Ok, I had more time to sit down and read back thru the thread and I seen I had the same issue as Leiata and had to whitelist the site in adblock plus to get everything working correctly again. Not sure why adblock suddenly caused issues but whatever it was, whitelisting did the trick.

Just tried the reforge all button on the Shadowcraft tool and I am getting a 'Error contacting reforge service' at the upper right of the screen. This is in IE9.

Hello, today i used the web application on both my laptop and desktop checking for upgrades, when i noticed that the same gear and reforgings gave different estimated dps on each, the laptop showing ~20 more dps than the desktop, i checked thoroughly but everything was the same except the dps. Am i missing something?

I would check to make sure your professions and glyphs are correct in both versions. I've found that importing from armory does not reset these, so if for some reason they're out of sync then fresh imports will not necessarily fix that.

The Mistral Circle of the Stormblast (Heroic) needs to be added. The normal version is on there and it blanks out the slot for the normal version when pulled from armory.

Antiarc mentioned that it might be a bug (I had a similar issue with normal sword "of the Stormblast").

On a related note, I've encountered another issue with the sword mentioned above. Since the new UI was having problems pulling it from the Armory, I decided to check it with Caffeine's web UI since the calculations engine is the same. With normal Fang of Twilight equipped, my projected DPS is 23510.12, spell hit is 1.24 EP, mastery is 1.07 EP. Now, "Stormwake, the Tempest's Reach of the Stormblast" is almost identical to the Fang, with only mastery swapped for hit which is a more valuable stat since I'm below spell hit cap. However, with Stormwake, the Tempest's reach equipped my projected dps is 23430.15. All enchants/gems/reforges were the same with both weapons. Am I missing something, or is this a bug in the engine?

EDIT: the wowhead links didn't work for some reason.

Saving a snapshot with an apostrophe in the name seems to be causing that snapshot to glitch out, I'm unable to delete or load said snapshots.

Is there some sort of bug/update on shadowcraft.mmo-mumble.com recently?

I'm not getting a DPS calculation like I was a few weeks ago. My character sheet & equipments are all there, but the right-hand column is just blank (black background).

Also, when I hit Auto-Reforge All now, it suggested I reforge over half of my equipments to Expertise, ending up with a 776 Exp and 726 Hit rating. Is this some new theorycraft that I'm not aware of? O.o

Fixed it up. One of my recent fixes to make ads unobtrusive was adding a class that caused AdBlock to hide the whole right sidebar. Fixed now.

I see a lot of numbers contradicting with the assassination thread.. should I trust this over that?

An example is the shadowcraft GUI says that Orc is higher dps than Goblin.. according to the assn thread Goblin is the highest dps.

I do not think anyone has really claimed Goblins to be the best horde race for Assassination rogues in terms of pure DPS and that the general consensus was that Goblins and Orcs were similar in DPS with Orcs being a little better. Though several people have made the argument that Rocket Jump gave Goblins a big edge in this tier of raiding. This post is where it was last discussed.

I have a few suggestions concerning shadowcraft UI.

- Would it be possible to suggest items based on their EP value (Base + gem + optimal reforge) and not compare them to what we have currently equipped? this brings up weird listings as Wind Dancer's gloves are better than Stormbolt's (twilight highlands rep), yet they show beneath them? I prefer not to compare because of reforging possibilities.

- Would it be possible to suggest gems according to the socket bonus? In my Wind Dancer's Tunic, it is suggesting i gem 2x40 agi, when clearly going for 20agi/20hit + 40agi + 20agi bonus is better.

- Also, i think it may have been suggested already, but i would really like a DPS breakdown of abilities (like caffeine's) that way i can know which gear setups help me in specific encounters. (high mastery for AoE, for example)

Anyhow, thanks for the wonderful UI.
And mad thanks to Aldriana for building this awesome engine.

When gemming for 20agi/20hit, this gem is suggested, when gemming nothing/40agi, 40agi is suggested.

I'd like to add one point which i noticed:
Wearing this set of gear, auto reforging suggests something like that:

Reforged Signet of the Elder Council to -50 Haste Rating / +50 Hit Rating
Reforged Poison Fang Bracers to -44 Hit Rating / +44 Mastery Rating
Reforged Cape of the Brotherhood to -44 Haste Rating / +44 Mastery Rating
Reforged Tsanga's Helm to -67 Crit Rating / +67 Haste Rating
Reforged Belt of Nefarious Whispers to -73 Hit Rating / +73 Haste Rating
Reforged Organic Lifeform Inverter to -38 Expertise Rating / +38 Hit Rating
Reforged Crafty's Gaiters to -52 Haste Rating / +52 Hit Rating

which results in the exact same stats as my current reforge.
