Yeah, on raids I didn't get dodged, so yeah, the dummies got updated to 88.

Dummies are 60, 70, 80, 85 and 88. But the dummies with significant HP are the level 88 ones. Others have 1 HP if I recall correctly.

The dummie should now effectively be level 88, as you simply can see by looking at the ludicrous numbers of glancing blows you should be doing against it.

So, for the meta, the best choice seems to be the Thundering Skyflare Diamond, with a proc of 480 haste, with an uptime around 10 to 11% (checked on logs). So it definetly beats any other meta that gives crit.
It might be different for classes like warriors, that had to use the stam + movement speed increase on boots, but since we have Pursuit of Justice, I believe the thundering one is the best for us.

Not that it matters much though for this last couple weeks.

There was enough raging on the official forums that Blizzard decided to revert the 3% critical damage meta gems back to their original requirements.

To quote the blue post:

The current design has been reconsidered, so we're planning to revert gems that now require more blue than red gems back to their original requirements. Such a change can't be accomplished via a hotfix though, so we'll have to wait to revert these in a future patch.

Rocket boots are now belt tinkers rather than boot tinkers. But more importantly - they can now fail inside raids, which I believe was not the case before. There are numerous reports of this on the forums, and I've had it happen twice today inside a raid instance as well. So not only can it fail inside a raid, its failure rate seems to have gone up as well. For pallies on beta - has anyone seen this happen? Or is it that no one has really extensively tested them in raids? It's a pretty big nerf on what I always thought was one of the best things engineering brought to PvE. I'll test out what the actual failure rate is later today after work when I'm in a city/in a raid instance.

Rocket boots did fail quite a bit on beta but I never tested them in raids due to only raiding on a premade. They were the reason I rolled Engineering in the first place so i'm a bit disappointed but there is a new belt tinker which is quite good and may be just as good of an option as the rocket boots, it's a shield that absorbs 18k damage which will be quite handy to negate damage when needed.

Just to confirm:
Yes, in the meantime use [Thundering Skyflare Diamond] for your meta. The [Nightmare Tear] you used for the other should meet its requirements. The proc from this meta is better than no meta, and changing red gems for blue to meet the 3% Crit bonus is an overall loss of DPS (yes, even with our 277 raid gear crazy high crit rates).

By 85 we'll be able to swap back to the 3% crit, with whatever more reasonable requirements it may have.

Anyone Notice a massive DPS loss from 4.0.3 to 4.0.3a ? Last week ich was around 19k at saurfang this week only 15k. Didn´t check the logs already if we missed some special buffs in our raid setup. Maybe someone notice dps loss too ?
Patch note was something with seal nerf but nothing what should show such a big diffrence.

I'm noticing odd behavior with the new (old) Divine Storm, it seems that the old T10 2 set bonus is still in effect (melee attacks have a 40% chance to reset the cooldown on DS.)

Here's a combat log, I'm wearing 2+ (4) pieces of T10 and using 846 haste which gives a 3.58 second cd on CS/DS. I'm not using Judgements to avoid the haste buff so I can keep my cooldown constant and these are the level 80 target dummies.

The following is an example of back to back cd resets (I've edited out lines pertaining to mote, soul fragment and other procs):

I've tried the same after removing my T10 pieces and it doesn't seem to reset the cooldown on DS anymore.

I guess this just means they forgot to remove the bonus, though I doubt this is in any way meaningful however considering DS is not really part of the rotation, is fairly underpowered and T10 will be replaced very soon.

I also noticed a quite serve DPS drop since the patch, but I don't have logs.
However I bet they reverted the past 4.0 hotfix to CS and TV as they did in the beta. This would explains such a great loss in DPS.
