Seeing as Season 5 is starting very, very soon, it seems only fitting that we have a PvP thread in our Hunter forum.

From what i've seen so far, our PvP utility hasn't changed much from TBC. The new Deterrence change, for me, is a step in the wrong direction. I loved the fact that I could launch myself back and keep the range. We needed MORE abilities like that, not less.

Freezing arrow was hailed as a big PvP change, but in my opinion it's either going to be very difficult to use or pointless. It takes a good 2 seconds for the trap to be deployed, including the launch time. Plus it is about as subtle as a firework in your face.

It will be interesting to see how S5 shapes out, but it could be a mirror image of S4. We could see ourselves left out of every major team again.

I've already been lucky with two Deadly drops from Archavon, but tomorrow i'm going to start farming for the other pieces. I am a raider and haven't really did much arena apart from late S4. Hopefully i'll see some success this Season, and with luck, so will the whole hunter community.
