I would like to recommend the addon called DPSTime.

From the author, which I don't know at all.

If you look at why people are lagging behind on worldoflogs, it is usually because their not using all time available to DPS. Waiting for the cast bar to finish before starting another cast can be 1 second your not DPSing. Ensuring chain-casting is a bigger upgrade to dps than a higher Tier of gear - think of it as having a permanent free Heroism. Spells can be queued by clicking the next spell early, which will leave 0 gap between casts.

This add-on monitors the time between finishing one cast and starting another, providing this feedback to the user so that they can reduce this lost dps time. It's aim is to help improve this ABC - always be casting. It currently rates the gap as follows, with a summary at the end of combat.

0-49 millisecond gap - Green for Good!
50-19*9 millisecond gap - Blue for Okayish.
200> millisecond - Red for improvement needed

To me at least seems like a good addition to Quartz with regards to learning to queue your spells in the most optimal way. For inexperienced mages it can also help getting your basic rotation in order, but I don't think it will help most players on this forum for this aspect of the game.

It seems to be the same way with Hot Streak, I've gotten random procs where its worked, but 95% of the time nothing.

KNOWN ISSUES WITH Patch 3.3
- Missile Barrage and Hot Streak are reportedly not being tracked. I am looking into this.

Thats from Ennulig (Creater of Scorchio) So, We just gotta wait it out sadly!

Could someone make a Kgpanels-script to show haste in % which also plusses the % of Bloodlust, Netherwind Presence, Black Magic and Icy Veins if any is detected. Would be VERY nice!

When I realized Scorchio was not working anymore, I made a custom buff panel through Satrina Buff Frames that only tracked my procs and momentary buffs (lightweave, black magic, hot streak, missile barrage, et. al). If you'd rather have only your Hot Streak, or only your Missile Barrage show, you can create a buff panel, enable whitelisting, and select ONLY that buff. and relocate as necessary, and you've got a visual cue similar to Power Auras, without having to remember which nice little graphic is which proc.

This is the script I made just last week:

It shows your spelldamage (fire) and your current haste in percent, 100% being zero bonushaste. It also colors the haste rating according to haste caps. Yellow for GCD cap (150%) and red for arcane cap (250%). Any haste increase is detected, because the script just reads the cast time of Teleport:Undercity.

Just gonna ask if you or someone could edit it so it shows the % you instead of eg. 133%. I do understand the system but the exact % would be even nicer.

My tweak on Tebla's UI. Main differences being Grid, Satrina Buff Frames, and Dotimer.

Grid for the raid frames, pitbull for the unit frames, quartz cast bar.. it's kinda messy but it's a huge upgrade from what I was working with before.

This is what my UI looks like now that ive made some changes, I'll explain those below.

I created blankspace specifically for names and cast bars (not shown). My Omen is configured to completely cover recount when in combat, then recount shows when combat fades. All bars are colored by class so I can quickly see if a non-tank pulls agro, so I can know to slow DPS. That's about all PM if you have questions/comments.

I'm looking for an addon for monitoring/ reporting what broke my sheep. Its rare for my sheeps to last more than 1-2 seconds (Faction Champions), and frequently the MOBS are instantly un-sheeped. I need an addon that tracks/reports how the CC was broken. Preferably one that reports if the MOB or another MOB broke it threw abilities/spells, and also if it was broken by a fellow raider by AOE or an attack of some type.

I'm finding that the addons for this type of thing are no longer being updated and I need one that works in 3.3 . Tattler,Failbot, MageAlert, all seem to be out of date. Can someone point me in the direction of something that currently works please?

Also I'd like to have an addon that saves the full combat log for myself and the raid to my computer so that I can analize my performance as progression advances.

Ever since the last update of scorchio2 I can't seem to get a procsound working for hot streaks. All other sounds seem to work though. Anyone with the same problem or a solution?

I'm using a mouseover macro for living bomb but when mobs are grouped up the standard blizzard nameplates/hp bars overlap eachother and make it impossible to cast living bomb on 1 of them which makes me lose several global cooldowns when I'm unlucky. Is there any addon that makes it easier to target them?

You can turn off nameplate overlapping in the game's options, Interface->Names I believe.

You can try setting up Powers Auras to play the sound whenever you get the Hot Streak proc/buff.

Thanks this worked for me

Still think it's weird I couldn't get the sounds working for scorchio and msbt while all other procs/buffs/dot sounds were working :o
