Under our normal rotation, CS is higher priority than Judgment because of it's shorter cooldown. Although Judgment hits harder we end up generating more holy power by prioritizing CS, leading to more holy power generating, leading to higher DPS.
During AW, our rotation is shortened to HoW -> filler -> HoW -> TV -> repeat. This rotation is sustainable for the entire duration of AW, and you should simply use whatever filler hits hardest: Exorcism, Judgment, then CS. Since the CD on Judgment is 6 seconds before SoB, even if Exorcism is on CD and you dont' get any AoW procs, a HoW -> Judgment -> HoW -> TV -> repeat rotation is completely sustainable.
There AW rotation can be modified for higher DPS by using TV only if Exorcism is not available, as discussed in the ret thread. Even with this modification, prioritizing Judgment over CS still applies.
At the danger of getting flamed or nuked, I wonder if some kind souls could help me set up my CLCInfo for both a Ret and a Prot Spec? I've just spent a few months seriously ill and need to get back into some semblance of WoW activity again. I had CLCInfo set up beautifully for my Ret Spec (4 Piece LFR Tier set) and sort of for my dungeons spec (5 Piece LFR Tier set).
Somehow my kids seemed to mess up all the settings and I have tried reinstalling it but no joy with the strings for Ret and Prot. Also I need a pointer to a simple guide I can use to reset up all my icon watching, cooldowns etc.
I know we don't all like these add ons normally, but it will be a huge help for me while I build muscle memory and get myself back into the game. Really appreciate your help as I'm just stuck at the moment.
For the purposes of the CLCRet priority order, is JHOW the same was JAW since HOW is available during this time, or do they have to be listed separately. I've seen so many priorities the past few days, each claiming to be the best and/or most efficient, I'm just trying to trim the fat.
It should show duration. Uploaded a new build with a modified UnitBuff call check if it works pls.
Also, in case it doesn't work, let me know what /dump UnitBuff("player", "Templar's Verdict") shows when you have the buff up.
Still not working ... in the debug window the 4t15 stay at 0. I don't know if it can help you but this buff has no timer ... when it's up it stay up until you do a TV so for example you can build the buff on trash and start a boss fight with the buff active.
