There's no point in posting BiS lists if you aren't using the same assumptions as the OP, and since you aren't including your settings nor a Rawr file it doesn't tell us anything.

The Deadly version (requires between 1300-1350 rating and 2-3 weeks of points at that rating) is second (maybe 20 dps less than Furious). Third is Discord off Razorscale.

Using all the same options/buffs and timelength's as the OP, I found a gear list that is very similar to his using FotFF or Wrathstone.

Would it be possible to PM me that profile? Filling it in myself I only get 6538 dps with wrathstone.
I'm assuming the chest you're using is [Chestguard of the Recluse] and everything is full strength gemming.

edit: For people wondering, this profile is interesting for those of us who picked up wrathstone already and don't feel like blowing dkp in a bidwar with rogues for the blood trinket.
edit2: you're best off setting stacked trinket reset to 2 if you want to have a realistic view of ulduar encounters imo. Wouldn't be bad putting that in the OP guidelines, considering it wouldn't affect any of the current sets in that post anyway.

I entered that guy's items, and got around the same dps (20 dps less); he is using Recluse as his chest and all str gems.

So setting stacked trinket reset to 2 just affects FotFF?

Sorry for forgetting chest, it is Chestguard of Recluse. I also includes one +20 strength gem since they are easily obtainable now.

It is a good setup but still less overall dps to the 6560 dps on the optimal gear setup for leather/plate posted by Fmorrison in the OP.

Also to note for this 10 less dps it is more difficult to obtain. Swapping Volderethar for Dark edge of depravity. Vezax's hard mode is easier than no keepers and blood of the old god is a normal mode trinket which should not be that hard to get.

I would stick with the setup in the OP.

The main strength of this one is if you really wanted an on demand trinket then you could build this, but it would more difficult to obtain.

I agree it is harder to obtain. Although I do believe i239 drops from 1 keeper Yogg which is still pretty much insane. My only issue is I am trying to find a best in slot using wrathstone instead of blood of the old god since 1. I have Wrathstone and 2. Blood of the Old God will go to rogues/hunters/enhance/warrior before I would see it. (Yay loot council)

Also using the +20 fishing gem I see the max dps of the OP's bis list as 6566 fyi.

Talk to the people in your guild. From reading these forums most rouges should want the 10 man hard mode thorim trinket and grim toll

Only combat rouges may possibly want the Blood paried with dc greatness.

Hunters cant use the hit from what I am reading. They get too much hit from their other BIS

Similar problem with Warriors and they also want the Thorim trinket.

The only people I see wanting Blood of the old God enough to put up a fight for it is shammys cause they need spell hit cap and us Ret pallies cause of how our BIS is working out. I was quite surprised myself we ended up needing it.

Try talking to your guildmates and at least persuade em to read up on their respective classes BIS forums. There should not be a lot of competition for this item

Secondary Ret Spec BIS (aka 10 man Ulduar/Hard Mode gearing ONLY)

Let me preface this as I am a tankadin in my primary role, with my secondary spec as Ret. I am last on the list for any BIS gear - especially Heroic Hardmodes. I also rarely PVP hence 1950 rating isn't a likely possibility.

My Goal:
Maximize damage while in 25 mans using 0 gear from there. 10 man Ulduar + 10m Hardmodes is fair game. Badges of Conquest loot is fair game as well as you get these from 10 man Hardmodes as well as Heroic Ulduar.

Buffs:
All present in a 25 man raid minus Heroic Presence (I'm BE)

Using only JC as the profession, BE as the race, Blood as the Seal, and 17/54 spec.
This is using all buffs except Focus Magic and Amplify Magic and heroic Presence.
Consumables is Flask of Endless Rage and 40 Strength food.

Gems:
Jewelcrafting - 3 bold Dragon Eyes
Fishing - 20 str epic
Bold Scarlet Rubies

Enchants:
Head: Arcanum of Torment
Shoulders: Greater Inscription of the Axe

The 20 fishing gem is in every list, it is possible I forgot to. I usually put it in the weapon, otherwise the helm.

As mentioned to me a few posts ago, FotFF will not have 100% uptime in Ulduar. Therefore, set the stacked trinkets reset to 2 to account for that which will have the side effect of making Wrathstone > Flights, which reflects reality.

I will add a Human setup later with Wrathstone later today.

Indeed it is. However, Engineering is the worst of the crafting professions for dps and this thread is for the best.

Just as a quick estimate, Engineering adds 32 dps, Inscription/rest of the 64 AP ones adds 42 dps, Blacksmith adds 65 dps, JC adds 75 dps.

_Paladino_, you have the Inscription buff to shoulders which is why your number is so high. Rawr has you at a 6576 dps for your set up without it.

Can you post some stats ? like the exact dps number and the parameters you followed? Also try and upload your file somewhere so others can verify it in case they cannot duplicate the results.

I am using v2.2.2. I show 6544 dps with wrathstone, 6549 with fotff. (for some reason setting Stacked trinket reset does nothing for me). If i don't have the +20 fishing gem in I get 6537 dps.

I am really enjoying playing around with this. 3.0 WoW was pretty much 4 piece vs 2 piece with bis leather. There seems to be many very close best in slot setups for Ulduar. I'm currently gearing myself towards the best in slot non-hardmode though since I doubt our guild will get those pieces for a while, well on 25 man anyways.
