If I remember correctly, rawr doesn't take into account Living Bomb explosions on multiple targets. Don't remember where I read this so I can't be 100% sure, but that must be the reason since Living Bomb should definitely be doing crazy dps on 5 targets.
It only takes a gcd to be put up on the target, does damage to the target, the explosion does more damage than one tick of blizzard (not to mention crits will put up ignite and give you hotstreak proc), and you can put the Living Bomb up on all 4 of the adds before they get grouped up for aoe. So yes, it has to just be rawr.
The 2.2.20 filters also don't include Merlin's Robe due to wrong/incomplete source information so you'll have to check "ALL". The item filters have never been completely reliable in my experience...if even one item is missing or has inaccurate source data, then the entire feature is unusable for my purposes.
I'd like some explanation for the variations that I've seen in my dps score based on the version of rawr used. For example and cross reference sake, I'll post my score along with the updates stated on the rawr website. And ahead of time, yes, the gear, buffs, and talents are the same across all three versions
Score - 8553.45
Score - 8439.95
Changes in this version for mages - "Rawr.Mage: Updates to 3.2.2 cycles. Improvement to Arcane Cycles feature. Support for cooldown stacking for all on use spell power and haste effects, and berserking."
Score - 8401.26
Changes in this version for mages - "Mage: Fix for crash with Hyperspeed Accellerators, and other cooldown stacking issues."
I apologize if there is a place which specifically discusses the differences or if it's impossible to truly explain. Thank you.
There were changes in some stacking constraints to make the comparison solver closer to the true optimum. There is a bug currently that may overrestrict stacking in some very specific situations, can't tell if you're affected without seeing the character file. The easiest way to see where the changes are coming from is by looking at Spell Cycles in solution.
in the hope of not getting a warning for this post as well ...
thanks a lot kavan for the cooldown stacking work!
though this part:
01:39.000: ABSpam024MBAM (21665 mana)
01:41.780: ABSpam04MBAM (21106 mana)
02:04.420: ABSpam024MBAM (15678 mana)
seems kind of odd? I guess this is to be ignored and just a side effect of the optimizer trying to use the complete mana pool?
The top level solver (that chooses cycles and cooldowns over the whole fight) does not work at the discrete level (only the cycle solver that computes dps, mps and other cycle statistics from base spells does and even that only for arcane and frost cycles). This means that it assumes any cycle is infinitely divisible which can result in things like above. Discrete level whole fight optimization is beyond the scope of Rawr.Mage and has dubious value anyway.

Ive seen he does around 60 dps, maybe he'll scale with raid buffs boss debuff etc.
This is not supported at the moment.

Can't help you with the information you've given. You'll have to post a new issue and attach your character xml file.
I just want to let everyone know that there is an ugly bug in the current live version that will make comparisons wrong. As a workaround you can disable incremental optimizations. Hopefully we can get another release out soon that fixes this.
Aye I have noticed that aswell. When i have been trying to optimize lately, it actually lowers my overall DPS, regems my gear so i only have 2/3 Dragon's eyes and so on.. I'm really confused as to why its suddenly malfunctioning, but i guess I will have to arm myself with some patience for the next update
I have a question concerning optimization. When I try to optimize my gear my runed dragon's eyes will switch places with other gems. There will be the same amount of each kind but the placement will be different and I can't figure out any rhyme or reason to it.
Also, is there a way to enforce the two blue gem requirement for the Chaotic Skyflare meta. I am not concerned with enforcing all gem requirements, especially if they are not optimal, but when I optimize I usually end up with no blue gems in the optimized set.
Surely, I am doing something wrong. I have tried to select enforce gem requirements, but I can't seem to get it to work.
