Along the lines of bugs, I clicked "optimize gems" out of curiosity on my character sheet today, and it happily told me to socket my gear with four Chimera's Eye.

I *LOVE* this utility overall, though I also observed that it's valuing Kiroptyric Sigil way too high. I'm currently using Heroic Prestor's, which based on my current weighting should be:

(363 * 2.81) + ((2178 *1.68) * .16666) = 1630 AEP

The Sigil comes out to:

(458 * 1.71) + ((2.82 * 2290) * .166666) = 1859 AEP

Yet despite the small, 229 AEP upgrade from the Sigil, Shadowcraft is showing it as a straight 1100 dps upgrade over Prestor's. Hopefully this can be corrected soon.

Shadowcraft is showing me 500 dps reduction, when switching normal No'kaled to heroic Morningstar and ~1800 dps loss with Fear. Does it count proc of No'kaled correctly, is it really SO good?

I'm seeing this too.

For me it's almost a 1800 DPS leap when switching to No'Kaled, the Elements of Death (Normal) from Fear.

I personally think it's just an issue with how the Stage 1 daggers are calculated.

If you refer to refer to this post 2 days ago by nextormento you will see that it is not a result of stage 1 daggers being valued too low, but rather that No'Kaled is modeled as too powerful. Unless Shadowcraft was very recently updated without a confirmation post, it is currently modeled incorrectly as proccing off of Main Gauche.

I wonder if Simulationcraft is also allowing the axe to proc from MG, since it is showing a ~200dps boost when going from normal Morningstar of Heroic Will to raid finder version of No'Kaled, even though the mace setup was exp cap and the axe setup was not.

So does this mean that Fear is better than the normal No'Kaled for combat? i've tried looking around on this forum a lot to find some confirmation as to which setup is better but i keep seeing diffrent answers.
Anyways gl to you all and i really appreciate the people actually doing the theorycrafting and testing

Until the modeling has been worked out I can't say for sure, however I would be inclined to think that normal No'Kaled, iLevel 403, will still be better than Fear for combat. Just not by as much as people are currently seeing.

My inclination is based on Shadowcraft showing that other normal 2.6 MH weapons, iLevel 397, such as Morningstar of Heroic Will and even Spine of the Thousand Cuts are slightly better for combat than Fear while No'Kaled is intended to be a "better" drop (both in iLevel and being from the final encounter) than those options. If No'Kaled will surpass them remains to be seen but I expect it to at least be as good as those options.

Additionally, it is my understanding that the 2.6 MH offerings are outperforming Fear due to the agility buff from a complete phase 1 dagger set stacking very slowly for combat compared to the other specs.

Also consider that a 2.6 speed like nokaled gives you back proper KS. MG, and IP dmg on top of the proc. It is very likely that normal nokaled is quite a good bit better than fear.

So, anyone who can tell if the Kiroptyric Sigil trinket is right or wrong in SC? On my char i SC I get Sigil as BiS pre HC together with Wrath of Unchaining. I would really like a good answer for this, cause I want to spend my valorpoints to their full potential.

Main Gauche is flagged a proc in SimC and we have it set so that procs can't trigger No'Kaled. No'Kaled is just really good.

Wrath of the Unchaining: this is probably the same bug that's causing problems with the legendary set bonus, just on a smaller scale. It will hopefully be fixed by the next backend update of the site.

Sigil: Currently its being modeled at a 60 sec cooldown instead of 90. The next code update will also fix this.

Nokaled: We're still experimenting with the modeling. It is probably good. It is probably not quite as good as its currently showing up. No one is going to be able to tell you anything more than that for the time being.

Addendum: please stop asking about the aforementioned 3 items. Thanks.

Basically: we're still working on getting the modeling right, and due to time constraints by all involved developers, it takes time to develop fixes to issues as they are discovered, and time for those fixes to make it onto the actual website. We're doing the best we can. Please be patient.

Seeing this bug posted I double checked that neither of my before or after scenario involve 4 JC gems. However that was not the issue for me.

Here's the log of what happens when I auto regem:
Beginning auto-regem...
Regemming Time Twisted Tunic socket 2 from Deft Ember Topaz to Delicate Chimera's Eye
Regemming Dark Phoenix Gloves socket 1 from Delicate Chimera's Eye to Delicate Inferno Ruby
Regemming Wayfinder Boots socket 1 from Deft Ember Topaz to Delicate Inferno Ruby
Finished automatic regemming: Δ -28 EP
What changes (apart from moving which item the JC gem is in) is replacing orange gems in my tunic and boots with red ones losing the bonuses in the process. The chest bonus is 20 agi, so this is a straight loss of 20 haste. The boots is a slightly more nuanced case as it picks up 10 agi at the cost of 20 haste. Haste currently has exactly 1/2 the stat weight of agi (1.37 vs. 2.74).

If anyone knows what is going on, please let me know.

Just wanted to throw in that the auto-reforger told me to reforge the socket bonus on [Desecrated Shoulderguards] from +4 crit to +4 haste. First time seeing this issue but I thought I should bring it up. Thanks for the awesome tool!
