Nah, power auras is showing LnL. The ES bar is Needtoknow. I'll go back and edit my post, I just realized I had it wrong. I also tried Tellmewhen and just had them confused. It's similar but buttons instead of timer bars. I did some more tweaking, but it's mostly cosmetic, that vid was literally just a test, and info I've been sharing with my guildie hunters.
It appears to be exactly what Daemous is using in his uber cluttered screenshot as well.

this is what im looking at atm... tho ive changed some small things to the looks of grid and recount in the late hours yesterday ... Might upload a new one when im totally happy with the looks.
I do loose allot of fps atm, and im searching where its comming from (got about 5-7 fps in fights  )

Does anyone have a decent way to see or gauge their SV Replenishment uptime? Either viewing it visually in a mod (like Needtoknow) or a WWS? I can get all other buffs and debuffs fine in Needtoknow, except Replenishment. It stops after its first course. If it is renewed before it ends it gets confused.
With WWS views, I can't seem to separate it out from other sources.
I have a I'd like to go to 2/5 in hunting party, but want to see the effect it has.

I've made some changes to my addon setup and it's working well enough for me that I thought I'd share it (no screenshots, sorry) and see if anyone can help me with my last nagging issue.
I think I've tried most of the various addons folks suggested and ended up drawing a few conclusions:
* For me, cooldown/dot timer bars just don't work. I just can't parse the information quickly enough to take action (rules out NeedToKnow).
* Animations around my character just aren't close enough to where my eye is focused and end up being too hard for me to see when the action is heavy (rules out PowerAuras)
* My scrolling combat text is too busy to try to embed important information in there (SCT/Mik's).
I've arrived at a combination of two addons:
* TellMeWhen
* Quartz
For TellMeWhen, I use two rows of four buttons -- one row above the other. I place both rows right next to the boss, so I can keep his casting bar and target in sight while I'm looking at the buttons. This whole mess is placed at the top of my screen so that I have a mostly clear view of general action around me. Each of my TMW rows has four buttons, organized in pairs (each pair corresponds to a single ability):
* Explosive Shot - top row button shows when it is off cooldown. Bottom row button shows when it is *on* cooldown (with countdown timer).
* Aimed Shot - top row button shows when it is off cooldown. Bottom row button when it is on cooldown (with timer)
* Serpent Sting - top row button shows when the target doesn't have _my_ sting on it. Bottom row shows when it does (with timer).
* Hunter's Mark - top row button shows when target doesn't have _any_ mark on it. Bottom row shows when it does (with timer).
Basically, I then play "whack a mole" against the buttons of the top row, prioritizing from left to right. When no buttons on the top row are showing, I cast a steady shot. The countdown timers on the bottom row allow me to be a little smart about this, slightly delaying for higher priority things coming off cooldown imminently and to pre-position my fingers appropriately. With this setup, I've found that I don't need LnL notification -- since ES stays off cooldown, the LnL is obvious. I need only insert the short delay before casting the next ES and I'm golden.
Below my TMW buttons, I put a Steady Shot cast bar (from Quartz). This let's me properly time the next ability after the SS.
The only thing missing from this wonderful setup (which I've really beginning to love and am using on my Feral Druid and my Shadow Priest as well) is a GCD timer. Quartz supposedly has one, but I can't get it to work (e.g., I never see a spark). Does anyone either:
a. Know the magic sauce for getting the Quartz GCD timer to work
or
b. Have a better solution for a (movable) cast bar + GCD timer
?

Thanks mate.
I've never seen it configured like that before but will take a stab at it. Did you use a premade profile for the pitbull settings?

Ive seen them configured like this somewhere on the official forums, adepted it a bit to my own likings
Its something with the portrait, u put it as "middle" instead of left or right, and select the 3D option. If you stretch your bars pretty whide, u get something like I posted. I changed my ui a bit more yesterday, so I´ll update when i find some time

here's the one I'm using atm:
I was using a UI designed to fit all the stuff on the bottom of the screen, but I felt that most of my skills could be keybinded and hidden, so I'm trying this out. There are 3 bars hidden with all skills not shown there keybinded, and I just keep 2 bars to show the CDs on main skills. This provides me with more free space to follow combats. The location of my Unitframes is also done to meet that standard, to allow me to move while having both my hp and the enemies closer. It is intended for PvE purposes though, just to be clear.
To make it a bit nicer I have changed the default font and nearly all bars are the same texture, Healbot.
In between the UnitFrames is where Quartz's cast bar appears with the target's debuff scrolling up. As survival that lets you see when Aimed shot is gonna wear off (meaning the CD is finished), when Explosive is up while doing L&L rotations, and when serpent and mark are gonna wear off the target. And all this info is close enough to the bars as for you to also quickly glance at the cooldown of explosive shot.

I'm not sure if I'm happy with Xperl unit frames, I could make them a lot nicer with Pitbull. It's not as minimalistic as it could be, but it does the job.
I wanted to work Grid into the bottom panels somewhere, but it didn't look good when I was in a party or soloing, so I just use XPerl raid frames. They just sit below my unit frame.

I originally had my aura for HM set to show when cast by me. We run with at least 2 and sometimes up to 4 hunters in 25's. I realized since noone is running an imp HM anymore (we had one MM for awhile testing TSA for the raid) and I had to make sure to keep up a regular one too, since they both could be applied.
The point being, I get my HM warning when MY HM is not up, but anothers is. Solution, simply uncheck that option. Will just make sure HM is up on the target period.
Just a note to anyone monitoring HM with anything, like auras, like me. It took me a few fights before I realized, (I was a little off that night  what was going on, 10 seconds into the fight and I'm like, I thought I put HM up!>??
As regards to not liking XPERL, give it some time playing with it, It was a little overwhelming at first just how much you can customize it. Yeah it's not as 'simple' as pitbull, but I think that's why most like it. All the info you could need and more.

I like things as clean as possible without losing functionality, and I am pretty happy with this. My bags and options bar are on mouse-over along the right side of the screen for easy access.

After the debarcle that became of my ui back in TK/SSC days with addons galore ontop of the standard Blizz UI, my mantra has been to keep my UI as simple as possible. I currently use Spartan UI, having fallen in love with its sleek look and practical layout.
I work my addons around SUI; BigWigs bars being at the top of the screen, recount meter opening in top left, recount realtime dps meter opening in the top right (if needed). I use Quartz for my castbars and debuff timers and Power Auras Classic for my cd's and LnL procs. The White runic circle shows the CD of my Aimed Shot, the red design within the white showing me when LnL procs, and the crossed swords at the bottom showing the CD of my Explosive Shot. In the bottom right is Omen and just left of that is my range display. QH, as shown in this picture, is hidden in a raid environment of course. I do not use Gird or the like as I dont think I need to see raid members in a combat situation; target and target of target is plenty.
As mentioned, I try to keep what i need to see minimal and towards the center of my screen. What I feel my UI lacks however is a decent buff mod and an intuitive but discrete combat text mod, as I think that while the standard Blizz combat text has served me well, I could use something a little more in line with SUI, and SUI's buff bar just doesn't cut it for me. I just don't want alot of text and buff bars clogging up my screen.
So my question to the community (in particular SUI users) is: what combat text mods and buff mods are recommended for a simplistic raiding UI?

BTEX for the grey mosaic part.
Skinner for the boxes and smoked glass look overlay.
The skin used with btex I created myself thou.

I was having this very same problem in a few of the more dance oriented fights.
I picked up Dominoes to move my buttons into my focus range. I just fade out everything--to varying degrees--of everything that I don't need to know. Aspects, Pet controls, etc. Also PowerAuras does have limited Audible alerts as well--I use the Auction house sounds for LnL procs. I recently added the IceHUD after using it for my DK. Haven't quiet perfected it's settings yet, but it does allow me to see when ES is ticking. Recount, Grid and Omen let me get a glimpse of what everyone else is doing when I get a spare nanosecond.
Our RL always has DBM or BW on announce so I don't run either of those.

I've been using SUI recently and like the concept. I'm going to go back to an older UI I created myself until SUI gets the next major update as I'm not entirely happy with the lack of pet target and general lack of unit frame customisation (hopefully addressed in the next version).
I've recently switched from ScrollingCombatText to MikScrollingCombatText with great results. It has many layers of customisation and the ability to add some distinctive sounds to procs such as LnL is a godsend for raiding with 500ms latency (Oceanic players win the hard way). You can turn off and minimise much of the text - I turned mana gains off ASAP as replenish bombards you with info.
I'm a dedicated ElkBuffBars user for buffs - white lists and black lists can reduce the info to exactly what you want to see. I use enlarged debuff bars to track the more critical information during raids.
