I'm running TotC25 (normal mode) with my alt priest as disc and thought a bit about my trinkets. Right now, I'm using [Spark of Hope] and [Pandora's Plea], but are [Tears of the Vanquished] + PP better as disc because Spirit is really weak? I'm not sure how good the unique equip effect of the Spark really is.
The Spark's mana savings are really very strong, there was some talk of it in the Ulduar priest thread if I remember correctly. ToV is probably a little more useful most of the time, just cause of the replenishment/rapture synergy. Still, do you really need two regen trinkets? You could potentially pick up a lot of throughput in that slot instead.

How do I configure Grid Manabars to show full mana, instead of showing the deficit? I've been trying to figure it out for an hour, but I cannot find it anywhere.
Why in Naxx10 (Maexxana) is my Greater Healing only healing between min 582 (avg 3171) and max 7516 and critting min 3467 (avg 3815) and max 4010? The toolitp is telling me that "A slow casting... for 4378 and 5083." I have 2495 spell power self-buffed. Is that sp reflected in the tooptip and what am I doing wrong? All this effort to get my gear and sp up and... 582 on a 2.4 second cast? I actually saw that scroll up and nearly cried. Is there a mechanic in the instance or this fight that is killng me? *pout*

Not really, no. Your getting 96 mp5, 250 sp, and a weak healing proc (2.5k to 3.5k instant heal, decent proc chance, 45s internal cooldown). (I'm ignoring the HP5 and I'm tempted to ignore the healing proc. Both are damn close to useless.)
For comparison, [Solace of the Defeated] + [Forethought Talisman] gives 128 mp5, 261 sp, and a weak healing proc (3,5k HoT, 20% proc chance, 45s internal cooldown). Frankly, any random combination of trinkets is going to be at least comparable, and if they're Ulduar/ToC and vaguely appropriate for your gear/spec/role they're likely to be significantly better. I don't think there's anyone who really benefits from the Onyxia trinket set.
Has anyone been able to configure Grid to show raid icons since the latest patch? GridStatusRaidIcons seems to be broken.
Worked fine for me yesterday. Guessing you either aren't showing them (Center Icon) or you have given Penetrating Cold higher priority than marks, in which case they won't be shown.
Ok this might be a silly question, but is it worth to hold of on ToC upgrades as a disc priest in order to keep the 4 pieces t8 bonus?
I have the 232 gloves atm, the Flowing Robes of Ascent and enough emblems to get a second 232 set piece (thus getting the 2t9 bonus), both (the other 232 pieces is an upgrade regardless) would be a nice upgrade stat wise. However, it would mean losing the 250 spellpower proc, which I'm not sure is worth it.
Chest upgrade would be: +17 int, +7 spirit, +25 spellpower, +74 haste, -50 crit
Gloves upgrade would be: +12 int, +11 haste, -8 spirit, -4 spellpower
and ofcourse, +20% healing on PoM, -250spellpower proc.
Personally, I'm getting less and less sure, which sucks because I traded a Trophy of the Crusade for the chestpiece (which I really regret in hindsight).
How much haste should a Holy Priest go for? I'm currently starting ToC Hardmodes.
Also, is there a best in slot guide for priests?
400 haste is generally the rule of thumb for holy priests. Although, I will say that I am way under that because i lost alot of haste on the new tier and i had no problem getting through 10 man heroic.
Azarias, I think this problem is very subjective. To get an answer, I got a log of the fight I'm interested in (i.e. the fight I find quite common and challenging from healing point of view), put all my casted spells into Rawr and seen that 4T8 bonus is better for me than even an ilvl258 full T9. But that's my healing pattern, my guild's healing setup etc etc
Still, I plan to roll on trophies for off-spec holy set because some times I just have to be holy. I suggest you do the same with Rawr to get an answer for yourself.
Is there a macro or mod that replaces the extremely flawed tab targeting functionality?
I'm looking for something like one (or more!) of the following: Target a mob without X debuff, Target a mob you haven't targeted within X seconds, or target the mob progressively further away?
Raiding Toc25HM as Disc, I frequently end OOM before Jaraxus death or during Jormungtars.
I'm not proud of my gemming, favouring SP over everything else.
Red 23sp Yellow 12 sp 10 int Blue : 12 sp 15 stam.
Should I swap 15 stam with Spirit or mp5?
Should I put Int in every yellow slot?
Should I just wait for Solace of the Fallen?
Before we look at gear, are you using your shadowfiend? Is it staying up and attacking for it's full duration? Also, are you actually allowing your shadowfiend to regenerate mana or are you using it when your mana is too high and thus wasting the shadowfiend?
Further, are you using Hymn of Hope and are you using it in conjunction with the shadowfiend?

Yes, I use, my shadow fiend as soon as possible. Usualy bringing me from 40% to 90% mana pool then possibly a second time later. I use Hymn of Hope during the transition between Jormungtars and IceHowl while my fellow Sacred priest use it after Gormok death. I restrain from using it too much on Jaraxux because of the healing downtime.
I also use Runic Potions and my talent as Blood Elf (6% mana) on CD.
Recently changing my 4pT8 to 2T9+Merlin+Ony10 gave me a good boost in Sp/Crit/Haste but downed my regen stat from 600 to 400.
I've never used Shadow Friend in conjunction with Hymne of Hope. I'll try that, thanks for the advice.
As for gear, I think you picked up far too much of that damage dealer equipment in ToC.
Your mana regeneration has dropped to extremely low levels, and you have not compensated for it by gaining a lot of int.
Your gain in spellpower is nice, but the larger amount of itemization points has gone into crit and haste - neither of which is really useful for a disc priest beyond a certain amount, especially in 25 man where you will always have full haste and crit buffs.

@Neferneith: I'd also suggest switching out the blues from stam to mp5. I find that I have enough stamina so that nothing really instagibs me just from gear alone. (There are some bad things, like eating too many 2 wrong color orbs or whatever, but those are screw ups, rather than random.)
I'm disc, and I just pop one shadowfiend on a worm and that's enough to keep me good the whole fight. Another time to regen is also during Icehowl stuns. In general, though, I've not found mana to be an issue. (Well, okay maybe like halfway through a 10 minute Faction Champs or something, but by that time healing requirements are negligible so you could stand around and wand)
