Unfortunately, because of lack of my English skill, It is so hard. TT
I started with Illidari Council's full HP, then reduced HP to 80% and died by Illidari Council. and they were reset.
but in next battle, bug was occured. I started with Illidari Council's 80% HP !!
and next battle, started with 60% HP, started with 40% HP, ..... Eventually I could kill them.
but I don't know how to generate this bug, and I think that This bug might be applied in only korean server.

So, Putricide is down! Seems that what was meant as an impossible healing barrier can be overgeared.

Congrats for the kill Durendil!
It looks so easy when I see it... Facts are a bit different.
I have seen your Deathbringer kill too, very good job.
A quick question: the mark of the fallen champion is a small debuff with our lifepool, can't it be bypassed using 2pT5?

I have just managed to kill the Iron council (easy way) with only one pet and no improved mending. I used 2pT5 and prismatic elixir. It was very intensive and luck dependant: the more the medium boss buff the small one instead of Steelbreaker, the easiest is the fight.
Once Steelbreaker is dead, the aura with nature resistance + the prismatic elixir is enough to sustain the damages.

Now a quick question about Razorscale. Even full buffed and using tol'vir potion I can't kill him before my pet be stunned.
I try to kite him, I can stand maybe 30 seconds.... Best try should be 4%.
Is there any trick? I can't change pet because FD make the boss reset. Should I just press my keys harder?
Shadowmeld seems to work... nearly. It has worked once while I forgot to FD during the ground stage.

EDIT: Finally killed her... Very very hard fight from my point of view.
No strat at all: turtle all the long, 3 stages before she grounded, fully fully buffed, poped all cds when she landed and kiting when the pet is stunned.
I just don't understand how someone managed to kill her in june 2011 without the current level of stuff.
I am so proud of this kill that I post a screen

PS: Shadowmeld works as intended. During 20s you are out the aggro list, this can be useful if Razorscale has very hp left and you can hope your pet will be able to finish him, or to wait disengage's cd.
I didn't used it here cause my pet despawned with the distance....

Time your Feign Death to happen during a Flame Breath. She won't despawn while casting.

Mimiron and Hodir next!

Many thanks Caribald!

EDIT: Mimiron down, pretty easy when I see Auriaya!
EDIT2: And Hodir too!
No problem man, and grats on your kills

Has any hunter soloed Faction Champions before? Gonna feel silly now if it's actually been killed many times before lol. I just managed to kill it after a number of attempts. As with twin emps I'm gonna upload it to youtube and update this post with a link. I had holy paladin, disc priest, rogue, enh shaman, boomkin and mage. Trapped priest and nuked the absolute crap out of the paladin. The "trick" is to get lucky and kill the paladin before she bubbles. Ice trap to slow the melees and then another insane nuke on the priest. With those two down I went for the rogue, which might have been a mistake, because the enhancement shaman at least was very easy to kite with conc shot while I was killing the last caster.

Hum... I don't exactly understand, T5 heals your pet, not you. Besides, T5 isn't worth it anymore: you lose dps, and your pet loses armor and healing from mend pet. Not to mention your decrease of survivability because of your lower health pool... All heals (for hunter and pets) being a percentage, it's better to have a very big health pool.

Oh, I made a guide for Sindragosa: Durendil : Hunter soloing: Sindragosa solo'd!

P.S: great job for champions.

Thank you Durendil

I just did Freya +1 on 10 man... and oneshot it. I'm definitely trying +2 next reset. Video will be up sometime

Edit: Jesus christ I just managed to reach phase 4 on Mimiron Firefighter on the first attempt... but my pet died, not sure if it was to fires or adds... I doubt I will get such a perfect try again soon :/ But it really seems doable. I had about 4 minutes to self destruction so I think even the enrage is not a problem.

Edit 2: FIREFIGHTER DOWN! This was by far the most satisfying solo kill I've had... I was 30 seconds from self-destruction (looking at time from 1 minute to the death emote in chat box, DBM said 9:34 long kill but it starts counting before self-destruction sequence begins). The fight is overall just about minimizing incoming damage while maximizing outgoing damage. Intervening after napalm shell is a must, bandage asap between phases too (but look out for Next Flames timer), I use cat and wolf buffs before the next phase begins etc. Phase 2 can be a dangerous dance since you can't always be as close to max melee range as possible... Sometimes I went through him with a raptor strike to only take 1 tick of damage and get the raptor strike glyph buff. I tried to bandage when he did Spinning Up, but sometimes you just get instantly interrupted by his flame nova or whatever it's called. Phase 3 is probably the hardest, you have to manage adds while dpsing the head and not overaggroing... Feign sometimes makes some adds go back to where they came from and if you stay away from them they won't come again. I killed one Assault Bot to get the head down for a while, followed by a feign because I would overaggro in that time. Phase 4 isn't actually as hard, as long as you try to keep aggro from all three parts of the robot off you it should be no problem staying alive, pet doesn't even take that high damage; damage from adds in p3 is harder from what I experienced. The only limit here is the enrage, so if you have enough gear it should be doable. Speaking of gear, I'm at 392 average ilvl, went with full dps gear and flask, and obviously scroll, drums and food.

Edit 3: Yogg-Saron with 3 watchers downed in a pretty perfect attempt (post feign despawning fix). Nine minutes flat. 2 watchers should be very doable I believe, I don't see how I would have died on that attempt without having Hodir.

Edit 4: Promised video links:

Hunter soloing: Caribald vs Freya+1: Knock on Wood - YouTube
Hunter soloing: Caribald vs Mimiron hardmode: Firefighter | World first hunter solo - YouTube
Hunter soloing: Caribald vs Yogg-Saron+3: Three Lights in the Darkness - YouTube

I also uploaded kills of Auriaya, Thorim HM and Onyxia, but nothing new here... They can be found on the same channel as the videos above are on (shameless self promotion)

Edit 5: I would make a new post but I don't want to double post... A new reset allowed me to try some of the other hardmodes in Ulduar (or harder modes). Remember how I said Firefigther was the most satisfying kill? Try to multiply that with 100. I just soloed Heartbreaker after a LOT of attempts compared to Mimiron, and as always, I streamed it. It's gonna be uploaded like all the other kills to my channel and link will be here when it's done.

Edit 6: I promised at least a Freya+2 kill and now I've done it. Freya+3 seemed impossible at my gear level, at least without stamina trinkets (wish I had some ) Video will be up later.

Edit 7: Yogg-Saron with ONE watcher soloed post despawning bugfix!

Edit 8: The first streaming session took a while before I could access part 3 (5 hour stream of XT attempts T_T), so the video was delayed, but as I've finished Ulduar (well, except Iron Council, I will probably do that tomorrow after a respec) I'm now uploading the videos.

Hunter soloing: Caribald vs XT-002 Deconstructor hardmode: Heartbreaker | World first kill - YouTube
Hunter soloing: Caribald vs Freya+2: Knock, Knock on Wood | World first kill - YouTube
Hunter soloing: Caribald vs Yogg-Saron+1: One Light in the Darkness | World first bugfree kill - YouTube

Hope you enjoy if you choose to watch, it's just raw footage as the other videos since I haven't got a video editing program, and for the time, can't be bothered with it anyway... Maybe some day.

Really impressive Caribald...
The way your manage your pets during the fight againt XT is just awesome. This kill and the Mimiron one aren't about to be farmed before several tiers...

Could you explain the strategy for Thorim?
You pull the ancien giant, go back in the arena as fast as possible and then I don't understand what you do, could you explain please?
It looks like you keep an add from the arena until the end, does killing it resets the fight? Is it mandatory to enter the HM using these tactics?

And has someone managed to make the achievement "Disarmed" on Kologarn?
Each time I touch an arm I am caught in the right hand. Is it doable solo?

Thanks Dragoran Firefighter isn't THAT hard actually, but Heartbreaker is VERY hard. I killed Firefighter again this reset, and it only took a couple wipes before getting it right... Nothing compared to the 5 hours I spent on XT lol.

Thorim has been done before me by Szalor... The problem with Thorim is that when no one is in the arena, the fight resets after a few seconds, so to actually pull Thorim you need to get behind him before the encounter actually starts. When the fight resets a Lightning Ball goes through the tunnel (wipe mechanic) and you have to be in the arena. You need to pull the Ancient Giant because it will be an invalid target once the tunnel mobs respawn (you also see in the video that the Iron Ring Guards don't aggro or have a unfriendly nameplate second time in the tunnel. It's the same deal with the Giant). The tunnel event is then completable even though the encounter isn't really started (it does once you kill the last arena mob). If you notice in the video, I go close to Thorim the moment he is attackable (I spam Hunter's Mark and run in), which makes him do his emote and jump down. If you go to Thorim too early, he will simply be an invalid target just like the Iron Ring Guards and the Giant. You have time for some pet swapping to buff crit, str/agi and Call of the Wild before he's attackable, and what I do is then get serpent sting up, 2 steady shots for Imp SS (he still takes 99% less damage so it's simply for max output once he jumps down), call pet, MD, mend pet, pet on focus, place pet and nuke.

I doubt Disarmed is possible since getting grabbed means wipe. You can survive the grab and just have him reset if your pet dies while you are grabbed, but with the low cooldown on his grab one would need to be so stupidly lucky that it's not even funny. You have to be lucky even when nuking the arm as soon as it's up again to not be grabbed. The thing about him is that if he's channeling Eye Beam when he tries to grab, the grab fails. I don't know if it's possible to force him to do that by killing the arm with a certain time left on his cooldown for Eye Beam, but for me it's just RNG and killing the Right Arm as fast as possible.

Edit: Looking at the lists in this thread, Reliquary of Souls has been soloed, but there isn't a video. I have been trying it for a while now and i can't for the life of me figure out how phase 2 is possible. Anyone got any ideas?

The thing with Kologarn is that the timing on his Grip is kind of random. It doesn't take much luck to make him cast Grip during Eye beam, and the two have the same cooldown. But for some reason he may randomly decide to delay casting Grip, while Eye beam is always consistent, so you might get caught outside an Eye beam after a few minutes.

Disarmed should be totally possible, though. I've killed Kologarn by nuking his body and crossing my fingers quite a few times. Getting the achievement only requires 1mill additional damage and a little bit of planning, which in 400+ gear should be easy as pie. It just takes a lot of attempts to get lucky.

Oh, I was thinking about the With Open Arms achievement... Disarmed is very easy then, assuming you don't get gripped along the way, but it's the same chance as when doing him normally. You don't need to do 1m more damage, as Kologarn takes the damage an arm has when an arm dies (I believe 543k on 10 man), so it's just a matter of getting Kologarn to somewhere between 544k and 1087k, getting Left Arm low, then nuke Right Arm when it comes up and finish Left Arm when it dies. Kologarn will die from the arms dying and you get the achievement.

One could do it in conjunction with Rubble and Roll and do the following: Kill right arm, then left arm, then right arm, get left arm low and Kologarn below 1088k, then do the same as above.

I've already achieved With Open Arms, using the same crossing-your-fingers tactic. Not difficult, just requires luck. I guess all his achievements should be pretty easy.

Yeah I figured you got that from your description. I don't know how easy dodging eye beams constantly when you're the only target there would be though... I'd guess that one's the hardest then. Lucky I raided back then and have them all heh

Yes, I managed to kill it last night again, but it was alot harder than I remember when I did it months ago in T12 gear.
And than it struck me...I simply did too much dps. So I switched out both my trinkets for some stamina ones, Aspect of the Fox instead of Hawk etc etc.
You will only want to use Chimeara Shot on cooldown for the heal and interrupt as much as possible with Silencing Shot.
Also dispell the shield with Tranquilizing Shot and keep Mend Pet rolling.
If you drop low you can feign and get some Spirit Bond ticks.
For reference, I had a little less than 190k hp and the fight took just over 20 minutes.
Good luck.
