Part 2. After getting plenty of ideas and inspiration via this thread, did a little more work on it. Of course got bitten by the 'pretty' bug thanks to some of yours, but also moved a few things around. Like the ES tick bar to a little more obvious position, as well as added in tellmewhen icon so I can more clearly watch the CD now that I've got the bar mod, which made it a little harder to keep track of.

Since I had macro'd ES, POWA wasn't keeping track of the CD anymore, so I had to pop it seperate up on another bar, which is why you see it elsewhere. Odd since other abilities it detects fine that are macro'd. It still seems to miss it in combat still, I don't get it.

Also intentionally in viper showing off the mod (AspectInspect) telling me to get back into hawk, as you can see next to the ES icon.

I was running a modified Howitzer UI for quite a while, but it was getting outdated and taking up a lot of memory. Here is a screenshot:
Focus and focus target were in those spaces to the left and right of the mini map, Omen is in the space next to recount. I may still go back to that skin if I can modify the .tga files into 4 files that fit the way I want at 1920x1200.

After playing a hunter for a long while, I can say that I'm not convinced that Hunter UI's are 'unique' in any meaningful way absent the pet bar. Obviously there will be disagreement, but I'm just not convinced.

The Main Add-on used are EEPanels2, AG Unit Frames, Eavesdrop, Bar Tender, Elk Buff Bars, Pratz, Fubar, and Squeenix are the ones visible.

Took the screenshot while damaging a dummie for you to see the different cooldown and debuff addons that I use to time my cooldowns right.
The UI is based off Hal's UI with some modifications.

Noticeable addons for a Hunter that I use is:
ClassTimer - Shows hunters mark and Serpent Sting.
Cooldown Timers 3 - Well good addon to handle cooldowns.
AutoTrack - Changes what you are tracking automatically.
RangeDisplay - Well checks the range you are from your target.

With the 3.0.8 change to Improved Tracking, I find tracking addons to be unnecessary. Personally I just set it to Track Giants or some obscure creature-type in order to prevent minimap dot-spam.

Still not happy with my bufflist taking up so much space, and being unpredictable in size. Might be worth filtering out common buffs and having them show as dogtags or something.

Mods are RDX for the raid frames and buff/debuff frames, aguf, parrot, power auras for procs, cdt1 for cooldown timers, and Macaroon for the action bars.

A 2 second timer bar will appear just about the castbar in the middle as soon as an Explosive Shot successfully fires (not when it lands), and the LnL PowerAura will appear just above that, so that I can see both along with the ES cooldown very close to each other. The other shots/short cooldowns I use (including Roar of Sacrifice for this fight) are on the bar in the middle so I don't need to look elsewhere (the bar is pretty much only visible at all for watching cooldowns/mana, everything is keybound on different hidden bars anyway).

Long debuffs that need to be refreshed (hunter's mark and serpent sting) appear as a very long narrow bar along the bottom of my screen.

There's one thing that's kept mine enabled, and that's trackable gathering professions. Being an herber, it's nice to leave herb tracking on, get a mob or player aggro, auto switch tracking, kill, and boom, goes back to herb automatically. (I realize not all do this, but mine does, Track O' Matique).

I really liked the layout and tried to copy as much as possible from it

I guess that the only thing I have that I have not seen yet is the trinket CD tracker, I use it so I can manage my cooldowns better then just using them every cd or when you have heroism.

NeedtoKnow is really giving me headaches I got it to track serpent stings but broke that when I attempted to fix it to not track everyones serpent stings on the target. The 'Tracky My Only' function breaks it completely. It seems a very finicky addon. I finally got Serpent Sting back and left it at that. I ended up using Class Timers for L&L, Weakness and Tactician which works great. I really want to get Rapid Fire and the Explosive Shot cooldown timed. Any pointers on what I may be doing wrong on NTK?

I was just about to ask if there was an addon that would let me know that. i constantly switch to viper, forget it is on, and end up finishing the encounter wiht 1k DPS.

Hi all. My UI is still a work in progress. I run a 30" Apple Cinema Display @ 2580x1600, so the picture is a bit large:



There's 2 chat windows at the bottom, but they're devoid of conversation at 7am (for some reason haha) - One for raid (bottom center) and one for guild and other channels (bottom left).

This particular shot doesn't really show all of the elements well - I'll upload another when I finally get a good shot, but i keep my cast bar dead center with buffs and debuffs attached so I can keep track of Mark and Sting uptime, as well as time ES on LnL procs. Enemy cast bar is oversized below the target portrait, and the target of target window is normally to the left of the target.

CD's are broken up into different groups, so all Shot CD's are in the middle and easily viewable.

I use SCT, but only for a LnL custom event - I dislike having excessive useless mana numbers etc popping up all over the place. Less is more.

My super clean PVE only profile displays only the bare essentials for raiding and nothing else (I do have a seperate PVP profile). Call of the Wild is Macro'd to Rapid Fire and FD is bound to the 'F' Key.

Raid Frames fill the space below pet down to the pet bar. Tank targets sit to the left of Recount.

Added a nice verbal Lock and Load notification in MSBT so i dont miss any vital seconds

Titan Panel - Looking for an alternative to show gold and durability on my ui, it's all i use it for
Sexymap - It's sexy!

I use Heatsink, I stripped all the other code and left in the trinket cooldown tracking. You do have to add the new trinkets yourself but it isn't that hard for anyone.

I have found that my tooltips are getting in the way of my UI. Is there an addon that allows me to move my tooltips, maybe simply move the tooltips to my mouse? If so, what is it called and where can I find it?
