Something thats concerned me is how RAWR models partial use of evocations. In alot of cases it seems that the extra spirit on the gear will cause RAWR to use say... 87%% of an evo instead of 92%, but in either case you would need to use the full evo (cause it happens in 4 ticks). Seems like itd be a noticeable improvement if the modeler limited evo use to 25%'s.

Sorry if this has already been brought up, but i couldnt find it if it has.

Advanced options, enable integral mana consumables.

I don't think it's a good default setting. I think for item comparisons having it disabled gives better results (read: applicable in slightly larger setting than the exact fight parameters you have entered and better accounts for variability).

Is it possile to add a "activate all buffs" button or something like "invert buff selection"? since it's really annoying to check 20+ buffs every time I load my char from the profiler.

I personally do not think it's a needed function for Rawr to have.

For example, you wouldn't have Arcane Intellect and Fel Intelligence at the same time. Also, Rawr wouldn't know what your raid setup is to be able to determine which buffs you'd realistically have. I think it'd be much more effecient and give much more accurate results if you manually select the buffs you would normally have in your raid.

Deactivating the few buffs you may be missing is still way faster than manually activating every buff. 95% of the users probably use the same buffs/debuffs anyway since most raids have every buff available and most buffs' potency is the same for all classes capable of applying it.

I'd also appreciate an option to activate all the standard buffs.

I'm pretty sure if you save your character, it will save the buffs associated with the save file. So just reload the xml each time you load rawr. No more extraneous clicking.

I still can't figure out how to model it so that frostbite isn't considered for the full effect.

You can't. If you want to have that functionality you'll have to explain in what way you want it to be modeled.

I've been trying to reconcile my dps on target dummies with my dps according to rawr, but it's off by 700-800 dps. I've disabled all buffs, bloodlust, etc., but I can't get close to what rawr says I should be doing.

Thoughts?

Your actual DPS and modeled DPS will rarely line up. There's too many variables at play for even Rawr to take full account of.

For every delayed packet, every not-quite-lined-up-with-the-GCD cast, etc., there's some lost DPS.

Also, did your modeled crit and actual crit work out the same way? Over too short a sample space, crit is often the outlier.

I'm not good at programming. Just now taking a C course, but if you could input a multiplier of the expected uptime of frostbite (from 0 to 1 like the rest of them) so that in a solo aoe grinding situation, it can be easily set to 1, but in a raiding situation, it feels like about 75% chance to break before the next blizzard tick lands on the target.
