Hey guys.
I got the legendary daggers last night and am finding that the proc just does not happen. Once on Ultraxion, None on Warmaster, none on spine and 3 times on death wing. I assume this is due to restless blades (I am obviously combat). It seems that rather than allowing restless to proc only off the first evic in the legendary proc. They chose to just lower the stack rate.
My question based off all that is, does combat still fall on top, or does Mutilate/Sub come out as hiher dps due to higher stack rates.
All that said I am a little disappointed with how often it procs for combat.

Simple question,
I'm about to have 60/60 orbs on the spine this week... The question is, can i return the quest and take the last one (the one where killed madness is needed) before kill madness and allow me to have the legendaries after madness or do i have to wait the next timer to loot madness ?!
sorry for my english...

The jaw won't have the fragment you need if you aren't on the final step when you kill madness, so if your 60th cluster is from madness you'll need to wait an entire week. Grats on the forthcoming legendary and best of luck

If you get the 60th orb off of Spine, then yes, just have your raid wait while you go turn in the quest and get the final step to kill Deathwing and take his jaw (when I did this, I had somebody on standby fly out to Ravenholdt to summon me and save us a bit of raid time). Then just have your raid summon you back, kill Deathwing, collect the jaw fragment, and profit.

or if you have a mage in the raid, ask for a portal to UC, fly to ravenholdt, then get the summon back, kill madness, ask for portal again, collect, profit.

It is a slow proc for combat, which I assume is to keep dps equality among the specs. I do get better dps from sub though on training dummy but only marginal. You're fine if you want to stay combat, less procs, but dps is still high

Combat procs for legendaries are around 30% change per melee hit, 70% for subtlety and almost 90% for assassination.
I have no solid numbers to prove this, all the above proc rates are based off personal observations.
Reason why combat has the lowest proc is due to the talent Restless Blades which reduces our 2 major dps cooldowns by a minute for each proc.

Ah my apologies for providing inaccurate information.
Subtlety has the highest chance for proccing, followed by assassination, then combat.

Why do shadowcraft display Valor Points items to exist in HC versions, such as Belt of Hidden Keys and Emergency Descent Loop? :O

I recently started playing with sub spec, I'm quite happy with the results but looking for ways to improve (currently between 50-55k dps on random FL and LFR bosses, not using it in hc raids because I'd have to re-reforge for ultrax)
As far as the opener goes, if I use tricks on the pull (for its original purpose), then I won't have tricks for shadowdance for the next 30 seconds. Should I still dance asap? Currently I'm using vanish-prep-vanish to cover the first 30 seconds of the fight with find weakness, then doing tricks-dance. Not sure if its worth potentially losing an extra dance, though.
I often find myself in a situation when I have like 6 seconds left on snd/recup and 5 cp - should I still refresh those, even though it leads to quite a bit of clipping?
Lastly, if fury of the destroyer procs during dance, should I use the eviscerates (making sure to ambush at the last second of the dance) or keep spamming ambush as much as energy allows?

The Assassination-Compendium states the following about racials:

Trolls also have reduced snare/root duration from Da Voodoo Shuffle which could help if a boss had these mechanics. For bosses classified as beasts, such as Beth'tilac and Chimaeron, Trolls are the clear dominate race for DPS because of Beast Slaying.
Goblin
Goblins, the new Horde race, have a passive 1% increased attack speed (this is not the same as haste which would include increased energy regen) from Time is Money. Additionally Goblins have a shared cooldown ability that will either deal some fire damage to a target (Rocket Barrage) or launch you forward (Rocket Jump) which can be quite useful as a melee class since some encounters require some movement to avoid boss mechanics or change targets.
|
Is this information correct as of now?
I am asking because Wowhead states Berserking ( Berserking - Spell - World of Warcraft) as a 20% increase in attack and casting speed (and not haste) which is the exact same wording as on Time is Money ( Time is Money - Spell - World of Warcraft)

Previously it was believed that the Troll racial was attack speed only. During T12 ( here) it was discovered that it appears to increase haste, despite what the tooltip says. It is not impossible that that has since changed, and if you'd like to re-test (and in particular if you'd like to re-test on beta) that would be great; but what is written there is correct based on the most recent testing we have.

Now that I have T13 4pc, when I Adrenaline Rush at the start of a fight, I reach Deep Insight with so much time left on my AR that I cannot dump energy before Killing Spreeing with Deep Insight up. Which should I do:
1) KS with AR still up, accepting the energy lost in pursuit of maximizing my cooldown usage
2) Delay my AR until after my first KS
3a) Delay my KS until I can dump energy (so KSing without any Bandit's Guile buff)
3b) Delay my KS until my next Deep Insight
I couldn't find this issue addressed in either this thread or the Combat Guide for Cata.
