It may be a little offtopic but how is it with pets inheriting hit and expertise from hunters? I noticed that in PVP enemy dodged or parried my pets attack quite often. I have hit cap and expertise cap for lvl 85 targets, but still I see a lot of parry and dodge

Pet's hit = 50% hunter's hit + 50% hunter's expertise
Same for Pet's expertise

For Kael'thas i just put all the adds, except girl, at the end of the room ( opposite from KT ).
Burn as fast as possible the girl and change your last kill order, letting the engineer die before one ( or two ) of the others to be sure to clean the Toy debuff before KT start to fight.
Last part may need a little luck because of the distract shot-like effect he cast on you. You want to take extra care to avoid the mind control by going hide behind the pillar sooner than before. I hide after about 20sec insted of about 30 sec.

Soloed Kael Thas and he is not that much of a big deal even without the staff. He has some pretty nasty stuff in his sleeve. First of all, AOEing the weapons is a piece of cake, multishot now does so much damage that it is pretty easy. Second, the kill order of his advisor is the same, kill the mage first, then the one that is walking towards you, then the engineer and last is the one with bellowing roar. The periodical stun is not that bad. I had no problem whatsoever with spirit bond.

The fun begins with phase 4, with 5.0.4 the pet behave how it is suppose to and when you tell him to go somewhere, he actually goes there!! WoW

so staying behind the statue is without any problems, you just have to get him down with the fact that he will disorient you sometimes for 7s or so and that if you are not BM, you will not have kill command. My spec was Survival, with murder of crows and Spirit bond. Also the mind control is bugged, I have heared that he puts it even on solo classes. When he puts it on you, you will just stand still. Sometimes you will change aspect but that is all, you will not kill your pet.

The worst thing about this fight is phase 5. When he throws you in the air and summons his orbs which take down your HP by %, they WILL NOT despawn. They will be there even after the whole gravity phase. I learned it the hard way, so keep your pet on passive by your side and heal him, while dpsing the boss. It will make it a little bit longer without the pet damage. When he does his second gravity lapse, he will spawn another spheres so there will be even more of them. They also dont despawn after the fight is done or reset via FD so beware.

So, spirit bond is working perfectly now. Yahoo!

However, pet is still getting his butt kicked. I tried 25-man bosses, but my pet couldn't even handle xt 25.
I also tried the faction champions in heroic. But I had Paladin (stun) and warrior (stun + disarm).

However, I (barely) managed to kill hodir 10 hardmode. So we only need to solo yogg 0 and ulduar 10 will have been fully soloed by hunters. I did it in survival with thrill of the hunt, which made my rotation totally hectic. But, in the end, I managed it (I was at 38K on that try, instead of the 30K of the other ones) .

My tries on different bosses in different specs made me realize that BM is probably the best spec for pet survival and dps, even with a tenacity pet.

Peroth'arn down! Rspca is going to kill me, pet probably died 20 times in this fight

Also did a "speedkill" of Tyrande. 11 minutes instead of 77 seems better

When I killed Ignis today he died super quick compared to before patch, so speedkill was easy. I think the kill was 2 minutes and 42 seconds or so, DBM was broken so I just compared timestamps from the pull emote to the death emote. Anyway, Ignis speedkill achievement easily soloable.

Succeed in Kilnara solo with 186K HP.
As spirit bond now work properly you can heal your pet enough to prevent him to use defensive CD.
I think you need at least ~170k HP to heal your pet enough for that.

I succeeded in killing Kologarn 25 today. This was made possible by the +70% pet armor (+14% armor reduction) That allowed me to use a spirit beast (with self-heal and cower macroed) for the mastery buff, and dps him enough (31K5 was needed to beat the enrage). Took a few tries because of his grips, but he went down.

Friend of mine soloed Bloodlord Mandokir a few days ago, using snake trap to avoid resets during decapitate and binding shot to avoid the dinosaur killing spirits.

Not being grip is very easy. He never uses grip if you got the beam on you or if you tanking. All you got to do is timming this by taking some hits at beginning to delay the grip thing. After that the grip will be at same time as the eye beam meaning you will not get grip.

Nefarian won't break your ranged weapon any more, as it's considered a main-hand weapon and his class call only breaks the ranged slot.

The Razorgore reset bug also seems to have been fixed, could someone with more experience with it (Durendil?) confirm this?

I haven't played for a year, i cme back now and try Razorgore.
I see more difficult now; during one try Razorgore teleport me near him many times from the balcon;
In one other try adds have respowned 3-4 times.

One time, when i'm near to finish, he cast arcane explosion.

Can you give me some tips?

Hello!
While everybody is fearing up to level 90 (faster than me, I hope), I decided to separate the "down list" in two parts: the WOTLK/Cataclysm part, who can be find on page 53/4 (or here, on my blog: WOTLK and Cataclysm recap! Well done for all the downs! ), which only lists the solo'd bosses.
I am preparing a new list, for those who are interested to see what hunter worldfirsts are open for taking.

A few details:
- this is my list. I understand some people disagree with how I make it, but I refuse to put in them any boss killed with half-resetting (Gluth 25, XT 25, naj'entus...) because it is my humble opinion that soloing a boss from 100 to 60%, than 60% to 30%, than 30% to 0% is just too much of an exploit. It can be an achievement, but not true soloing. There are sometimes ways to survive berserks without this. And yes, I consider despawning adds not too much of an exploit. This is where I draw my line; some find it too harsh, some find that even add despawning should be banned, I choose the middle road.

-I'll add leviathan and "impossible to solo" bosses because one can actually be solo'd without vehicles (theoretically) and a boss is impossible to solo only before someone has solo'd it (Lich king, Sindragosa, Thorim... all were thought impossible).

-I congratulate all hunters who have made it on that list - it is by rereading it I realized how many managed to go where no hunter went before. I also thank all hunters who continue to solo or followed soloing, they make all of this worthwhile. Great thanks also to all who post guides, they have the sense of community.
