The error was NoScript blocking access to shadowref.appspot.com. Which actually doesn't show up in NoScript's list until you hit the Auto-Reforge All button, and thus I didn't notice it wasn't allowed to execute.

Hey Antiarc, nice work on the dps simulator

I'm a combat rogue, who just tried importing my character to your Shadowcraft site. One thing I noticed on the site, is that the Pawn stat weighs to the left side aren't the same as the EP values given to each stat on ieatpaperbag's combat guide. Why is this?

Ps. just a funny thing I noticed when clicking "Optimize Gems":

Also, why does the log start from the bottom and go up? It's quite confusing... Can you make it start at the top and go down?

The 'Reset to last Armory import' option seems to crash the whole thing (it does the spinning loading graphic and then sits there until you manually refresh the page). Using the 'refresh from Armory' option works fine, though.

@Matl1: The EP values are different because they're being computed based on your exact stats. ieatpaperbag's EPs are general estimates, whereas the values you'll see on Shadowcraft are calculated for your exact setup. You'll notice that ieatpaperbag's stat weights are "the current estimated EP values for stats in heroic T11 gear".

The log goes bottom-to-top because of an annoyance in HTML - the log is a div with overflow set on it, and keeping it scrolled to the bottom is really ugly in multiple browsers. I agree that it's suboptimal, but the alternative isn't great.

@Zellyn, what browser are you seeing that in?

The little annoyance comented before on the dps chart saving gear setups but not saving the settings tab properly (it does save some though) is that whenever you switch back to any state it ticks every profession which end triggering the BS sockets to show and you cannnot get rid of them afterwards. In fact there's no way to tick them off if/when you tick BS on/off.
Using chrome10 under winXP.

This should be fixed, and as a bonus, blacksmithing sockets properly remove themselves from the sheet when you untick blacksmithing.

Yeah, sorry. That was in Firefox 3.6.12, it works fine in Firefox 4 RC2.

I actually have one question, when you toggle 'use Potion of the Tol'vir', is there any way to control when you use it or is just assumed you'll be stacking it with Bloodlust and Vendetta/AR/KS/etc.?

Awesome work, loving the interface

Just to let you know - I tested out the pawn string, but it seems to be doing something funny with OH weapons. For some reason [Throat Slasher] comes out with a pawn rating of 1741, where [Quicksilver Blade] looks to be coming out with 450.3. I'm hit capped, so at a bit of a loss to work out what is skewing the stats so much.

In ShadowCraft-Engine all on use effects and procs are averages over their uptime. Once per fight abilities like Bloodlust and Potion of the Tol'Vir (there is currently no way to enable "pre-potting") use the fight duratation setting for that.

The only exception I can remember is that Killingspree has a setting to wait for a full Bandit's Guile stack. This simply increases the KS cooldown by the average time it takes to get to a full BG stack (and increases its damage accordingly) and there is no other form of "synchronizing" cooldowns.

Double scratch that - although the mastery stat isn't flowing through, that is not the cause of the delta.

It was caused by pawn is not processing OH speed and OH dps on weapons that are described as 'one-hand'. So the mastery only accounted for about 100 of the EP value.

Any views on how to best handle this? If I run the 1H values to mirror the OH values, it skews the MH weapon EP too much? (this may belong on the pawn forums, but just in case any here have wisdom to share on this)

Just a small idea: Instead of sorting recommended upgrades by a max ilvl, can you make a feature (much like Sp00n's gear sheet has), where you have the option to tick which kind of upgrades should be displayed i.e. General, Heroics, Raids, Heroic Raids and PvP. This suggestion is mostly made, because I hate seeing those PvP upgrades, when I never PvP and I havn't made it to heroic raids yet, so it's useless atm.

Another small feature request: A button for clearing the graph and log would be nice. Currently I have to refresh the page to clear the graph. (I'd still like the stat window to be detached from the gear scroll area, as well)

Considering how close Wound Poison is to Instant in the ShadowCraft engine for both Combat and Subtlety, would it be possible to model target changes/interruptions where your Deadly Poison stacks are reset? It would be helpful in determining if there are encounters where changing to Wound might be a DPS gain.

Thank you for all the hard work and effort put into making Shadowcraft, both the front end and the inner workings. It's brilliant.

I have been playing around with for a few weeks now, even when it was hosted by Caffiene on his web Ui. As mainly a mutilate rogue, I have been collecting the odd pieces to make a combat set, and although it's very different from the combat we know, it is useful on one or two Heroic fights. However, I'm at a loss as to why the spreadsheet is stating that combat as single target is far ahead (around 1.2k dps) in similar gear configurations. Indeed, the highest single target DPS in BiS slot gear is in Combat (again a 1.2k gap). I'm no mathematician, but is combat scaling better than mutilate? Is the spreadsheet taking something into account that I'm completely missing?

The discrepancy is so much, that I've even thought of using all my BiS items for combat and reforge everything. I'd rather not play as combat just because of its play style at the moment, but with figures that are so different, I'm very tempted.
