About that bug, i have had it too at times. Sometimes i have killed her right where she starts, along with rest of group, and other times i have kited her and her goons through the instance, killing them one at a time. Both scenario's i couldnt loot her on certain days, so it doesnt depend on where you kill her. I think it has got something to do with killing Delrissa and her adds too far apart, not sure though. I have also seen them reset once while they were following me, just like that

Anyway, soloed MgT without 2xt5 is pretty awesome

(I would still advice you to get 2t5 though, just to save some frustration)

My guild is quite lazy when it comes to old content it seems ^^ and those 10 min enrage timers kind of say NONONO to iron maning Leo and lootreaver with a healer :< How many people would I need for those?

For Vexallus I think I had more problems with my own hp than my pets. I let my pet kill the first 2-3 sparks and got the next two myself (IIRC, it was all a bit chaotic) and then left the next ones for my pet, I think the pet was was at 5 stacks when the boss died. Didn't even have to use Last Stand but a hp potion for myself. To be fair, my gear is quite evolved, had the luck of winning wrathstone (awesome for BW) and Giants Bane on the first two runs.
I used a unique pet build only for this boss (Pet Calculator - Wowhead), Great Resistance really helps in this fight and you don't need thunderclap or armor for him. Easy pet respecs are quite a great thing dual spec did for soloing stuff ^^

Got Buru to 2.2% tonight. Means he is soloable, which means all of AQ20 is soloable.
Very pissed when I died that close

The best way to deal with second boss MgT (which i posted 1 or 2 pages earlier i think) was to kill one spark myself and let all the remaining sparks go to the bear, and thats where i thought 2xt5 was mandatory. For me personally this was the perfect balance of threat, incoming damage, outgoing damage and healing on pet. The fact i kill one spark myself (+50% damage) means also more healing on pet, who in turn gets more damage from killing sparks ofcourse. Gotta love how at the end of the fight the bear fills half the room with 10 stacks of the buff and Bestial Wrath

Also, i use a simple line in my steady shot macro (which i keep in there at all times) which makes sure my pet prioritizes on those sparks (think their name is Power Surge, dont remember the name at this point, or the simple macro for that matter). It's not needed ofcourse, but combined with 2xt5 it trivializes this encounter making it just a tank and spank fight. Finally got the Hawk mount few days ago, along with 5 orbs trying to get it, so no more MgT for me >_<

I just tried Tharia's petbuild in MgT. And it worked. Until then I hadn't been able to get him below 20%, this time I just made it with the use of a potion and a timely Kill Shot crit. It could have been more comfortable if I had not let a Pure Energy get too close.

Unfortunately the macroline I used to get my pet to kill the Pure Energy didn't seem to work.
/petattack [target=Pure Energy, exists]
It constantly went back to Vex even if I forced it to attack. Quite annoying. This was also the reason that Pure Energy managed to get close to me.

So Vex is definately soloable without T5.

Finally managed to down Buru the Gorger

A really annoying and long fight, got to be a better way to do it somehow >.<
Kited him between the eggs blowing one up whenever he speed up, to many eggs to fast = no eggs and to many critters. Pet dealt with adds and killed eggs if free.

You need as much HP and mana as possible before 20% as you will have very little time to kill him.

Sending my pet to the far side then feigning can buy egg dps time. Just don't forget to pull Buru off your pet or tell your pet you run to you because your pet can not tank him.
Disengage can jump you across the deep water or away from him, you will need it a lot.

Anyhow AQ20 cleared, back to MC.
Anyone tested Jindo in ZG this week to see if they still get HP back on mind controls?

Hit a brick wall now due to my lack of 2T5

So far:
ZG: Killed all but Jindo
AQ20: Killed All
MC: Killed Lucifron, Magmadar, Gehennas, Baron Geddon and Shazzrah

Anyone managed to kill the remaining guys in MC without 2T5 or will I really need it?

5 can easily do loot reaver, probably leo too by that point.

Sulfuron is easy with 2T5, I doubt he is doable without it.

Anyone tried Garr with crocolisk yet? No time to level mine.

I've killed Geddon every reset so far, including the day the patch went live. I already have Garr's bindings so I haven't tried him.

Geddon is simple as long as you either:
Use 3T1 to mend pet from 40+ yards and let the pet kill him (Get at least one shot in to get kill credit).

Have Hawk Eye to safely stand outside his 40yard range and dps him. Having 3T1 helps here a little if your pet wants to tank him from the far side.

The Hawk eye method is far far faster, if your doing the pet kill strat try to hit him towards the end of the fight, getting the mana burn debuff at the start is... bad.

Garr:
Without 2T5 I couldn't keep my failbear up.

Ragnaros:
Do his firespawns disappear if you FD?
I did this with a resto druid today who died early on and I FD'd after my pet latched onto a few and got up right away.
I thought I saw a few despawn but I might have just imagined it.

The adds are all that is stopping my soloing Ragy at the moment, though I would love 2T5 to help with healing >.<

I was able to kill him with a crocolisk last week. I used two pieces T5 + Living Ice Crystals. It took me some trys.

Strat: heal pet -> MD pull one add on pet -> pop all cds (bad attitude, KC + BW) -> focus add until pet has 50% hp -> use volley until aggro from adds -> fd -> more ae

Notes:
- Mend Pet must always be up. Remember: Garr can dispell Mend Pet.
- use KS to finish the focus target fast
- use MS for some fast heal
- focus dmg > volley as long your pet ist over 50% hp

Mana is an issue in this fight. AotV should only be used after 5-6 adds died. I used the Glyph of Volley in the third slot. The other two glyphs are obviosly BW + Mending.

So what would the best soloing pet be? I have a 80 gorilla atm, wondering if anything else is better... And correct me if
I'm wrong but ferocity pets are best for soloing Onyxia? And what would be the difficulty of acquiring 2t5

The difficulty of acquiring 2t5 is finding a group.
Nearly any pickup group is going to result in everyone rolling for the Tier token even though they don't actually need it.

For mass AoE pets I would probably say Croc or maybe Bear for the extra threat from Bad Attitude/Swipe.
For something that hits hard probably a Turtle for the mini-shield wall.

I personally use my Ferocity pet for Onyxia. He heals himself and his higher DPS results in a faster phase 2.

Currently I am using a Worm because they start at level 80 (Yes, I hate leveling pets) and for their spit (Nature damage and reducing its armor by 10% per Acid Spit for 30 sec. Can be applied up to 2 times.)

Now I found another pet that I find interesting, I just want to hear your thoughts about it.

Warp Stalker
Warp
Teleports to an enemy up to 30 yards away and gives the pet a 50% chance to avoid the next 3 melee attacks. Lasts 4 sec.

15 sec cooldown

With 3/3 Longevity that would make it 11.5 Sec CD (My math sucks so I apologize if I got this wrong) and assuming that the pet can use it even thought its in melee range wouldnt this pet be good on 1on1 bosses?
