Under the assumption of perfect execution petfreeze should average to +2 IL (with triple critchance for IL) and -1.5 FrB (with normal critchance for FrB) per 25s. I don't know if it is possible to make that kind of substitution in Rawr, e.g. as a flat multiplier to IL and FrB damage in any given time segment.

I added 300 mastery to one item (to make it consistent with SimC) and dps increased by 201. 201/300 = 0.67

The spell breakdown changes as follows:

as per profile (in %):
FrB: 50.60
WB: 15.14
FFB: 10.56
DF: 10.10
IL: 5.24
Ignite: 3.99
FFO: 3.21

with 300 mastery added (in %):
FrB: 50.11
WB: 14.99
FFB: 10.76
DF: 10.38
IL: 5.36
Ignite: 4.06
FFO: 3.18

Spell Breakdown from SimC:
FrB: 41.8
WB: 10% of total dps (SimC evaluates spell breakdowns per character and pets separately))
FFB: 9.7
DF: 12.0
IL: 17.5
Ignite: 3.7
FFO: 6.8 (3.4 FFO and 3.4 FFO_tick)

Spell Breakdown from SimC without water elemental:
FrB: 53.7
WB: 0
FFB: 11.4
DF: 13.5
IL: 10.9
Ignite: 4.3
FFO: 88.0 (4.0 FFO and 4.0 FFO_tick)

I just checked 4.1.3.0 and the amount of damage from IL is still too low (~5%).

haste scaling @ ~23.58%

Any idea as to why Rawr is reporting that any more haste will cause me to lose dps? Automatic armor is off, full buffs and molten armor selected.

By just adding 20 more haste via a gem change I can force the stats graph to show haste scaling properly again.

That is usually a side effect of incremental optimization when you hit some boundary condition. You can try disabling that under advanced options. If you get me the character xml I could look into it if there is a way to relax that constraint without affecting general performance.

That's me as I am on the armory right now, with everything set to Rawr defaults other than the aformentioned auto-armor settings (which don't make a difference), so I'm not sure you need my xml, but if I've sent it along anyway.

Related to the above, if anyone is using Fire or Frost optimizations only, feel free to disable both Segment Mana options under advanced options. It's enabled by default because it's required for Arcane, but it shouldn't affect results for the other two and it'll avoid potential boundary problems due to mana based constraints.

I'm a little confused about what I'm seeing here. I loaded my character in (fire mage), green triangled my off-piece gear, relevant gems and enchants, turned molten armor on and auto armor off. Turned off both the segment mana options

I go to enable for optimizer a meta gem and I notice that all of the shadow spirit diamonds are the same. Is rawr only taking into account the 54 mana portion of the metas?

Thanks

That doesn't match what I'm seeing. If you mouse over the gem it should mention both components in the tooltip. If you're not seeing that there must be something wrong with your item cache.

Hi Kavan,

I was wondering how do I determine my mana nuetral cycle in rawr?

I see the line that says "ArcaneManaNuetral*" but I don't see how to get to what that is, or is it to complex and should I just match it with one of the notations under it that has the closest DPS?

Thanks,
Shatter

In the spell info section find the mana neutral cycle, mouse over the * on the right and it will include a description about which cycles are mixed to generate the neutral cycle.

Hello. Sorry for asking a question that maybe somewhere in these 62 pages was answered already. ( I am using RawR for years now and like it a lot etc...)

Why is it that every single spell is lower in DPS (including Combustion and Living Bomb) sometimes but the overall DPS is suuposed to be higher. (Optimation vs old stats)
How does this work?

That is because the single spell and cycle data does not include any cooldowns or activated effects. If you look at the spell cycles in the solution section those will include the cooldowns as well.

What are folks using for the Ignite munch value now? I expect the default 0.35 is fairly antiquated, but I also expect the number is not 0 either?

Ideally with the non-periodic only crits triggering ignite we shouldn't run into that issue too much. The main thing is to just cast something between FB and a procced Pyro to avoid the FB crit Pyro crit from overwriting...

At least as far as I know, that should be the case.

Acording to simcraft the damage loss from ignite is about the same as it was pre patch, the main difference is that now the average ignite tick is slightly higher than it was pre patch which should allow for better combustions (on average).

In terms of rawr configuring the default value should be fairly accurate even post patch.
