Has the tooltip for TNT changed to not mention ES refresh again? The Talent Calc MMOChamp just put up for the new build doesn't mention it :/
Wondering the same thing.
However, not all the things mentioned alongside the TNT stuff we saw has been implemented, so once more it might still be in a future build. I guess that might actually be positive if it isn't in yet. But at the same time, delays on something like that could potentially lead to a total abandonment, especially given that Survival doesn't look like it is in serious trouble with DPS. So if it becomes harder than anticipated it would be easy to just bin it.
Also since you ask, on both Live and PTR, the quiver when displayed looks the same whether I have no quiver equipped, quiver of a thousand feathers, or ancient sinew wrapped lamina. I don't think I've ever noticed any other model for a quiver actually :S
So the PTR is definitely bugged with respect to displaying something on your back if you have a crossbow equipped, but the behaviour of displaying a quiver doesn't appear to have changed - it only shows for bows, and only for certain types of melee weapons on your back.
Glad to see this change to FA. But there's still something that I don't understand in the WWS linked. I would expect that a 3% hit increase would lead to a flat 3% dps increase, which does not seem to be the case (180 and 179 dps respectively).
Am I missing something? Is it just due to RNG?
No FA: SV critted 5% of the time.
FA: SV critted 16% of the time.
Went and checked whether ES ticks still count for things like stacking the buff from [Fury of the Five Flights] and Aspect of the Viper procs, they appear to. If anything I seem to be getting 4 Aspect of the Viper procs per ES I fire instead of the expected 3 o.O (and no, I don't mean the passive ticks, I mean the ones that occur when you do damage). So either they made the change to ES not triple proccing JoW/JoL without affecting the other things it triple procs, or that change isn't up on the PTR yet?
Also Black Arrow is quite nice at rank 6, was getting up to ~4400 tooltip damage for it with just selfbuffs/procs, will be quite good damage with raid buffed AP and magical damage debuffs.
I wonder why they are throwing around with hit this time. T7 had only 44 hit rating in total. The T8 has 155 if you add the socket boni. On top of that FA became way better, while I have yet to check if there might really be a dps gain by spending points in FA and taking less hit on items.
- whether I have a quiver equipped or not, I can always get a quiver to display while my bow is unsheathed, provided I have a staff on my back - 1H fists apparently too?
Sounds like this was once implemented as something extra for the Rhok+Lok combo. The only staff (as far as I can recall) we have been using before the feral staff change, was Lok'delar.
I tested the Fist weapon thing on Live and I get a quiver on my back if I have any kind of 1h weapon combo equiped with a bow. I only tested this for fists, daggers and swords, but I asume it also works for 1h axes.
You're confusing the Major Glyph of Mend Pet with the Minor Glyph of Mend Pet. For a little while we've apparently had both on the PTR, so it's no wonder people get confused. This change of name is very likely made to fix that, so we'll still have our minor mend-pet-with-happiness glyph and this new bigger-mend-heals glyph.
Ran with 6.95% hit on ptr build 9704 and as you can see the pet was missing around 2% rather than around the 1% mark it would if it was inheriting my full hit rating. I did run a longer test earlier that was clearer that it was around the 2% mark but the wws had some strange parry % that I couldn't work out so I ran the above test.

"Glyph of Mend Pet -- was renamed to Glyph of Mending, Increases the healing done by your Mend Pet ability by 40%."
That means much more healing:
rank10 Mend Pet: 5250 hp
with glyph: 7350 hp
If talented spirit bond 2/2 it would give 10% more so 10% more summing on the 7350 (glyphed): 8085 hp
Seems a nice change for those encounters with poor aoe healing and lots of aoe damage.
Well I just checked the ptr Hunter glyph vendor and there is still a minor glyph called Glyph Of Mend Pet that increases pet's happiness slightly. Glyph Of Mending is a new major glyph in the current build.
