloads so I will give it a look and get back to you on that matter

EDIT: allright been testing it and I can see why you recommended it. It is a nice variation and has some useful options; I specially like the chance to display both the skill you have to use and the one that's coming up, and the integrated aspect watch.

Only problem is that it's using more than double the memroy faceroller is, and about 6 times CPU usage. Will keep testing thought and get back to you with a final decision.

EDIT 2: well I've running tests and the dual display function for current skill and next skill has the problem of being distracting; aside from that both addons are fairly similar except for the aspect recommendations. However, memory wise faceshooter could go up to 4 times the same amount of faceroller, and CPU wise it's around .16-.17% in my case, whereas faceroller was using .02-0.03% . Gonna stick with Faceroller and aspectwatch combo.

Tried both tonight in TOTGC and only saw about 2x the memory use, but yes -- FS is definitely heavier than FR+AW separately.

I'm going to try and get them all together, remove the deprecated addon and replace it's functionality with the three new ones, update all of them, and, if it works, do a repackage. Fingers crossed :-)

EDIT: Eek. That didn't work too well. The unit frames for the target are in the Threat part of Skada, the KGPanels are off the screen, and Dominos places a useless second bar over the first one that toying with profiles can't seem to get rid of. All of this is at 1920x1200 too, weird...

FaceShooter and FaceRoller do different things, that's why the former takes more memory and CPU. FS is constantly calculating the current expected damage of each of your abilities based on your current stats/buffs/debuffs/talents/glyphs, and trying to pick the strongest one, with a few things hard coded (like wanting to sting before chimera, wait between LnL ES, etc.), and also calculating how long the target has to live - FR is running through some fixed logic to recommend shots in a fixed priority, which takes much less processing. The latter is theoretically much less accurate too, but so long as you make sure the priorities it's set on are actually accurate for you in the general case, it will probably net you similar DPS.

Before panicing... have you turned on UI scaling and set it to min scaling?

PD: the doubled bar dominos profile was on my warrior alt, try loading the hunter one which is the one I got on the screens, and if that fails I'll have to repack it and reupload it with the hunter settings.

Héadshots UI.

Well heres my UI. It's been highly influenced by the vast majority in which i've seen on this website. I loved the dark panels on the side, so i used to them for mine- Note: They're darker then they appear.
I've always like the visual advantges from which clean, sharper UI bring, i can't stand to have my screen clogged up with random things and most often not required and which will partially deminish a raiders abilites. This screenshot was taken purely for visual purposes and does not reflect upon any kind of dps.

Addons:

- Xperl.
- Recount.
- Omen (Not shown).
- OmniCC.
- Quartz.
- ButtonFacade.
- Lock 'n' Load buddy.

**I may of forgotten a few.

Same base UI as my others. trimmed the fat a bit with extraneous addons.

Idle:

Combat:

Addons
Pitbull
EventHorizon (Modded by me)
Bartender
Bison
Recount
Prat
Sexymap
KGpanels

All combat related information is on the right, all noncombat/nonessential information is on the left. Everything is key bound save for a few exceptions. One of the reasons I trimmed down my Ui was the comment a few who use my UI have made that the right column of information can become a blind spot. The frames are for the most part transparent and much smaller in screen space real-estate so to speak now.

Kind of a mess these days as most of the stuff on the edges i just click with the mouse and im so used to them being there that i have left them.

The main thing i like is that when i am in combat the 5 buttons that form the + sign appear for the shots i use in raid. I started this back during the Sarth days of the hard to see void zone. My eyes can stay focused there and i see the CD's and the count of when its on the target and for how long. Mapped to 4,5,6 on the number row. T is Black arrow and F4 is KillShot. Works for me so i have just kept it the same. I use Pwr Auras with audible and visual alerts for things that affect the fights. All work so i can keep my eyes on the + and anything else gets caught by peripheral very easily.

Do you have a link for a recent version of your UI? I looked around on your blog and the most recent post with a download link was May-ish.

I no longer release my UI because of the volume of emails I get asking for help configuring addons related to it.

I'm Looking for an addon that can track my trinket cooldowns. I looked at Heatsink but it doesn't track DV so I want to try to find a new one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
