I'm a goblin. It for some reason doesn't work on Goblins and Worgens (don't know about Pandaren). Remember these races were added after ICC, so that might have to do with it, although it is indeed a very weird bug. It isn't close at all to the enrage though, so I'm sure it's possible to solo him on 25 heroic as a non-bugged race.

Yes. i just soloed it with a troll hunter, not difficult.

Dismiss ur pet when the cast starts or just use distracting shot, he doesnt cast on his main target. then resummon and gg.

While boss casts bone storm, he casts on me, and only in phase bone storm. Distracting shot just works for the other time.

When I was still soloing ICC for gold, I took advantage of the boss' Saber Lash style ability, which prevents the application of Bone Spike. The tooltip on Wowhead seems to be wrong though, as it doesn't have a target limit, and is a frontal cone.

I have just finished killing Alysrazor on 10m normal. I am unsure whether or not this is a first on this thread but just in case it is I thought it would be good to let everyone know that it is possible as a Hunter.

I am item level 502 with 4pc (although I did not bestial wrath after the opener) and I ran 3/1/1/3/1/3 talents with Animal Bond and Marked for Death as Beast Mastery spec. This is easily doable with quite a bit lower item level as you can see in my picture I was just beginning the third fly around when I finished her so there is a lot of extra time to make up the damage.

The key to my kill was surviving the down phase which was extremely tight. I started by cycling through 5 different spirit beasts' Spirit Mend then I popped Exhil and Deterrence (then Readiness) and began to cycle back through my pets until I was low on health to finish up with another Exhil and Deterrence.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. Once again I apologize if soloing Alysrazor as a hunter is common knowledge already.

Alysrazor is indeed a hunter first, I couldn't do it as surv a while back and never got back to try as BM (spirit beasts), just thought it would be super boring as pet couldn't hit Alysrazor in the air :P Congrats!

As for the question: Exhil is Exhilaration, a level 45 talent for hunters that has a 2 minute cooldown, heals you for 30% of your health and your pet for 100% of its health.

Edit: Thorim 25 HM down:

Both fights are tank and spank basically, on Algalon I had 10 seconds to enrage after a few optimizations (hit enrage a couple times), on Thorim I just oneshot it the first time I got the tunnel part right (same thing as on 10 man).

Yogg-Saron seems to be bugging on 25 man. 11 seconds into phase 2 I'm insane - it just spams me with 12% Sanity reductions. Happened 3 times in a row, so went to my other "project"

I killed thorim 25 Hardmode with a ferocity core hound and a spirit beast tank, just nuked it with low stacks, and then I changed pet when he had more than 10 stacks.

For Yogg-saron you just have to feign death between p1 and p2, if you succeed, you won't lose your insanity. Then you need a high dps to get in p3 while you are 1st time in his brain.

How come he's only at 40% if you're pulling off 150K dps? That should be enough to kill him, no? Or am I missing something?

Even though my pets are shown on Recount, the damage shown for me is including everything, so I only did 107k dps. I also do a lot of extra damage on adds in phase 1 with MD Multi-Shots and especially Glaive Toss, and each Raging Spirit has around 4.2m hp.

That said, on later attempts, I got down to 2 Raging Spirits when Enrage hit. Since then I've had a few minor upgrades, and I can go 4set now if I downgrade my chest. Hopefully this will be enough to kill the Raging Spirits before the Enrage, and I've thought up a plan that might hopefully allow me to live through the Enrage (I remember from when this was relevant content that the damage aura inside Frostmourne is not increased when he's enraged - only the Harvest Souls channel)

Edit: Confirmed that he's possible to solo - got him on 32% before messing up. Takes some sick kiting though, but it's made easier from his really long cast on Vile Spirits

And also takes forever since you're BM and dpsing without a pet when he's enraged.

I'm having some problems on Malygos. I can easily get to P3 without any trouble. Once I do, I stack up the hot and get ready to 1123, but as soon as Malygos becomes active, I die within seconds and I don't know what I'm missing.
