It would be pretty hard to do by yourself; just to enter you'll need 5 or more people to hit the gong I believe. I'm thinking the Bear boss's mechanics are the only ones that seem easy enough to handle by just a hunter. Has anyone tried attempting him yet? I assume his hits might be too much to handle since it used to take 2 tanks in TBC.

No, the gong mechanics was changed back then to only require 1 person to hit the gong. I have been able to solo-farm some of the trash for the Mojo small pet, and even helping a friend getting his Tattered Hexcloth Sack quest done. I haven't attempted any of the bosses, however.

Just discovered this topic a few days back and thought I would try it out for fun.
So far done the following:
ZG - Cleared
Aq20 - Cleared
MC - Cleared
Kara - Cleared besides Nether spite(Heard you can bug this fight out making it doable?), Would love to hear how the rest of you did Illhoof, him alone took 5hours+ out of my day but felt amazing getting him down.
All done as Marks pvp spec(0/55/16) with a Turtle pet and t2 t5 with 495res to have pet crit immunity, going to be trying BWL/AQ40 Bosses this week and hopefully experiment in some other raids/world bosses such as Doomwalker/Kazz.
I noticed a lot of the people here are BM with Glyph of mending and some to the extent of Ony's hp/3 trinkets, are these needed for the above raids/bosses i'm going to be trying? currently don't even have glyph of mending as my marks build.

Netherspite - Put pet on stay in a corner of the hall before netherspite. Run in about 5 yards, wait for boss to get close enough and scorpid sting it. Run out. Once you see netherspite is targeting your pet, put it on passive so he runs back to his spot, MD, put pet back on defensive, and stagger your cower and shell to help your pet survive.
Illhoof use 3 tier 1, keep pet on boss and heal through by dpsing the adds that run to you and keeping mend pet up. It takes a while, but if you get the pull right, and are far enough away you won't get sacrificed and relatively easy fight. Save your CDs and volley for when you need extra help healing pet. Volley you save not for CD consideration but you don't want to kill all the adds in one fell sweep when your pet is fine with HP then realize you no longer have as many adds to help heal it.
131 resil is all you need to make your pet crit immune. Netherspite will probably need glyph of mending because he does hit for 6-8k a hit so keeping your pet alive is harder then other bosses. BM is probably also more required for that fight because of how hard he hits. 1 Ony trinket can help with your personal survivability.

For Karazhan and AQ40
How to solo R&J and Theresha of the opera in karazhan? i know that the wolf is easy to deal with, but how to do these 2?
and for AQ 40 how to deal with split and earthshock? its better to reply with a picture thx
Reply for the others: Now ZG AQ20 MC are doable. Sulfuron Harbinger, Golemagg, Executus, Ragnaros need 2t5. For Sulfuron just keep in distance and nuke nuke nuke until 4 mobs oom. u'd better keep ur pet beside the wall cos when sulfuron throws his lance, the position will change. u r probably to get immolation and Pain word. Golemagg is really a challenge. The tip is nuke him until 20% and distracting shoot boss to fade debuff on ur pet. Execetus and Rag are really easy. i did execetus even with volley lol.

MC is soloable without T5. For Golemagg, I clear his entire room. Before the fight, stay on the ledge above the boss. Eyes of the beast your pet down and into the left corner, so you can reach him with mend ( use turtle). Start by putting your pet on one of the dogs and MD the boss, but go easy, you want your pet to have a little aggro on the boss, not a lot. Attack the boss and he will start running to you, do not let him run out of the room, or he will reset. Allow the boss to approach the exit from the room and feign. Pop immediately, at this point i switch to viper, mend pet and wait till boss is in range. Switch to hawk and hit the boss, continue to aggro bounce until the boss is dead. Bandage as needed, pop cower and shield on your pet when available. When my pet has about 20K aggro on the boss (which is close to the start of the fight) I turn thunder stomp off. You do not want your pet to have a lot of boss threat, otherwise you will not be able to pull the boss with ease. Just make sure you alternate your pet's target between the dogs ( you will have a lot of healing aggro and without thunder stomp you might pull a dog). Once I worked this strategy out, I have been able to successfully clear MC for weeks, almost exalted at this point, just need two more runs.

I need help for illhoof in karazhan. How to solo it?I've used the way of #528, but he will enrage after 10min. So just healing the pet with 3t1 can't kill this boss.

You need a ferocity pet.
There are a few different ways to do the pull. The times I targetted Kil'rek he spawned a second one right away. You can try eyes of the beast and tag both of them. But what I did which worked was just send pet to illhoof, then to kil'rek, make sure you md a multishot to them, burn kil'rek to about 25-50% then put pet on illhoof. The lower you can burn kil'rek the better. Pet should have enough aggro on both of them. As soon as your pet has them, put him on stay. You don't want either illhoof or kil'rek to be moved. You need 50+ yards. Make sure you jump out of the room within 10 seconds. i'm not sure how quickly the first sacrifice happens. You don't want to find out.
From there I made kil'rek my focus so I can see how much life he was at. This was a habit when working with a tenacity pet with thunderstomp. If your pet starts taking too much damage, just use a /tar kil /petattack macro and have your pet finish him. That will be one less mob attacking your pet. You don't want to kill him too early because then he'll just spawn at 100% in 45 seconds and you might have trouble later, so keep him at very low health as long as possible but kill him when you need help.
From there all the adds will head to you. Just kill them. Alternate between steady shots and multi-shot when it's up. When you start getting overwhelmed go ahead and volley them down. Again, don't waste volley too early because that's a good way to heal your pet when you need help healing.
If/when you kill kil'rek keep an eye out for when he spawns and use your kil'rek macro again so your pet attacks him. Probably only want to get him down to like 80% and back to boss. You'll hit the enrage timer if you kill too many copies of him. you might get away with killing 2. Ideally try to only kill 1, but if you do hit 2 then try to avoid 3. Also, I tended to hover my mouse over kil'rek at all times to look at my threat on him. If you have no adds up you can FD to drop threat. You simply don't want kil'rek targeting you otherwise it's a wipe. If you FD with adds, they'll go to your pet, but won't hit him hard and you'll pull aggro from them pretty quickly so don't worry if a few are attacking your pet.

Doubtful that any class will be able to solo Razorgore at all. Someone posted earlier in this thread that you can't MC while having your pet up.
As for Vael, there seems to be no way to beat him unless a class can put out enough DPS to down his HP before the burning adrenaline explodes. As such, probably won't be possible until another expansion or two unless a certain way to avoid BA is found.

Avid soloing hunters, I have some questions pertaining to my solo endeavors :
- In which encounter(s), does investing points in Hawk Eye range talent become very useful? And for those encounters, is it required to invest all 3 points in Hawk Eye? If not so, I'm thinking of putting only 1 or 2 points in the talent if it is almost required for some fights.
- As for 2xOny HP5 trinkets, is there any easy substitute for those? I have yet to find a situation where I can get the trinkets without "ninja"ing it from the healers (not really ninja-ing, just having to try to give a long explanation why I'm trying to roll for them).
- How useful is the tanking meta, Austere Earthsiege Diamond - Item - World of Warcraft , with regards to hunter soloing? I haven't seen the usage of the meta in any post in this thread. If it is quite useful or even required for some fights, I will try to make the headpiece be one of my 2xT5 pieces to pursue, seeing that the meta is essentially useless if placed on a PVP gear.
- Which other items, besides 2xT5 and the aforementioned Ony trinkets, can be useful to pursue for soloing many different encounters?

I've killed battleguard Sartura this morning. it's quite difficult. First you should have at least about 40k hp pet and FD almost all the time. I just stay awake when deterrence skeleten key(60emblems) and disengage are ready. When Sartura enrage after 10min, use shield wall and cower when he doesn't do whirlwand, and heal your pet when your pet's hp is below 15k. After 10mins' enrage, don't be worry, just stay awake when you're healthy(30k + hp)

[Living Ice Crystals] from Maly 25
[Bauble of True Blood] (normal/heroic ver) from BQL25
Both being more pvp/solo gear than typical healers stuff.

I've been rather busy for a while, but I recently got more time into my hands and have been able continue my work on soloing Doom Lord Kazzak. Tonight all the work and time I've put into this boss paid off, as I after a few <30k deaths finaly was able to get him down.
I will edit in my stratetic and a video for him as those gets made, as I am sure some people would like those things.
500g and 2 Boe epics farmable now, if you get it right.
So far I only have a video showing the last few seconds of the fight, as I didn't think it would be a kill.
For those interested the video can be found Here

Does anyone have any tips for killing Emeriss? I've been having trouble with managing my health (have heroic Bauble of True Blood). I understand the normal world dragon mechanics fully (downed Lethon two nights ago) but Emeriss's special ability in addition to his 25% abilities are really dropping my health substantially. Best idea I have so far is to attempt to make an Ony 25/10 and grab one of the trinkets.
My progress:
ZG: Cleared
Kara: Netherspite & Illhoof left
MC: 4 bosses left
World Dragons: Lethon down
etc.....
