I couldn't find anything higher than this, the most interesting thing i found was the introduction of NOT using greatness deck

(Although it was only a 1 dps loss from [Mjolnir Runestone])

Also i found that putting rediness AFTER steadyshot resulted in higher dps with this setup, perhaps there is an error in the spreadsheet that might cause this? Logically you would never get to rediness, and the rotation test shows that - however you still get a dps increase when adding rediness in.

EDIT: Adding BF as spot 1 bumped the dps up a bit more.

Is Lotrafen supposed to be in your setup? Would not the ilvl 239 staff be an improvement?

since the 6/14/51 spec doesn't allow for aimed shot, as i understand it, you end up with 6575.22 hunter dps for a total of 7781.27 using multi shot

using a 4/15/52 (and thus maintaining aimed shot) you get 7782.9

but when using the original spec if you switch from the flask to elixer of mighty thought/greater agility you can pump it back up to 7798.06 and that does beat the old record

Updated to spreadsheet version 88d and included motso85s BM and zápdos SV template. I couldn´t recreate the results of any of the posted templates since my last update but those two were the only ones scoring higher than the old templates.

Don't discount this value.

A guildy of mine changed to JC from Engy (big wonder eh?), he gained a total of 57 Agility. I could barely believe it. But then I began to count it together. +33 from the gems themselves. Then another 16 from the token yellow and blue (going from Shifting and Deadly/Glinting) and then another 8 from bonusses plus whatever Haste, Int, Crit theo thers provide. That's more than double the value I get from my JW +64 AP.

I'm surprised the change only comes with Icecrown. Why not next small patch? It is after all a rather 'small' change. JC will still remain the best proff, if not exactly miles ahead.

Removing the prismatic quality means you will no longer get the free meta activation and socket bonuses without matching. The JC 27 agi gems will be simple reds with this change.

A 33 agility bonus is still easily on par with other professions, and still slightly superior to LW (64 ap < 33 agi, especially after talents/buffs).

But then you have an invalid talent build. You need that third point to reach the next tier of talents.

Seems like Enchanting will be better than JC in next patch

JC is still better than enchanting. Enchanting is 64 AP, JC would be 66 AP (compared to Scarlet Rubies), and in fact it's even better since you can choose 33 AGI, which is much better than 66 AP for Survival.

If I enter the Values of Skyforge Crossbow by hand as "custom" I get another DPS ending at 7932,62.

bug?

There seems to be another "bug".
I took Dreambinder socket a Glinting Monarch Topaz plus a Shifting Twilight Opal to get the +8Agi from the socketbonus. If I change the Shifting Twilight Opal to a Delicate Scarlet Ruby the DPS doesn't change but I lose 12Stamina (Agility remains due to 8+8 = 16) which is after Hunter vs Wild and Survivalist around 4AP. If I now add the 4AP manually to the Glinting/Delicate Setup I gain around 2DPS (what shows that 4AP is actually a amount which matters).

I apologize, I can't seem to really understand all the inner workings of the spreadsheet; but has anyone looked at setups using the updated Gun the drops from Hardmode Decon10 (now ilevel 232 with a top-end damage of 708)? It now has the highest top end damage of any ranged weapon in the game and I'm wondering if it might be a contender for BiS because of the (or at least 2nd BiS behind the X-Bow).

Custom weapons don't work in the spreadsheet currently and the gun has not been updated to new stats, so you'll have to wait.

Change Cloak Yellow Gem with Glinting Monarch Topaz (8 Agi, 8 Hit)

Get "Focused Aim" at Tier 1 on MM Talents, remake Improved Steady Shot from 2/3 to 1/3

Total DPS will be 7941.84
