The unitframes to the left are me and my cat. The target and target's target unit frames are to the right of me ( ag_UnitFrames).
Above my frame is my cast bar ( Quartz). Below my cat's frame is my current aspect ( Elkano's Buffbars).
The enemy cast bar appears above their frame. The DOTs and debuffs I've applied to the target appear below (also Elkano's Buffbars).
To the right, is all my buffs. Debuffs would appear above those and slightly thicker (and red).
The bottom obviously has my chat frame ( Prat), action bars ( Dominos), Omen, Recount, and map ( Chinchilla). I use a lot of keybindings and modifier keys in case you're wondering why there are so few buttons.
The top row of buttons simply allows me to watch my cooldowns.
The text along the very top is SL Data Text.
And of course, I replaced the default Fritz Quadrata font with Century Gothic.
Other UI addons:
ButtonFacade for my slight button restyling
OmniCC for cooldown timers
RedRange to make my unusable buttons red
Cowtip for tooltips
MikScrollingBattleText for the subtle combat text
Aloft for nicer enemy overhead nameplates
PowerAuras for various signals (Aspect of the Viper/Pack while in combat, no Serpent Sting on target...)
Respect to Ryas, whose UI inspired my current look.

Using Spartan UI, dominos, wim (for whispers, its in the bottom left) and omen. I like keeping it light and free of clutter.

Omni CC Question
Is it possible to get Omni CC to show button cool downs to the tenth of a second? If not, does anyone know of a on-button cooldown counter that is capable of doing that?

I suffer from that problem as well, my eye is constantly drawn to the end of my quartz cast bar no matter how hard i try to stop it so everything i need to know must sit in that tiny area.
It's slightly garish since i have no clue how to make a proper tga file, but the green grid(wanted black) is Hawk active which is replaced by a blue version when Viper is active, the colored blocks fill up as procs/buffs happen. Not exactly ground breaking stuff but i guess it's an alternative to anyone put off by the more common big and flashy set ups.

I know this probably isn't all of your problem, but just in case, you do know that the PowerAura graphics don't have to be on your character, or be the hazy sort of graphic that's easily confused with game graphics? The auras can be moved to whereever you like, and they can be any images you want - external images you make in your favourite image editor, or blizzard ability icons.

I used Tinytip for a while but switched to Cowtip in late BC. Both do an excellent job of allowing a customisable tooltip.

The UI keeps my screen very clear, lots of room to see. The raid bars are formed with grid, formed vertically to allow me to put everyone in the raid while minimizing the area it takes up. Also out of the way, and doesn't obstruct my view. Range check is right below my character, and only shows up when enemy is targeted. Recount is hidden unless called, and i also have cellular that is not shown on the screenshot, works kinda like WIM, but not as ugly, and saves space. Also tells me who's in range of me, etc. The combat text is small, and non obtrusive, with crits only being displayed in large font slightly over the target/player bars on the the right and left respectively. I don't have an in combat raid picture though. My computer locks up when i take a screenshot, and i don't take that risk to snap a screenshot. Target of target shows up in the center as a smaller health bar, and focus shows up on top of that. The overall UI is made to be light on my weak iMac.
Being a hunter, the skill bars are limited, not only to limit the stuff i put on the screen, but i keep the first few keys as alt macros, saves room, allows me to quickly use those skills with a simple shift. Especially those that are not as common.

Well, whilst I will always call this a work in progress, I've pretty much settled into the above. I group exclusively with two other hunters, so seeing their pets health bars/buffs is important to me ... which is why I've got the untiframes set up as they are. I like having things near the lower end of the screen, so the party frames start low and then "grow" upwards. Also, I like having my own pet's bar on the same "latitude" and close by my own, which is why my pet's bar is in the spot most other UI's put the target. My target is in the middle, and target of target sits on top.
I'm a big clicker, I admit, so the need for lots of visible buttons was important to me. And finally, whilst I love what addons can do, and I've more than enough memory to handle 'em .... having as tiny a footprint as possible was also important. Some sort of illogical psychological thing in my head, I admit
I still keep my eye out for varying unitframe addons. AGUF suits my purposes best thus far, but I can see me fiddling with others for different looks/layouts. I'd like to square them out and leave more room for visible buffs/debuffs.
The entire list of addons I use is as follows:
AG Unitframes
Bagnon
BuffSkin
Dominos
Mapster
Prat
rActionButtonStyler
simpleMinimap
Skada
SunnArt
Tipsy

Yeah, I played around with trying to move them into the right spot, but finally gave up after a while. The reference point was still the character. Plus, prioritizing among multiple abilities didn't seem to fit very well.
Prior to recently, I kept my eyes mostly focused on the boss's portrait (to watch for spell casts, etc.). What I was looking for was something let me keep doing that, but also watch my own health and cooldowns. I solved my issues by:
1. Moving my portrait next to the target's portrait in the center of the screen near the top.
2. Using X-perl's "cast bar in the portrait" for my cast bar.
3. Using Quartz to provide a GCD spark right above that
4. Using two rows of TMW icons above that -- the top row is for abilities/trinkets/dots/debuffs. that are available. The bottom row has the same icons, but for those that are unavailable (with timers). This way, I can tell which abilities are available, as well as a timer for when abilities *will* be available (gets around the TMW delay issues, for example).
I use this exact same setup for all the 80s I'm currently playing: hunter, shadow priest, feral druid, and ret pally - the only difference between the toons is the set of abilities reflected in the TMW icons.

If you use power auras already, you can build this into it. I have a glaring blue bar across my screen when I'm in viper. I would rather use an already installed addon for something like this than install another one. It just makes addon management during patch time that much easier.

Addons:

PhanxChat
KgPanels
pMinimap
Fortress (and a bunch of modules)
MikScrollingBattleText
Skada
Ellipsis

BigWigs
TipTac
Bartender4
The idea behind this setup is to keep the most important things in the bottom left part of the screen (threat, buffs, debuffs, bigwigs messages, timers and cooldowns and of course my HP and MP).
I just have to move my eyes up to check the raid status or the MT targets, or right to check my targets HP.

This image is actually not what my UI is anymore, but very similar. Just swap the location of the Unit Frames of the Pet, Character, and the same swap for target and Target of target (A mirror image of the Pet and the Character) and it's the same. A shame I've stopped playing, I miss this screen.
It's a variation of the Dark UI Designed by Telnet.
Addons are:
Btex - GREAT Addon. The grid function is stupendous for setting up the custom UI's
Telnet's UI Compilation
Quartz
Bartenter4
SimpleMinimap
Tinytip
Pitbull
Elkano's Buffbars

I have a quick question, both AGUF and Pitbull have caused major frames' issues for me. It's almost as if it's freezing and skipping frames during any sort of combat.
Any Ideas?

The only thing I can think off is that your PC simply can't handle the mods...
Because I've used both AGuF and Pitbull and I've never had any issues.

Cowtip or another tooltip addon should be able to take care of that for you.
As for feedback: I'd say try to reduce the amount of buttons you have on screen.
I mean, do you need to see Steady Shot, Serpent Sting, petstuff etc as buttons?
All those really do is take up screen space for the visual confirmation that that ability is indeed bound to key X.

@ Athien:
My computer can definitely handle it. Quick look at some specs:
8 GB of ddr2
BFG GeForce 8600 Sli
Edit: So I don't think it could be a problem with anything hardware-wise.

You sure you have the latest version?
And well, a more detailed description of the problem might give someone else a clue as to what could be happening, I'm not that knowledgeable on computers.

Yeah I had tried it out back in TBC and it was having those problems and gave it another whirl a month ago and same problems. I'm wondering if it's having a conflict with any other addons or maybe even a setting.
