afters hours and hours of wiping I managed to down ony.

I used the feign death bug for the big adds and most of the whelps. biggest issue is getting all the whelps onto the pet while having fd up for the big adds. delaying the first whelps with a long fd (till they're all the way back in the egg chambers) helps a ton. after this it also seems that there are less whelps coming, but this isn't always the case.
spirit bond perfectly takes care of the fireballs ony throws at random raid members.

I also tried downing her the regular way. alot of times I didn't manage to keep my pet alive when 40 whelps are on it. when I managed to get through this and kill the first big one, there isn't alot of time to dpsing ony.
second whelp wave already came at like 55-58% of onyxias health pool and always killed me. due to the whelps not spawning in the same place and just coming one by one its really hard to get all of them onto the pet. then you take a lot of damage from whelps and this + the fireballs is too much with just spirit bond for self healing.
I guess it might be possible with perfect execution and really clever use of fd, but it's really really hard.

Using buffood/elixirs/etc helps. Try killing the healer first using all CDs - interrupt the first heal, which may be cast at ~70%, use readiness, rapid fire again and interrupt the second heal at ~30% again with silencing shot. If your pet gets sheeped during the burst phase, feign. If you get sheeped use insignia or start the fight again. After this focus the warlock because his deathcoil is kinda annoying. The rest is pretty easy.

I've been trying for a few hours now with that spec, but no luck so far. The main problem I seem to have is that my pet is unable to keep threat on the other guys between the CS healing and mend pet ticking. And once I get aggro on them, I die very fast. How do you handle everything when you down him? Any chance of a vid after this reset?

I heve the same problem;
I have try to spend the first 5-6 seconds to let my turtle make aggro, with stomp and miss+Multishot; but the other guys come to mee always.

Ya may i forgot something. You wont need mend pet often, work with pet cd's. if your pet needs a heal, feign after it.

Someone points this out in the comments of the video, but what about the bone spikes? Does he just not use them with only one player?

If I recall correctly, he will not bone spike either of the top two players on his threat table (tanks cant get spiked).

Someone already link one of my vids here a few month ago, the twilight corrupter kill (all by kitting without pet)

By the way, I'm here to share a video I did last night. That's not really soloing. I just managed to tank all the bosses of the Lost City of the Tol'vir (heroic) with my turtle. No big deal, but it was really funny.

How come you're not getting bone spikes? I get bone spiked no matter where I stand.

So I tried Marrowgar and killed him at my 1st attempt. I did a mistake with my template not including Spirit Bond but I managed to achieve this fight.

Spec 7/3/31, 90 agi/stam, 80 agi flask (alchemist)

I frapsed it so it will be on my youtube channel in a few hours/days.

I got a theory but not sure if its correct, can anyone else who plays a goblin/worgen try it out?

Heres one worgen, would be nice with at least two of the same race to try it out and see if my theory is correct.

I'm Worgen, no bone spikes during the fight.

Edit : I'll try next week with a friend if no one do this before.

I see what you think about but it's a bit strange.

I tried Marrowgar a few weeks ago and when I tried him I was bone spiked to death... some sneaky worgen/goblin bug I guess.

I didn't try him since then so maybe it got "hotfix'd". May some other, preferably blood elf ;-) , try the Marrowgar?

€: With hotfix I meant that it ignores us in solo attempts now.

Pay my faction change and I can try out Marrowgar again ;D
It might get fixed but I doubt it, its not a cash cow, ~10min work for a measly 85gold is just.. crap.
