How are you killing the axe throwers? Those guys keep me locked down 95% of the time.

It has a specific spot that I've found out by trying. Sometimes it seems that the spot that worked ain't working
on another go.

More important detail that I noticed was that if I had anything at all that somehow buffed or linked me and my pet,
Zath and Lor'Khan ran to my pet too along with Thekal after MD.
"Anything" here means 2 piece T5 bonus, Spirit Bond, Mend Pet etc.
I suggest you guys that had trouble with the encounter try it out without above mentioned "buffs" and see if that helps.

Went to ZG again today, did both bosses as Marksman instead of the standard BM tanking spec (dodge/hp talents). I did use a tanking pet + 2t5. Both exploits worked first time right away; pet was parked at the 2nd gate (the inner gate) of Thekals 'room'.

So, in other words, i did not have Spirit Bond or Mend Pet, but i did have 2t5 and Misdirect naturally. Thekal and his adds always seem to ignore MD at first, but once you FD the boss runs to pet, the adds run back for some bizarre reason.

I do a couple things, one, I keep my distance (as Shandara mentions) and two, I use my SV spec until I get to the bosses, so I freeze trap one of the axe throwers and wyvern sting the other. Let the tigers come to my pet and AE them down. Usually have all or most down before the freeze trap breaks. Then burn them down, if one is getting annoying throwing axes, I trap or sting him again, but thats not usually needed. When I get to the group with three axe throwers I do the same but concentrate on the one not CC'd and drop a snake trap to keep most of the tigers on me busy that my gorilla didn't pick up.

I haven't tried parking my pet at the second (inside) arch yet, but I've had no problems parking him at the first arch and doing the FD bug under the inside arch. Each time Thekal runs to the middle area (field) between the two arches & begins the next phase as my pet attacks him. I don't have the 2t5 pieces and haven't had a problem in BM spec, even with spirit bond active.

I also seem to notice a difference at the Raptor boss in Z'G.
Yesterday I did the exact same thing as the times before:

Place pet near base of temple, MD on pet, shoot the boss on raptor, run up on stairs.
Boss is on pet, raptor on me. I jump down one level, raptor is gone(?) instead of running down and evading on me.
Let my pet (Gorilla btw) attack boss, build up some aggro, MD, heal, slowly dps him down while watching my aggro level. I got teleported down 2 times while I was sure my pet had more aggro.

Anyways, will have another try tonight, just to confirm for myself something has indeed changed.

The Tigerboss "MD-method" works like a charm, allthough the trash can be somewhat tricky.
Keeping distance is key, but sometimes I still manage to pull the left AND right group of trash because of those roaming tigers.

I don't have the 2 T5's, but it's still doable.

I'm a little puzzled. I'm not entirely sure why you have trouble with this one. It's definitely doable - did it while I was leveling to 80 with a Gorilla and no T5.

Are you remembering to tranq shot his "disrupt magic" effect and refresh mend pet every time he dispels it?

That was likely the problem.

I started soloing old content this week.
Found a lot of tips for some AQ20 bosses here, thanks for that.

So far i have fully cleared AQ20, and Attumen and Maiden in Karazhan.
Maiden wasn't to hard, just pillar hug :P

Ayamiss got annoying after 13% and 4% wipes, cause pet got stunned while he should kill the add >.<
But eventually got her/him down.

Atm i am working on Moroes, yes i think he is soloable.
Garrote is avoidable by FD (25 seconds), he does garotte after vanish, he vanishes each 30 seconds.
So whenever he vanishes be sure to have mend pet up and FD till he shows again.
Will try this out later, want to clear MC first.

Watching the first AQ20 video, I don't see Arcane Shot ever coming up on Watcher. Did you deliberately disable/not use AS or is the video resolution preventing me from seeing it?

I only use watcher in raids, didn't turn it off.
Watcher is not showing arcane shot because i normally have survival as my seconds spec.
Normally it shows aimed, explosive, black arrow and the 2 you already seen in that spec, but since i didn't spec for those, it doesn't show them.

How do you do UBRS solo? Don't you need 3 people to click the stone to summon first boss?

Also it looks like you make most of you money from skinning... I am not.

In the "The icy art of making gold" thread I saw someone estimated 300g/hour as a miner. If that is true then I doubt that old instances are really profit, just fun.
