You can use Magic Targets on curse.com to have a list of the npc but you won't be able to click this list or mouseover it to target them, this have been disabled from the APi since a long time...

I'm looking for some kind of addon which tracks, scorchio's style, trinket procs, lightwave, tier set bonuses ,heroism. Basically an addon configurable to track all the proc i want it to track. Anyone knows about an addon like this?

You can setup SatrinaBuffFrame to show the things you want (whitelist).
Elkano's BuffBars can do the same.

Could even use Powerauras if you felt so inclined. Personally I use SatrinaBuffFrames and have a frame that appears above my castbar and shows all temporary procs/spells/auras that are currently boosting my SP and Haste.

Scorchio is the only addon that does that without configuration. With a bit of configuration either class timers or any of the many buffbar addons can do it for you as well.

I have also found that Scorchio sometimes misses the Missile Barrage proc, if it comes from the first AB I cast.

I have classtimer set up to the left of the scorchio bars, to the left of my character, mainly so that I can track other short term buffs like Bloodlust, Embrace of the Spider so I can time Evocation if needed. I am fairly visual, and a number counting down is not nearly as helpful as a depleting bar.

For shortterm durationbuffs like heroism, AP, icy veins I use Satrina buff frames at very small sizes like 16x16 pixels max overlaying my character with a small timer under, these are placed slightly under my characters feet. Works very nicely.

For multimob/applicative stuff like scorch/ab/lb I use scorchio2 with bars slightly over my characters head.

For reactive procs like hotstreak and mb I use powerauras around my char (with a small timer underneath for 4pT8).

This means I have all information I need to optimize dps output in the middle of the screen without being intrusive or hiding stuff. I can see if i stand in something bad like flames and I never have to move my eyes away from my character to check stuff. I'll post some sort of UI Screen when I get home from work =)

As someone who's raided as a mage since, well, 2004, I think the biggest problem I have with new UIs is the change. Every time I switch in new addons or move a frame an inch or two over, I end up dying constantly because I don't know where the buttons are or where my health bar is. At the same time, I've had some addons for so long that if I disable them, I can't even play. Some of these are;

MSBT - Programmed to tell me different things audibly, like when a sheep breaks or when my Hot Streak procs.
Pitbull - Of course
Grid - Annoying when I'm solo and bugs sometimes, but it's useful in raids
Bartender - ...
SexyMap - Move my minimap


The biggest one I've gotta say is MSBT. It takes a while to configure, but since I'm usually zoned out or dancing out of my chair during raids, having my computer talk to me and tell me what to do makes gaming a lot easier, and at the same time, more exciting.

I toke this SS 11/11 right after a clean install of WoW, so not everything was in right place cause I was in a hurry to get in raid at time. Healing frame from SCT is not on the right position usually stays at the left of my character. Also DBM "huge" bar and the "Missile Barrage" text you see there are below the Power Auras texture. But overall is almost final. And should I replace OmniCC for Cooline? Thanks

There is a special list of mage centric Power Auras saved as a text file in the archive. Shows Icy Veins, Missile Barrage, Living Bomb Scorch (5 stack), Fingers of Frost and Brain freeze. See 2nd pic above.


The combat text is a mix of the two shown above, now. I have't decided what I like in a scrolling text, yet and I don't feel like taking the time. Setting up Pitbull 4 took most of several days of my playtime.

There are special Luatext texts showing in the raid picture, showing if things like the scorch buff is on the boss (target frame) and if you have arcane brilliance on you (player frame).

Feel free to tell me what you think in private messages.

NeedToKnow should work for you. Alternatively you could build pretty much the same with Satrina Buff Frames, using its filter and bar display options.

Sorry for quoting something almost 2 weeks old, but I had the same problem. I don't know why, but with Satrina Buff Frames on, and set to the default 20 maximum buffs shown, if MB was pushed off that list of 20, Scorchio would not show the proc. An easy fix is to set SBF maximum buffs shown to some number you'll never hit (I set mine to 100). I have not had a problem since then.

I recommend Debuff Filter. I use it to track all my own buffs just above my cast bar.

Tebla: I really enjoy your UI and I was wondering how to get the visual appearance of your own + target unit frame like that. Is it some setting of Tidyplates or Pitbull?

I am a big fan of a lot of the elements you used in creating your UI.
I have recently began the process of recreating my own UI after discovering an addon named Skinner. Namely the viewport option within Skinner. Very much like yourself, I like to cover the bottom 1/4 of my screen with all of my info and skinners viewport will allow you to do this withOUT covering up the screen, instead it squeezes it into the space above giving you a wider view actually than what you were seeing before.

I would definately suggest checking it out.

Sorry if this has been addressed but, I use clctracker for my procs/internal cd's. I know that clctracker hasen't been updated for 3.2. Does anyone know how I mod it so that it tracks the internal cd of Black Magic? Thanks ahead of time.

Pretty sure that's an impossible request. It's been talked about multiple times.
