Cowtip is an excellent customisable tooltip mod. You can alter the location and content of the tooltip - I'm sure you could turn most, if not all, options off.

The cast bar also goes on top of my mana bar, as well as the target's mana bar, which makes it easy to read, as well as not take up any more space.
Omen is easily visible, as well as recount. My timers are very visible, as well as my party's HP. I tried to make my UI as clean as possible, without sacrificing too much.

Ryas I just want to say I've liked your UI the most, not too cluttered, simplistic and information readily found near the your character on the screen. A question for you though, the party information (bottom of screen), self bar (on left of char) and target bar (right of character), is that all provided by PitBull? I've downloaded PitBull and it looks vastily different to your frames, it's very confusing too. I'm redoing my whole UI and going to use your's as a starting template.

Couple of questions:
1. Where do you display group/raid frames?
2. Which mod do you use for the black skin at the bottom?
3. Is Opie intrusive or valuable?
4. What do you use for buff bars?

1. Will Post a SS later when I have raid frames up.
2. No idea, Im using a UI compilation found here : The Onslaught User Interface : WoWInterface Downloads : Generic Compilations ( with some tweaks of my own )
3. So far I like Opie alot, saves me alot of button space and hence screen space.
4. Satrina buff frames.

answer is given at survival section i copy pasted from there for u and thx a lot who wrote it coz it helped me a lot too

I was able to add the Lock and Load trigger to MSBT . You can enlarge the font quite a bit, change the color and add a sound.
Edit: for those who need help with adding a custom trigger to MSBT:
type /msbt to open the config window, go to the "Triggers" tab and press "Add New Trigger". Give it a name, like LnL. Scroll all the way down, your new trigger is at the bottom. Click on the yellow square in the front to change the color.
Then click on the white gear click "Add Event", the default Aura Application is what we need. Click on the icon before "Skill Name" and write in the parameter box: "Lock and Load". Press Save three times.
Now click on the blue "A", here you can change the font settings to your liking (fex increase the font size). And with the 3rd icon you can set the area it should place the message, the message text, a sound and an icon. I don't use icons myself, so I don't know how that works.
Your LnL trigger should work now.
The sound only works if your turn "Enable Sounds" in the general tab. This will also enable other sounds you might not like, you can turn them off by going to the low mana & low health triggers.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what buff mods people use, in raid I find that it just becomes too big an area consumed by raid buffs and would really like something to more effectively manage that. Right now I use Elkano buffs mod but it STILL goes the entire vertical length of my screen in buffs mid-fight.

Personally I like default buffs, or Satrina's Buff Frames if you don't keep your mini-map in the top right corner of your screen, or want your buffs to go vertically rather than horizontally.

You can set EBB to show/hide certain buffs/debuffs with the white list and black list options, so that you're not overwhelmed by buffs mid-fight. Generally this works well if you white/black list your procs (trinkets, talent procs, etc.), but you'd have to find a new way to monitor your procs. Generally any SCT program you use will have a modifier to show them, but it'd be up to you to determine how best to monitor those temporary buffs.
For what it's worth, MSBT has a display section specifically for this type of monitoring (Notification). It will, by default, display any procs that it is designated to monitor. You may want to consider this as an option to selecting a new buff mod.

Ryas, what buttonfacade skin are you using?
And what texture is that on your Pitbull frames? It's brighter than most, and I like it. Thanks.

I use the Caith button facade setting, as well as the Hal M texture for everything.

Ryas, how do you get Class Timer to show Explosive? I tried making a custom timer by entering it in, but it didn't seem to work.

It works for me. I just put in the debuff name as Explosive Shot. Are you sure you have your target enabled?

Very strange - it wasn't working last night when I installed and was trying it on the target dummy, but today it works fine. Thanks.

(Yes, yes, pretty pitiful dps in my new talent tree. I wasn't dancing enough.)
Clearly I seek the award for most clutter. :-( I need to clean and reduce. Badly. I usually have two or maybe even three ways of seeing something happen. That's just nuts.
I my defense I had just converted over to SV from years of BM (like 20mins prior) and needed something quick and big to see LnL.

I'm also curious WHAT values you're displaying in there. I'm guessing health, mana, pet health?, pet focus? Other stuff? Target health/focus? Can it display debuffs like SrS and ES?

That's a pretty weak defence against that UI (no offence to you). But that is just ugly... Even as BM it was like that was it? Yuck.
My favourite UI (that isn't my own one (which I will post a little pic of soon)) is Kithicor's UI. It's clean and crisp and displays things beautifully. Maybe you should take a look (He posted a few pages back I believe).

I actually just got a new machine, and started with a fresh install recently. So I had a chance to kind of start over and make some key changes.
Since I just respecced surv, I wanted some good ways to track LnL and ES timers... Also to make sure I have sting and HM up on the target...
So thanks to the surv thread, I came up with a combo of Power Auras Classic and Needtoknow...
Also using Xperl, Khuntertimers, Zhunter and all the other usuals... I realize that in reality, khunter shows it all, but I wanted something more in your face, and well redundancy never hurt anyone.
I just made a quick vid today showing off the aura for LnL and the bar for ES to not clip them... Figured this a good place to show it off
For reference, Auras - Red, on top - Hunter's Mark, Green underneath - Serpent Sting, Middle - pink exclamation mark, Explosive Shot. These auras show these abilties are available, and not currently applied to the target. and of course the orange that pops up on the sides is LnL. The timer bar for ES is Needtoknow.

It's still a work in progress; it sets out to do what pretty much every other UI tries to do. I'm trying to keep it minimalistic and would love suggestions/input. I'm considering doing away with party frames to make more room on the screen, but i almost feel like they need to be there. I've also debated getting rid of scrolling combat text for taking up room on the screen, but again; I'm undecided.
The visible addons:
Xperl Unit Frames (Raid frames)
Bartender 4 (Buttons)
Button Facade (Button skin)
Satrina Buff Frames (Buff frames)
Omni CC (Timers on buttons)
Power Auras (The cross hair for LnL triggers)
Omen 3 (Threat meter)
Recount (Damage meter)
SunnArt (Big thing where all my buttons lay)
Mik's Scrolling Battle Text (Combat text)
Quartz (Cast bar + on screen timers)
Sexy Map (Map)
