He was seeming to "reset" on me if he was past the archway when he died the first time and came back as the tiger. I had to make sure he wasn't past the archway and still in the open area to get him to not bug. That may explain what you were seeing.

Hexxer can be soloed by dismissing yor pet and burning him/her down in melee. When MC totem pops up, it will heal you and actually make the fight a bit smoother.

Start at max range with your traps down and use your cooldowns right there. Once he/she gets on melee range, just stay there and fight with your traps and melee. Skeletons are soft so they'll die on single explosive or volley ticks.

I've solod the first 2 bosses in Oculus. The only wrath instance, I believe, I haven't had a boss kill is CoS. Another hunter has solod 2 or 3 heroic wrath bosses.

Finally managed to solo Netherspite in Karazhan(think this is a first for hunter, unsure though)

I did use t5 on Netherspite, also to avoid portals. Lay an explosive trap in his pathing and then stand by the door, when he gets near walk in the door and he will aggro onto you.

Also I used my tanking BM spec with 2/2 bloodthirsty on my wolf for Jin'do.

I killed Netherpite the first time at around mid Oktober 09. by using the same method as shown in your video.

But I don't think it is a legal way to do it cause you are removing some very important parts of the encounter that makes the fight a lot more complicated by moving Netherspite to the floor opposite his room. I don't know if he's soloable without using any kinds of exploits.

The same can be said about Romulo and Julianne(Opera event).
It was only possible for me to kill them, if I moved myself over on the platform that is facing the scene. This made me able to outrange Juliannes binding passion.

I might record it, the next time I kill them, if someone is interested in seeing exactly how I do.

I'm more impressed with how quick his kill was, the first time I solo'd him it took me twice as long but my strat was a little more painful (i'd burn him, get MC'd, kill my pet, tag him soon as he dropped MC on me so he didn't evade bug, resummon pet - rinse and repeat).

Apply Mend Pet, md your pet and send it in, Multi-Shot to get some pet threat and let the 3-4 other adds be on you for some time and then feign.
Use Cower and Shell Shield directly if needed and be ready to re-apply Mend Pet if it dissapears!

The adds should die quick enough to not have them kill off your pet. Good luck!


If you use any other pet than a turtle, I have no idea how to do it

At the beginning, MD+Volley. Then pop cower, shellshield, and DPS cooldowns, and single target adds down. It'll be pretty close without 2t5, but you should be able to do it.

I pull the boss into the Ragnaros' room, put the pet on the boss (turn pet's AoE abilities off), cast a volley on the adds and disengage on to the island in the middle of the room. Adds come to me and the boss stays with the pet. After that I just aggro bounce the adds until the boss is down. Takes about 10 minutes or so. No T5 needed.

I've been reading a bit about HC MgT Soloing and i see that T5 2x set bonus is kinda required; but my question is this. As of 3.3 with t10 gear and 264/251 pieces, is this bonus still required?

I've been trying to solo it but seems impossible to me.
