I think you're confusing Divine Shield and Divine Protection.
Divine Shield reduces 100% of damage (you take no damage). The talent Divine Guardian affects Divine Shield. 30% of raid damage all redirected to you and reduced by 100%. You take no damage.
Divine Protection reduces damage you take by 50%. This talent does not affect Divine Protection - nothing is redirected.

After running a few 1000 auto-swing tests with various gear on the boss level target dummy in Silvermoon, the numbers completely agree with what I've witnessed in various setups over the last two weeks on live raiding. I hit cap at 5% meaning I'm getting a 4% hit rating for free, which also meets the numbers I've been seeing since I got on beta.
Expertise is as expected. And I did the tests a few times with and without ret aura.

Hello all
I am a previous rogue that rerolled to retribution paladin, called Lorèal on Turalyon EU.
Was just wondering, and I am sorry if this has already been responded to, is there any ETA on when the judgement bug will be fixed?

I've not heard of an acknowledgement of it's existence from anyone at Blizzard yet so it's totally up in the air.

They should really know by now to be honest, but I will go check the wow forums for posts about it.
Nothing more annoying popping wings + trinket just go have a bug consume a 10k crit judgement.

I do believe the bug was acknowledged by blues, but along the lines of "we know it is disturbing and we will look into it when we have time". Of course, not ETA or anything given. However, my memory does not serve me well, so let's wait for Thadufuzz to come with any post he may dig.

I got a "This is a known issue and is currently being worked on" when I poked a GM about it.
That said, this is the standardised response so it doesn't really say much.

I done the same, though slightly smaller. I did around 500 autoswings in 2 different gearsets (max hit and max str) and completely naked and with and without ret aura. And everytime i had to conclude, we had around 3-4% hitrating coming from nowwhere.
This basicly leads me to think if i should perhaps resocket my gear again. Atm im expertise capped and got 202 hitrating (quite some below the 9% hit) yet i never miss. Could maybe regem the 2 16 hitrating to 2x 16strength instead.
ps. yesterdays 25man naxx clear, around 1% with 178hitrating.

The best dps enchant is Berserker, however it's very expensive. Greater Savagery is a good and cheap enchant, like Savagery was in BC.

I have a question about the t7 gloves, are they not as desirable as some other pieces? I use MaxDPS to determine a lot of my gear choices and as of yet they don't seem to appear on there. I thought with the added Divine Storm 2 piece set bonus and red socket they would be fairly good.
If not I have my eye on a Mirror of Truth.
Any thoughts on the t7 pieces?

I don't recall the proper stats but generaly I have feeling that there are better items outside tier for every slot bar shoulders. That however changes if you account 2T7 and especialy 4T7 bonus.

Regarding the judgement issue.
We are looking into some reports of this happening. It is not a case that is trivial to reproduce though so it will require some more investigation and isn't just something we can immediately hotfix. (Though we will if it ends up being a simple change in the end.)
As a reminder, please don't make demands on which posts I should or should not reply to. I'm sure if you stop to think about it for a moment, you can imagine what these forums will evolve into if that becomes the status quo. In fact, every time I see a thread making such a demand I feel like I shouldn't respond to it, lest players think that they figure out the trick to getting a blue response.
This was not an intended change to adjust paladin damage, and victimized claims to the contrary really aren't helpful.

Question.....Is Devotion Aura(with three points into improved) the way to go while tanking? Verse retribution aura. I understand that one would have to switch aura for such fights, but in general....Devotion aura or Retribution aura? Thank you

The option is taking less damage or producing more threat. Producing more threat is typically a non-issue, so the obvious choice is to go for taking less damage.

It is also to be noted that Retribution aura scales downwards with avoidance(misses/dodges/parries do not triger it), while the talent points into Imp Devotion Aura are better spent there than in the other talents on the same tier.
While I was here I wanted to ask if we have some Ret paladin dedicated enough to come up with a guide on-par for rets with the ones for Holy and Prot paladins in this forum. It would be much apreciated.

Guide to what? Check Redcape's DPS spreadsheet topic, we are pretty much building such compendium on the go. As well, the locked TBC thread is good place to go, seeing most of the last replies were related to 3.0.X retribution.

This may be a question better suited for the Prot Pally thread, but here it goes:
How does Righteous Fury's talented damage reduction work with Armor Damage Reduction?
To toss some numbers out there:
If i have 60% damage reduction from AC, is RF a straight 6% more, or is it 6% of the remainder.
Numbers:
100 Damage hit:
AC +RF: 34 damage, net gain of 6%
AC first, RF after: 38.4, net gain of 1.6%
Either way I will be taking that talent, but knowing how it works is relatively important.

To the best of my knowledge, all percentage DR effects are multiplicative. Whether or not this is universally true, it's true for RF.

I'll put something in the Prot thread on this.
Percentage-reduction debuffs all stack multiplicatively. If you have 60% DR from armor, RF (-6%), BoS (-3%), and 3/3 SotT (-3%), then your total damage reduction is 1 - (.40)(.94)(.97)(.97) = 64.62%.
Shield blocking comes last; the block value is taken out of the damage done after all other mitigation is applied. This means that every point of block value added is a full point of damage reduction on every blocked attack. It also means that extra block value doesn't diminsh the value of armor at all.
