If i'm not mistaken that can drop off any of the bosses in MC except Rag and Majordomo.

If you're working on Broodlord how are you getting past Razorgore? Sending your pet out and just standing at the controller all fight?

I bring in a few mates to help kill Razorgore and Vael. I doubt they're soloable.

My pet is refusing to stay still for more than 5 seconds at a time while tanking, It just likes to dance. Anyone else got this happening?

Probably related to the pathing issue tanks are experiencing. World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Mobs getting behind

This has been happening for a long time, but is usually rare. It especially happens if you pull a mob and then send the pet in to intercept and it pulls aggro off you while both the pet and the mob are still moving.

Indeed the health per 5 trinkets do help, I currently have one (25 man) and really hopeing Ony is good to me and will drop her ten man trinket. As well, with this current patch we sadly did not get pet scaleing. But we did get the new ''Cower wall" add that to the already great tank pet the turtle its increased survivability a good amount. With the recent launch of 3.3 I've been able to solo a new boss, Doomwalker (YouTube - Hunter Solo's Doomwalker if your interested). I've attempted Kazzak but 25%~ left was about as far as I got, If any one with double Hp5 trinkets has been successful let me know, I am very eager to attempt him with both.

Can you post your spec and pet spec and any specific glyphs/talent choices you've made as I believe it is relevant for anyone interested in repeating such a feat? I'm assuming you used a pretty standard pet tanking build. I noticed in the video that you pulled Doomwalker on to you to reset the armor debuffs. Was there anything else you had to do? This will definitely be my next endeavor when I get a chance to solo some content. Very well done.

E: I actually see your armory now after do a quick search (your armory link doesn't like directly, but I'm sure you know that). I know there's no healing in the Doomwalker fight, so is there any reason you specced into Aimed Shot? I'm assuming it's more dps than Kindred Spirits and Animal Handler, but I haven't checked the spreadsheet, unless you did it for other reasons like another boss that that heals for example.

The spec I used is the same one I use standard for soloing all of my content. IE Zg, Aq, world dragons, kara to name a few. I never respec this spec so basicly I've spec'd into what will help me over the largest amount of bosses. While dmg isnt my main focus I care about my own dps over my pet (even more so with the amazing new MD) based only on 2p T5. Little helpful tidbit if you were not aware. The new addition to removeing buffs when you begin an incounter if the person that buffed you is no longer around does not apply to outdoor bosses, this will help you alot if this is something you would like to try.

Hey guys! Yesterday, I killed Ossirian the Unscarred with the 300% damage debuff on him at all times. I haven't heard of any hunters doing this before me, but have you? Here's the video:

YouTube - Ossirian the Unscarred hunter solo 300% damage buff

Gonna do Ragna next

Made it a few weeks ago, turned to be kinda boring with Turtle+2t5, as all fights without adds nor random target damage. Tank/dps/fd/lootz.

I've been hitting that boredom between raid resets that has had me looking into what to try to spice things up and soloing instances seem interesting.

I've been sniffing around the thread but all I find seems a bit outdated, so I whipped a build for perusal:

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

I'm not sure if I exagerated a bit on the focus recovery for the pet. I was torn between getting Survivalist (10% stamina which would bleed to the pet) or GftT but eventually decided on GftT. I didn't took Cobra Strikes, didn't seem interesting enough, but is that a bad move? I could move out the points from Careful Aim, but it doesn't seem savy.

Lastly, has there been any change between tanking pets with the new Cower? Turtle for the -50% damage every 1 minute or Warp Stalker for the 50% dodge for three attacks every 15 seconds? Whichever one that I pick does Hunter Pet Calculator - Wowhead seem sound? Because I'm not sure the 10% armor is really worth it over the DPS talents.

Really really lastly, to collect the two T5 is something we can do as our first attempts of soloing instances?

You are probably going to wanna go with something like this - Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
The extra 6 yards from hawk Eye is a must for many fights. The rest is up to personal preference, but with that spec i usually don't have to worry to much about pulling threat.

Personally i am not a fan of survivalist, its not really needed. GftT, Mortal shots, etc. seem far better because it speeds up the fight and your pets threat gen.

Turtle is by far the best pet for general purpose soloing. Crocolisks used to be good for AoE threat but with the new MD + Volley it isn't really an issue.

you can solo bosses fine without T5 until mid Molten core. Garr is where T5 becomes a necessity. ZG and AQ 20 are the best places to start.

Depends, Cobra Strikes work with Thunderstomp (one charge = crits on all affected targets), or at least it did when I used it last. Making it powerful in AoE threat and damage.

I've always wanted to test out a warp stalker, but could never think of any situation that would really use its warp ability effectively. Turtle, is by far my favorite pet tank, but as I was heading to kill Doomwalker it hit me. Really slow attacks, and huge periods of time he doesn't attack. So I went and tamed one (which by the way, reduced pet leveling exp makes the leveling grind so much faster now.) and I cannot even tell you how huge of a difference it is for this one boss. So if you have any room at all in your stables i would highly recommend getting one if soloing Doomwalker is something you would like to do. Sadly I can only think of one other boss it might be useful on but i will have to do some testing first to see how it works out. My turtle is always better on other fights, but 500 gold + epic selling BoE's its well worth the stable slot.
