Just the petbar issues of skills activating and de-activating when calling pets?
Note that zoning also counts as calling pets.

In response to a PVP post outlining several bugs and potential nerfs, GC said:
We're working to get 3.1 up soon. It won't have all of the class changes in it initially though.
Aside from the random stun of TNT and a couple of the bugs mentioned, we don't think hunters are grossly imbalanced in PvP at the moment. Explosive Shot might be a bit too high, but we aren't nerfing it for the moment. We'll see how things feel once some of the changes to other classes are in place.

I'm fairly sure they know Frost is unlinked to the LnL cooldown.

While FD worked on Malygos for alot of people (and me) last reset, I still had all my FD's not work on Razuvious(25) last reset, so I'm skeptical about the extent of the fix. I'll probably be going naxx 25 either tonight or tomorrow, so I'll keep an eye out and feed back whether it happens again.

After naxx 10 last night I can confirm that there are some situations where FD doesn't work correctly (no the mobs didn' resist it). This happened on some trash mobs (gargoyles and in the military wing) and bosses, (Raz, PW and Gluth, I assume it also happened at Sapp during his Icebomb). I made extensive use of FD/MD due to a new Tank we had (around 45times).
It also seems that there's some kind of bug to TSA in 40man raid environements (like Wintergrasp). 2 Casters stood close to me and didn't gain it (there wasn't neither Unleashed Rage nor Abo Might around and they were in my group).
Can anyone confirm this?

What ive learned over a period of the last many months, that if my FD is to work in a big fight, i have to jump to stop casting anything and then use FD. If i dont do that, its ignored, sucks.

As to the PW "bug" I don't know if its the same as I've experieced a few times;
On a wipe if I run away and FD my threat goes away fine. If someone runs close to me with PW in tow he 1-shots me as soon as his hitbox is touching mine. I assume that the "bug" (I'm not sure if it is a bug) is that his hurtful strikes ignore threat and just look for highest threat melee-range character (even if they have 0 threat).

Make a macro:
/stopcasting
/cast Feign Dead
Voila! You will now FD in the middle of a cast. And it will also stop you from attacking if it is on CD, so it will help you even so if you are close to overaggro.

I solved my FD issue by not using it while my ES was ticking on the mob, it seemed like every time I feigned with the actual ES debuff on my target I wouldn't lose my threat for that target. Havent had any trouble with it since.

I haven't had any bugs to FD lately. It takes some time while FD'ing to clear me from threat tho. I use FD and about one and a half second later it cleares it, and if I stand up before that it doesnt work. But I got no issue with that tbh.

Hmm, nope, not even really heard of this. Do you have WWS/Combat Log report? Is it all the time or only occasionally? Have you double checked your shot macro's to make sure they are not the problem (if you use them)?

It only happens on occasion, and no I don't have any logs. I don't know if maybe it's just a UI thing or what, but it's really annoying because if they're really hitting for a few hundred or nothing at all then it's killing my DPS.

I keep getting bugs with my pet action bar after using Heart of the Phoenix. All the abilities there turn grey, I cant send my pet on the mob nor use any other abilities.
It works like normal when I get out of combat again tho, and no it doesnt fix itself if I fd.
Is this a know bug? It's only happened to me recently and its a pain in the ass when I lose 1k'ish dps because of a bug.

The other hunter in my raid has specced his pet into Heart of the Phoenix and encountered this bug last 3D kill we did. I don't know how common this bug is (as I don't have HotP, nor heard alot about this bug). Could be one to add to the list.

I noticed if you stand still and don't immediately cancel the FD effect, it tends to work more often than not standing still.
Also, dismissing your pet and recalling it solves the issue where your pet bar goes grey after HotP'ing. Happened to me a lot, so I just specced otu of HotP and learned to manage my pet much better as a result.

Feign Death is definitely working on Malygos (thank goodness) now we just have to worry about our crazy warlocks.
Outstanding (bad) Bugs that I've noticed. I don't talk about good ones
-Pets will occasionally change all of their autocast settings.
Workaround: Make a macro with /petautocaston and /petautocastoff listed for all of their skills. One click solution! I don't remember Blizzard mentioning a fix in 3.1.
-Killshot minimum range.
This one really sucks on Thaddius. I think Blizzard is fixing this in 3.1.
-Explosive Shot and Misdirect.
What's happening here now in 3.0.9 is that the threat from debuffing the mob with explosive shot eats a charge, which means there are only two charges now but 3 ticks of explosive shot. That means we still can't pull with it because if, for example, you have 40% crit when you pull, there's a 14.4% chance you will not crit on the first two ticks and crit on the last tick (ignoring boss crit depression) possibly resulting in a bad pull. However, this method works well on misdirecting ranged trash to the tank because if you get really unlucky you can just FD and the tank will at least have 3k+ threat on it.
-Disengage sending you in one direction then "popping" you to a different place.
This usually happens when you are spinning around and use disengage, and it is probably related to latency. You might need to face the same direction for twice your latency to ensure that it doesn't happen. This likely won't ever be fixed.
-Threat from feign death suddenly reappearing when you stand up.
From what I noticed, this will only happen if you were on top of Omen when you FD. In other words you passed the tank but not the pull-aggro threshold. Using FD before even passing the tank seems to fix this problem for me. It might even be working as intended now...
-Feign death not working on city guards anymore
Working as intended?

[Glyph of Mend Pet] doesn't increase my pets happiness any longer at eu-eredar. Nor full health nor damaged. I just swapped in and out all my minor glyph to double check it but wasn't able to increase my pet's happiness at all.
Increasing happiness over bloodthirsty, guard dog or feed pet works properly.

This is a problem I've had a couple times on bosses other than Sarth+3 as well, although it did happen a couple nights ago on Sarth attempts. It's rare but frustrating, as the only fix is to dismiss and call back, which is not fun to try and do on a lot of fights. Definite bug, if you ask me.

This is because you have Improved Mend Pet. The Glyph and the talent don't work together, it is a known issue. I have been speccing BM with IMP for soloing old stuff and the glyph doesn't work then. However with my Survival raid spec, the glyph is indeed working fine on EU-Moonglade.

Pets bugged on Malygos?
Did my first Malygos (25) on my hunter last weekend, and was told to put my pet away because it could bug the encounter. I did some searching around on the issue and I mostly found hunters who's pets got "stuck", but could "unstick" them by switching them to passive and back to defensive.
How do you guys deal with pets in Maly? Do you use them in phase 1 and/or 2? Or do you just keep them put away for the entire encounter?
